Dude, I'm glad you made this video. Absolutely ridiculous that they don't all come with a 6ft bed option. Or a manual transmission option ! And why didn't they leave the V6 as an option for people like me who refuse to pay 50K for an overcomplicated four cylinder.

And that’s exactly why I made this! We will see how it pans out but I am confused why some features are restricted on some trims.

I just want to start off by saying this was a really informative video. Reason I’m even watching this is because I seen someone at the gas station 30 minutes ago in a brand new lifted tundra and it looked pretty rad!
Anyways, I feel like the M/T option should be available in the trailhunter & TRD PRO. I don’t see why Toyota decided not to do that. And as for the length of the bed, that’s kind of ignorant of Toyota for not making the 6ft bed a standard option
in all the higher trims such as the limited, trailhunter (even there’s an option for it) & the TRD pro. Like you said, the sport might be the one that sells the most!

Thank you for the feedback. Informative is what I’m trying to do.
As for the MT question. My opinion is Toyota wants their flagship trim types to be exclusively Hybrid in order to drive up the price point and also push the EV Hybrid future. So if the trailhunter and TRD Pro only have Hybrid, it means they can’t have a MT since MTs are not offered on Hybrids.

Great info. Do you know if a sr5 extracab will have push button start or heated seat options

All Trims have the Push to Start Button. The SR5 has the Heated Seats, but you have to option it in using the Cold Weather package, ~$2,600

Super perplexing. Why have this many models/options if they aren’t configurable? And no hybrid 6ft except a super premium model? Isn’t that the model that most businesses and government fleet buyers would be looking for??

Great point and I thought the same thing. I’m sure there’s some companies out there that drive 1000s of miles a week and would want a 6ft hybrid on the SR. Especially local governments that are mandating hybrid or EV purchases

You're right, gas engine is traditional 4x4

I hate how just trying to option softex onto a TRD OFF-ROAD you have to add an $8k package. SMH.

Going aftermarket would be cheaper. That’s a very pricey move by Toyota
