Ha! Lovely video. My memories of the weir are a hot summer in (I think) 1982. Sliding down the weir! The only trouble is there are steel bolts sticking out of the concrete and they rip yer arse to shreds!
If you slide down the weir off the end, and duck down under the water you can go _under_ the weir ledge and sit with your back to the weir and watch the water rushing past you!
    Thanks for the memories! 👍

Yes sliding down the Weir is sketchy at best and thank you 👍👍

Great video imagery and the sound quality is definitely improved.
The weir is great although I have to say I was getting a few "Pennywise" vybes there. You wouldn't catch me even near those grills, let alone swimming the salmon shoot. Sadly remember a few tragedies on that stretch. Particularly the car that went in one night claiming all three occupants.

I used to live in one of those house, I rented a room there. One drunken evening me and a mate went on the island and explored it! Didn’t knew the Beatles visited there??? Real you think ?
