What would you do when you think no one is watching? What Would You Do? (WWYD?) explores the varying answers with the help of hidden cameras capturing individuals who have been placed within seemingly everyday situation that quickly go awry. The individuals on this hidden camera show are forced to make tough calls when directly faced with situations of racism, violence, hate crimes, and other hot button cultural issues. Catch John Quinones reporting on these individuals as they make split-second decisions to intervene or mind their own business. WWYD? airs Friday nights at 9|8c on ABC.
What Would You Do? (WWYD) is a hidden camera show, hosted by ABC News correspondent John Quinones, in which unknowing bystanders are placed in uncomfortable, and often compromising real world scenarios in public. WWYD’s hidden cameras focus on the average person’s responses and reactions to these issues of social responsibility. Topics such as gay couples being affectionate in public, date rape, racism and racial profiling, interracial couples, abusive parents, drunk driving, and harassment of the homeless are touched upon in this series. What will you do? Would you choose to intervene in these situations? Watch and join the discussion.

Being a gay person in a happy relationship we had the opportunity to adopt within my family, my niece wasn’t fit to raise a child and rather than letting her go we stepped up and took our beautiful babygirl in as our own. As someone who was in the foster care system and was lucky enough to get adopted. I’ll say both my dads are amazing. They supported me throughout my life and are the best parents I could ever wish for. Now this may be hard to hear but as someone who never had a mom, I did envy friends who had the more traditional family. Never felt the embrace of a motherly figure, always wanted that embrace but can’t at this point I’m 18 gotta move on. But in the end what does it matter my parents are the best.

In addition to this typical stays at home does cleaning around the house and has a soft nature. This list goes on I’m not trying to type everything. Basically none of my dads were motherly. They were two guys not traditional guys that knew how to weld fix thing around the house and had tools. I had to learn that all on my own which was a pain since they had zero tools or even basic equipment like a car jack hockey puck, socket and torque wrench. I also had to learn to weld on my own learned on a torch and then got a mig welder.

Exactly. Just cuz you don’t agree with something doesn’t mean you have the right to make anyone else’s life miserable. If this was real that one lady (I can’t remember her name) could have possibly hurt the baby and the couple in the long run. What if the girl actually listened and gave the baby to a straight couple, only for them to abuse the baby? Who says that the gay couple wouldn’t be so discouraged they’d never try to adopt again and they’d be miserable the rest of their lives?? No one knows. I’m not saying that all gay couples are ideal parents cuz they’re HUMAN they’re not PERFECT, but that’s up for the mother to decide. If she thinks that this gay couple is right for her baby that’s HER decision, no one else’s. I’m glad that even tho this guy felt similarly to her he still told her to back off. He recognizes that it’s no one’s business except for the parties involved. I applaud you, good sir.
