Thanks for the video. If you also have bodice pattern, can you join them directly and form a dress. Or will you need adjustments on the waist?

You can join it at the waist but depending on the waist size, you may need to lower it more

Thanks for the reply. My concern was that pencil skirt patterns curve down to centre front and CB. Whereas bodice blocks aren't, in particular the back pattern.

The pattern doesn't have any allowance. Feel free to add to your fabric
