Due to a variety of reasons, I appreciate Dawoud's answer to this because I've met a lot of people who are either deaf or hard of hearing & more often than not when talking to a hearing person they have to read lips to get an idea of what you're saying unless you know ASL or BSL. Also, this often applies to those who don't have English as their first language, for example: My husband is Russian & was born & raised in Kazakhstan, so obviously his first language isn't English, when I first met my husband he often watched my mouth & would ask to repeat what I say if he didn't quite catch what I said. He's almost fluent in English now but still is learning to be more & more fluent, he still watches my mouth as an instinct when having conversations especially when I use vocabulary he may not know.

In regards to 17:47 question, I do think it’s important to talk about all of your past to your husband or fiancé as much as possible. Disclose if you don’t want to go into details but mention it. As a 15 year old and it’s only my opinion but the question about the hijabis and non hijabis being attractive I think men just find non hijabis more attractive because that’s the way Allah made them and that’s the sole reason we wear hijab to not be attractive to random men and me myself as a hijabi I think why he said is also very true but again it’s just my opinion u can disagree

In regards to 17:47 question, I do think it’s important to talk about all of your past to your husband or fiancé as much as possible. Disclose if you don’t want to go into details but mention it. I think transparency before marriage is so important as it builds genuine intimacy. Especially if the sin may come out in the future e.g. you should both know each other’s previous sexual partners outside of marriage or if you’ve ever had an abortion etc. Regardless, I think there should never be a time that your spouse doesn’t know everything about your past. Your spouse should be able to stand tall and say “oh yeah... they already told me that ages ago”.
