When you have finished with or upgrade the Ten Point crossbow, I will happily give her a new home and treat it like my other bows. It really is an amazing crossbow with fantastic looks and it really gives its revels at Ravin and PSE a good fight. Well done guys on making such an phenomenal piece of kit:
You should test with heavier bolts. They make bolts in the 500-700 grain. Manufacturers that provide bolts are usually on the lighter end at 350-370 grain so they can achieve the advertised speed. But heavy bolts will have much more momentum. Try that and watch how much more it penetrates.
Is that another way of saying bloody dangerous? I guess the saving grace was that it was going backwards, but it would still have ruined your day if it had hit you.
That was awesome, never seen something like that. That was ingenious thinking , never imagined a cross bow could deliver that kind of energy.. keep it up both of yall !!
That ricocheting arrow wow was so fast it was already next to you when you reacted to move. Can’t wait to see more with this crossbow and safe to say you won’t be burning your fingers
Crossbow bolts ricochet too.. I was hit in the head with a bolt from a Barnett Commando that bounced off of a 2"x4". It hurt like all heck but it did not break my skin and thank goodness, it did not hit me in the eye or knock out my teeth. If shooting at a flat object they will come straight back at you, backwards.
Okay, you're working at a really weird ER when you hear a patient say "I was shooting an arrow at Mr Gonzalez who was wearing a cast iron skillet and the arrow came back and hit me".
Holy Sh*t !!! Never would have thought a crossbow would go through cast iron. Thanks for the video!!!! In the market for another crossbow and looking hard at a Tenpoint Turbo S1
I'd like to see what that crossbow can do with much heavier bolts. I used to make bolts out of solid steel rods and while they weren't very fast, they had a LOT of penetrating power (not to mention recoil).
Guys i want to thank you for making me laugh everyday ! I legit watch 5-6 videos of you guys and i just love it! Greetings from Europe to Jasperito and Edwin ( Sry if i spelled that wrong forgive me )
Little analyse : Seeing your first shot, I can almost certify this one was deadly. The shockwave on a real sternum would probably hit the heart located behind at the same time and kill the target
¡Ay, caramba!! El señor Gonzalez debería usar esa sartén para cocinar... Disclaimer: Sadly a 12 inch Lodge Cast Iron skillet WAS harmed in the making of this video... In fact he killed it!
I would say re-test. I'd hypothesize that the integrity of the bolt or shaft was compromised after the initial penetration and even more so when you were hammering it out. I'm sure it would make it through if you re-tested with a new skillet and bolt. Great stuff my friend!
True, but the biggest problem on the second shot is the angle. It gives the possibility to divert the arrow up instead of letting it transfer it's full energy/momentum to the skillet. It also makes the skillet effectively thicker. All of this is why modern tanks have slanted fronts, it is much more effective in protecting against a projectile
Holy shit Batman!!! I thought the video was run backwards, then realized it wasn’t and the arrow bounced straight off the pan and flew backwards! WOW 😳 Glad no one was hurt.
Another video idea for you, try to make a bulletproof vest out of 1in horse stall mats and see how you do by testing it with all your guns to see what caliber it will stop... btw love the vids brother keep em coming 💪
Well most heavy crossbows that can shoot a big 700G bolt can I won’t like to be hit by that see these weapons you can get without a license yet in the uk you can own a powerful crossbow that can go through barns and shit yet more powerful than a 12 joul air rifle and can over penatrate certain targets even crossbow clubs ban these high power ones because they will just go too far
All the company that makes crossbows say they have the fastest one. one I have been looking at on buying is the Scorpyd Aculeus Crossbow Weight which reaches 460 FPS has a 180 LB Draw Weight. Crossbows are getting crazy on the speed. Here in Missouri it was just Handicap people could use one hunting. They past it anyone can use one now. This bow I am looking at has a heavy price. $2,253.00
the first bolt did so well, because you had a large air space behind the pan. the second shot, you had the pan right against the backstop, making a more solid target, and, it was angled. the last shot bouncing back, must have been due largely to the slower speed. again, the pan had the air space behind it as well, and the backstop is made of rubber. the xbow is super-fast and blew through, but the slower recurve must have been just that sweet-spot speed to create the bounce against the rubber backstop.
Dude your first shot was dead-nuts bullseye😁!
Thanks 😁
Yea noticed that very cool 😎
He has a scope.
I didn’t know arrows ricochet. Now I know 😬😬😬🏹🥊
Ricochet Gonzalez.
bullets und less danger icht arrows
Need to be careful with arrows😱
P.s do not snap an arrow with your bare hands lol just a fyi.
hopefully that thing was not a bullet right??
That escalated quickly. Your target are shooting back!
Steven LeBlanc soon it'll be shouting CABRON!
6:27 he got hit with that uno reverse card
*presumably almost loses his life (without knowing the tip wasn't on it) * -->* Instantly starts laughing*. See that's why we all love you Edwin 🤣🤣🤣
I would have died smiling I guess lol 😂
@@EdwinSarkissian hahaha he texted back
"You wanna do it the other way one time?"
"Ehh..no"

that arrow coming back was the funniest shit
Somebody get this man a ballistic panel. It would be great PR to save a RUclipsrs life
The slow mo of you when the arrow bounced back was priceless. lmao
I loved how Edwin ducked ages after the arrow had already gone past.
that arrow said, "NOPE!!!" and went back in perfect cartoon reverse. LOL

"Pan-shot!" cried the old man.
It never fails for this guy to come up with answers to questions I'm always wondering about
Excellent inadvertent and scary demonstration of how sloped armor works. That ricochet FTW.
It came back at you backwards almost as fast as you shot it! Please be careful, you need to make more video's for us!
Man these two crack me up. Funny dudes.
Your vids r amazing
Great As Always
😂😃🤣😂 you really thought you were going to pull that out with your bare hands?😂😂😂😂 I love you guys!
I enjoyed the video!
Ten point, Wow! That might be my next weapon I buy! Very impressed with this video.🤘
The loom on your face as that arrow came whizzing back at you was priceless! Not very safe but definitely funny :)
That crossbow is awesome, stay safe my friends. Love your videos and your positivity.
Thank you 😊
That's one heck of a crossbow to puncture a cast iron skillet I got to get me one of them
Thinking the same.. This or the Scorpyd Nemesis 480 though!? :)
The camera guys hella funny 😂😂
6:26 ...when Jose’ Gonzales finally fights back😳
🤣‼️
I had that happen in my garden. Bounced back and hit the windows in lounge! 😆😆
Yoo I don’t know why it was so funny when that arrow ricocheted. 🤣

Love the vids
Thank you 🙏
No problem my good sir
Almost made one hell of a headline on the evening news 😂.
I love your first shot😍😍
Thanks
My day just got more 😀
Do you have any aluminium bolts? When you turned the skillet around and the bolt shattered I reckon an aluminium one would have penetrated better
That reaction to the arrow bouncing back in slomo lol

Interesting, I still watch you every day
was waiting for that bounce back
That came fast good thing the "tip" wasn't on" 😂😂😂
You two are hilarious! The Abbott and Costello of RUclips. 5 star rating guys.👍😂🤣😂

That's badass!!!!!
wow - that was close... thanks for risking your life for science guys - highly appreciated ; )
WOW LOL! Almost got it !
Shooting 50 cal rounds for $200 each: no problem
Wasting a couple $8 arrows: problem 😁
Actually, most* .50cal BMG rounds cost ~$2.50 - $8.00 depending on exact type.
SuicideNeil Those tungsten carbide core ones are a bit more expensive
The 50 bmg raufoss rounds (explosive) are $70-120 each! He only occasionally shoots those babies.
@@matts2502 Still a lot of dough for a few second s of fun
@@chewieone1064 yeah, but he has had sponsorship from ammo company... And the $ from views on RUclips I think would pay for a few rounds lol 👍

A name for your new target , General G !
That's one damn nice crossbow

Yes, it was the angle that stopped it from going deep into the skillet. The 45 lb bow shot, wow, did you not think it might bounce back?
Great video! Haven’t missed a video, for a long time. Ten point against gummy bears!! Just a thought!
"...Mr. Jose Gonzales..." Lol!

Hello from Turkey. Beautiful video edwin!
Edwin: ima full send it

These guys are crazy lol, I was cringing so hard cuz already knew it was bouncing back
Imagine what a stronger bolt would do..... Like a pointed steel or titanium rod with fletching glued to the end...... a custom A.P. bolt
