As even Noel himself has said at times, "NO ONE can rock a parka like 'our kid'" & when you combine this with his amazing voice, that 'hands-behind-the-back' posture while singing & his (primarily) phenomenal Pretty Green kit of his (esp' the Ventile 'Made In England' range of parkas that they released), it's all fookin' WOW!!
Liam and Noel were just along for the ride.. bonehead was the star of the show, he was oasis.. all about the bonehead !
This is one of their very best though.
This video is brilliant because it evokes and shows something every young Oasis fan has felt several times in their lives: you hear Liam blasting out those verses and imagine yourself being the cool guy in the parka who can enchant everyone at the gig easily, no matter where you're from, even from the other side of the world

I absolutely love this music video. The grain and raw cut footage makes it feel like a true rock n roll music video. Also love how the main guy is just imaging its him the whole time.
Couldn't agree more. I use the same technique for singing karaoke. When I'm up, I channel whoever the artist is. It brings out more energy and the performance is better.

The Masterplan is an amazing b-side album!!! I liked all songs.

It cannot be one of their most inderreted album just because it is not an album. It's complications of B-sides.
I find b-side/compilations albums to be better then most bands proper albums. Nirvana's Incesicide and Smashing Pumpkins - Pisces Iscariot are also amazing.

In the 90s I had a cassette with recorded songs from oasis. No need to say it was very low-fi audio compared to modern standards. However for some reason, it was PERFECTION for Oasis songs, it was like a synergic double wall of sound, I hope I could grab back those recordings

This video is so natsukashii for me. I lived in Japan from 1994-1998. I had a chance to cross the street where they show in the video at the beginning. If I remember it’s right outside the JR train station. Such an awesome experience getting to live there.
Can you imagine having so many good songs and B Sides in the 1994-96 period that you leave the whole of the Masterplan album off your first two albums because you don't want the B Sides on the album. Flawless👌

Liam would have to apologize for the things he said about Noel's missus and kids, and for throwing a guitar at him, and Noel would have to forgive Liam. They both are very proud men, so neither seems particularly likely, unfortunately. I'd really like them to reunite as I didn't get to see them live when they were together.

One of their best songs, it got me into them, I was casually listening to the radio and it blew me away
I never though I'd need Japanese Oasis in my life, but this video has proved otherwise.

圧倒的に影の薄いサイドギターとベース(二人とも人は良さそう)、ドラムはオリジナルメンバーと比べるとテクニックで少々一目置かれてる感じ(これもまぁ映し方ですが)が伝わって最高です。最後のギター同士のアイコンタクトはカッコいい！
ネット上では「ダサい」と言われてる感じですが、これを「カッコいいよねー」「わかるわかる」と語れる人と仲良くなりたいです。

Everything about it is amazing. The video , the lyrics, the music, the vocals it all comes together. I though NG said it's the one who defines Oasis music. This song is easily my favorite tune of them. It's a gem of a tune.

Definitely one of Oasis's best early songs, it's a fkn classic and brings back good memories.
For me this is the best song they ever did. The song in general is great. But as Noel said in an interview, Acquiesce symbolises what Oasis was and what it stood for. And mostly because of the way they used both of their talented voices together to make something just biblical
