Amtrak Horn Salute, CSX Train Slams The Diamonds, Amtrak Lets Passenger Off In Lakeland Florida

- Amtrak Arriving & Dropping Passengers Off Next To Me. Amtrak Chase, Station Stop, Then Gives Me A Slight Horn Salute At A Railroad Crossing. CSX Train Slams The Railroad Diamonds & Amtrak Night Train. These trains are in Lakeland, Florida and Plant City, Florida. Includes some alligators and Florida wildlife.
First we see an Amtrak passenger train with a couple of locomotives arriving at Lakeland, Florida. Some passengers get off and some get on before it heads to Tampa. After it stopped at the Lakeland train station I ran ahead of it and caught it a second time at a railroad crossing in town. The engineer gave a slight horn salute. They don't blow the horn here because this is a no train horn zone. I also got Amtrak coming back in the dark, which you will see near the end of the video.
Next we go to the railroad diamonds in Plant City, Florida. Mrs Tooth actually filmed the train slamming the diamonds with my camera. You can see me using her camera at the Railfan platform. I think I already posted my video of the train here but I'm not positive. I still have some more Florida videos to post. We also see some of the wildlife in Florida at one of our favorite parks near Mulberry, Florida.

Your 1st Amtrak train was actually a triple play. Runby. Walkby. Runby a second time for good measure. The CSX Intermodal came up in beautiful golden hour light and the depot platform lights allowed for a good run by inspection. The intensity of that Red block signal. Reflecting off the trailers looked like the scanner at the grocery store. It's nice watching the warmer video today in Wisconsin as it is rainy and the high temperature will be 45 degrees. Watch those gators!

Thank you for uploading this video from your 2023 Florida vacation, Jaw Tooth! You caught some good train videos on 1 March 2023. The Amtrak train coming into and departing from Lakeland, Florida's Amtrak Station was interesting to watch. That Amtrak train had to be one of the Amtrak trains that comes down from New York City. The animal preserve is also an interesting place to see wildlife.

That was cool they gave you a horn salute even tho it was restricted . I gave only ridden on Amtrak on time when i was a kid. It looks like they are making all the paasengers disembark from the same car.

Greetings. Recently took a trip on Amtrak trains in a sitting car from El Paso to Philadelphia, it was cool because of the air conditioning. In general, a very interesting experience, I traveled on Asian, European, and Russian trains.

Back in September of 2017 I had the pleasure of taking the Amtrack California Zephyr RT from Chicago to Emeryville California I had my own room with my own bathroom and it was without a doubt the best trip I’ve ever taken I took hours of video as well as pictures along the way all meals were included and the food was actually pretty good! Amtrack trips usually cost a fortune especially if you book a room but it’s worth it absolutely!

Ive been to Circle B Bar Reserve! Gator was in the middle of the trail with part of its tail missing. We saftey scooted past him within 6-10 inches away. Pretty neat!
That place is really awesome! I will be back there again this winter for sure. Best wildlife park that I have ever seen. If you like alligators it is the place to be

That plane looked like a DC-10. You don't see those too often anymore.
If you look at the tail of the plane you can see a boom for air-to-air refueling making this big boy a USAF KC-10.
The Amtrack Engine should have an American flag on it.
That intermodal was smoking down the tracks! That seems pretty fast considering what a congested area it is. I suppose folks are used to it, but 35-40 mph is fast when you're that close. That wildlife is cool - unique to the swamps and marshes :)
