Paused at 1:32 to take a breath. That is, hand’s down, the single best intro to a fishing video you will ever witness…it will NEVER be eclipsed (sorry everyone else). Ryan, you have a gift, and on behalf of your subscribers, we say thank you.
Love your opening imagine being 42 when I was young you heard the saying your just not old enough. HAD A WONDERFUL CHILDHOOD ALOT OF STUFF KIDS CAN'T ENJOY NOW
Wow, this video really captures the essence of both nostalgia and adventure. It's so refreshing to see someone reflect on their youth while embracing the thrill of the present moment. The pier setting adds an unpredictable charm, echoing both past and present fishing stories. The variety of fish caught and the camaraderie with fellow anglers make it a truly engaging watch. Ryan's enthusiasm and dedication shine through, making each catch and encounter feel like a celebration of life's simple joys.
I agree with everyone else man, you have some of the best saltwater videos. Your videography and narrations are always great! You are gonna blow up on here one day, I’m shocked you don’t have more subs. Keep the hard work up!👍🏾
Ryan i think i speak for many when i say i dont mind you taking time off because the time you put into your videos is amazing. Every video is like a mini movie intself.
This is a really good channel. I watch fishing content at night when i go to bed for an hour or two. So 10-13min videos are not worth watching. You cant do or explain anything in that amount of time. Your videos are perfect. And the quality is far above your sub count. I’m stoked to watch this backlog. Its too bad you cant produce content more often. Cuz it is very very good
I can totally relate. I grew up in Norfolk VA on the Chesapeake Bay and the good ole days fishing at the biers and river banks catching striped, red drum, black drum, specks, flounder, etc. not worrying about time, bills, success, etc lol. I really miss those times I’m changing my mindset to have that quality of life that I ounce had. Awesome vid!
Great video as usual. It's always good to self reflect from time to time. I'm with ya on wanting to grow up fast, then when looking back want it to last a little longer. Keep up the good work.
My family and I were on the Juno pier the day y’all caught several big jacks. We were visiting from out of state, it was a very awesome experience and all the fishermen were friendly. Great video, God bless!
Before i say anything, let me say that i love your videos and your an amazingly skilled fishermen, that being said, i cpuld never fish on a pier like that man 😂 way to many people in way to close proximity, once i get tangled with two people im already ticked off beyond belief, i give you props man, amazing fishing and people skills, amazing video skills, and damn good content. Keep it up homie you'll hit 1mil for sure
Looked like a fun couple days on the pier! Another great video Ryan. Your plate looked better just because of the zucchini. Keep up the great work, and love the catch and cooks.
I live in Miami FL and I’ve never been to Juno beach pier. I’ve always fishing in Naples pier and now that it’s destroyed I need to find another place to escape to. Every time I see your pier videos it makes want to drive up their even more. Keep Grinding.
Well done video with many tricks used. I also like fishing, but I'm not an expert. I also love taking pictures and making RUclips videos. Thank you so much!
Bro!, your Videos are Always Excellent! Love your narration, and content for Tips and tricks ate a Definite +! Pier fishing is Akways a blast as well!Congrats my friend!! Can't wait for more Videos!
Great video Ryan! Your drone shots are amazing and the catching is pretty damn good too. Love how it’s not always about you. Love the CCC’s. Food looked amazing!
Any recommendations on gear or a resource for gear for Pier and jetty fishing? I'm going to be going to Destin next week for my first time fishing in saltwater. Looking for any advice I can to hook up with a few fish with my son. Thanks!
Great video, Ryan, I grew up in South Florida, but now living on the Emerald Coast, want u come on over and get on some these monsters over here, we will start with Narvarre and work our way back East,,Thanks for Great content,,STAY SAFE GOD BLESS,,
I AM A BODY BUILDER ALL MY LIFE ! I AM 72 YEARS OLD AND NOW CAME DOWN WITH CANCER ! I WORKED FULL THRODDLE UP UNTIL 70 YEARS OLD , GOING VERY HEAVY AND BATURAL TOO. NOW IAM A SHADOW AND LIFE IS A STRUGGLE. REMEMBER THE DAYS OF YOURYOUTH ...OLD AGE IS A HARDSHIP ! WE ALL MUST DIE....ADAM SAW TO THIS MISTAKE ! ETERNITY IS FOR EVER ! JESUS IS LORD !
Hey Ryan, does that military green line do any better for visibility to the fish than other colors? I have a black VSX 250 I wanted to put black braid on. Would that spook fish? Or do they not care.
Hey Ryan! I have a question and one suggestion. First, the video was amazing and great editing. Question: what was specifically that jig for Pompano? I’m curious about the weight and brand. Thanks! Suggestion: for the Pompano always choose a good virgin olive oil. The one you used is probably a blend and ruins the taste. Good olive oil + coarse salt + pinch of oregano is really good for grilling. You don’t need to flip the fish. Keep the skin downwards and check the meat with a fork until it starts do detach from the skin. During this process you can put some butter with herbs (homemade) on top and it will melt through the meat. Humm I need that 🤗 Another great simple sauce for fish is the beurre noir (might have a lot at RUclips explaining). Aloha bro 🤙🏽
This video hit home man im 31 and miss the simple times getting dropped off at the ponds or getting to go to the lake! Being 4+ hrs from the beach but still miss those times even more especially with my family on the piers and surf !!! The good ole days 😫
We call those Brassy Travelly in Australia. Alot of people mistake them for smaller GT"s but they are not the same thing. A good fighting fish but not great eating they are generally considered a pest when targeting better table fish like Mackeral and Coral Trout etc..
Great video! Her plate was much better. While visiting FL last month I caught my first Pompano while surf fishing at Bonsteel Park. We were staying in an AirBnB that did not have a kitchen so we prepared the pompano as Ceviche and Sushimi. Both were great and I would do it again next time, although I hope to catch enough so I can cook a few also.
I remember when Juneo Pier first opened we used to drive from Deerfield Pier to Juneo pier and in those days what a difference Judo just opened and it was holding billions and billions of bait sure had a lot of good times out there
Your videos are always the highest of quality and made me want to visit Juno pier. Anyway I finally got to make a trip there this past week from ohio and catching a 38 inch Permit off the pier. It put up a hell yeah of fight
I'm born and raised in the Greater Los Angeles Area and it's bizarre seeing people catch nice fish from piers like this! Our oceans here are so polluted and overfished that you're lucky to catch a little stingray from our piers. Trash fish only. SoCal fishing is hugely overrated.
Bro!!! The bleed out is Always much lighter in coloe!! Nearly White white!! But... y'all have GOT to Try Shushimi Pompano!!!! It's Absolutely Amazing!! I'm not even Big on raw fish... but with Pompano??? It's what i Always Do Now!!!!!
Awesome video! I love your content I would love to see you one day on Juno in the summer. I love fishing. You and viktor are my inspirations. What’s the spinning rod you were using
Do you have the reel your rod up when this happens. Would he do the same if someone else was hooked up. Sucks seeing the guys who are just fishing for other stuff having to keep reeling up. There just trying to enjoy a nice day on the pier
Hey Ryan! Huge fan and your YT has inspired me to get back into a long lost hobby I had growing up with my pops. Are you able to explain the setups used when fishing from piers? How do you cast those lures out so far? Is there a weight attached?
I just thought of something brotha, ask if you can bring a grille to the pier to cook. If so then it would make a good video to catch clean and cook from the source when you pier fish.
Awesome vid as always brother. I just sent almost $50 from a seafood place here n MN that overnights there fish for one. Not gonna lie I’m jealous and miss catching them fresh 😁🤗
I myself was also a pier rat from the age of 11 to 19 and I mean every single day I was at the pier spending the night out there spending days and days on end out there one thing I wish is I wish I had a smartphone back then to take all the pictures that got missed

Ohhhh I’ve definitely made some bad ones haha. Look back at some of the 5 year old ones. Pretty cringe worthy
I think catch clean and cook's makes the video I don't know why but to watch y'all cook up your catch just makes it better
