Coal Train In Florida, Amtrak Slams The Diamonds, CSX Caboose, Trains In Lakeland, Mrs Tooth Videos!

- CSX Mixed Freight Booking Through Downtown Lakeland Florida, Amtrak With Special Locomotive Slams The Diamonds, Coal Train In Plant City Florida & Locomotives Bobbing Up & Down In The City Of Lakeland. Includes Amtrak Train coming and going after picking up passengers. Mrs Tooth filmed all of the trains and wildlife in this video! There is also a Caboose on a local switching freight train.
Having nearly finished her internship Mrs Tooth was put to the test. How did she do? Leave a comment below. This is the first video of trains filmed entirely by her.
First we see a CSX manifest booking through downtown Lakeland, Florida heading east. Jawtooth also filmed this train but from a different angle. All trains in this video were also filmed by JawTooth at different spots and usually on the opposite side of the tracks.
Next we see a CSX freight train in Auburndale, Florida heading toward the diamond. The railroad crossing was closed while the tracks were being replaced.
Then we go to Plant City to watch an Amtrak train booking over the diamonds by the train station. Notice the special locomotive leading the train. It is a 50th anniversary special unit. 160.590
After that we see a big coal train with 3 locomotives in Plant City. It was empty and returning northbound to the coal fields.
Then we return to Lakeland to watch a westbound freight train speeding through town over the No Train Horn Zone railroad crossings. Notice the special Bio Diesel locomotive leading.
Also in Lakeland we see two trains passing. An auto racks train is entering Winston Yard on the west leg of the wye while a short local switcher is passing with a caboose on the rear. 2 men were on the caboose platform so that the train could reverse down the west leg of the wye into Winston Yard.
Finally, we see an Amtrak train arrive at the Lakeland train station. It drops off passengers, loads a few and then heads toward Tampa. Notice that she got the train hitting the horn to alert that it was starting to move. That was cool!
We also see birds, alligators , a tortoise and some other stuff that Mrs Tooth filmed at a couple of wildlife life parks in central Florida.

Lakeland, Florida, where I was born and raised. In the opening scene that low building in the background is where the Railway Express Company office and tracks used to be. It was covered with RR cars and tracks. That entire right-of-way had around three or four tracks running the length of Lakeland through there. Back then it was the Atlantic Coast Line Railroad and the engines I saw as a child were purple and silver. By my teens they were being painted black with yellow trim. I've seen a lot of F-units right there in that location............
Looks like you also visited Highlands Hammock down in Sebring. That looks like Charlie Creek on one of the cat-walks. Thanks for the memories.

WOW at Mrs Tooth giving you a run for best vid's. IMO the CXS trains in Fla & Ga seem run much quieter & smoother without all the excessive squealing of the rails as up in mid west. Love the 2 trains & the auto racks.

Mrs Tooth is in the spirit of vacation and enjoys being a member of the camera crew. Plenty of freight action that first one was a monster with all the scrap metal cars and then a virtual Rock unit train. That's probably the most Amtrak you shot in some time plus a nice catch of the local with the Caboose peeling away from the autorack Train. Why travel all the way to Florida to see the Historic Catwalk when you can see Norfie climb over the computer desk on the JT network

JT, your RUclips channel looks to have doubled its talent :) Looks like you can occasionally take on the role of Director. She captured a very nice Amtrak with a 50th-anniversary engine in the lead. Then she caught a nice rebuild (7507) with all its fresh paint. Next was a nice race between an autorack and a local with a caboose! So, yes, we have another super talent on the JT channel. Hi Jawtooth never mind alligators, have you ever seen a Swiss Crocodile? It's a Locomotive LOL.
Mr. & Mrs. Tooth had a good time. Filmed the CSX train at No horn zone is interesting watching loaded up coke cars in lakeland. now filmed the CSX train at abandoned rail crossing is spectacular. Shooting an Amtrak train going across the diamond while you are on vacation and you both did filled coke train in plant city. the camera catches every CSX local or freight oh geez an Amtrak in Lakeland.
