    Going to start my tub garden today. Thanks so much for all information on how to do it. I have started bell peppers and other peppers from seeds out of the ones I bought. The one plant I have growing all winter long in my south window. Will but it outside next month when it wont freeze at night. You are a wonderful person to help people like me. I also do the hummingbird feeders but don't know when I should put them out this year. I live in southern New Mexico.

    Thank you for your tips about the soldering iron. I used to either wait for my husband to charge the cordless drill or try to use it myself and remember how to change the drill bits. 😕😖 Now I just get out my soldering iron and Voila! Holes in just a few minutes. 😀😊😁

    I got my soldering iron via your ebay link and I love it! I think I OD'd on the number of holes I made on the mobile compost in place yogurt containers tho, but it was so much fun to use! It gets super hot and I barely use any pressure at all. I found that if I let it sit on the plastic it will melt a fairly large drain hole. My drill has to charge for hours so having a quicker way to get the job done has been great! Thanks Robbie 😁

      Using a drill for these simple gardening functions is a big PIA.
      Use mine so much I decided to get a couple of back up soldering irons to have on hand, just in case.

      That is awesome! Your drill sounds like my drill, the battery is always run down (cheap drill). The soldering iron just works great, can use even if the totes are already set up, I can add extra holes anytime AND I now am using them for ALL kinds of fun projects, COMING soon, take care, and THANKS

Take a sharp fork and get a little chard and dip it in your favorite salad dressing. Like dipping lobster in butter. I love chard this way. I also like dipping blueberries in sour cream!

    Love your videos, I have made a solar fountain for the birds and now (it took awhile for them to use it) have sweet green and yellow finches that come to drink & bath, it is so fun to watch. I also planted veggies in my first tote, so I am excited to watch them grow!
    I thought I would be really crafty and use a melmac serving dish for my solar fountain...That is NOT going to work with the soldering iron.
    (might with a drill?) She is using items that are Plastic, which is what I thought melmac was....it's not really. Be sure and listen to Robbie. Use a table when making holes (especially when using the soldering iron for the first few times) and have a dish to put it on as she suggested. I burned my finger rather badly on my attempt with melmac, totally my own fault. I am going to make another fountain, soon. I have a little plastic water can, so I'm hoping to make one similar to the one in a previous video.

    • @RobbieAndGaryGardeningEasy
      @RobbieAndGaryGardeningEasy  3 года назад

      On the melmac, I would use a dremel if the drill does not work. Sounds fun your projects! More coming with solar fountains too, and some will be using a soldering iron, thanks so much, take care! (and I have burned myself with a GLUE gun....my fault too 😊)

      You are right, they get super hot. While I'm using mine I set it in one of those disposable aluminum foil pans. They are cheap and the whole soldering iron fits in it so it won't fall over and burn anything. I double up the pans so it has 2 layers for extra safety. Happy Gardening! 💓❤️🧡💛💚💕

I am a bit concerned about the fume when the plastic melts. How toxic is that? I am going to use it outside on my deck and probably wear a mask though.

    Robbie I had a hummingbird with a red head and neck at 12:45 am came and got his sugar water . I thought they don’t go after dark. I have a leaf less tree right in front of my balcony where he could see so maybe he wanted to get ahead of the other hummingbirds lol. I have 3

    • @RobbieAndGaryGardeningEasy
      @RobbieAndGaryGardeningEasy  3 года назад

      That is very odd, they do not fly at night, BUT if he was staving, at least he was smart enough to get some sugar water from a familiar feeder he knew, which may have saved his life....GOOD and WONDERFUL you had that out for that little guy! I have Christmas lights here on our window with all the feeders, so some can come just as it is getting dark to get that last drink, Thank you!
