    Nice! Before the Albacore left southern California, I used to do very well with green and black feathers. I tried lots of colors, many did work, but for me, green and black always performed well here, jet heads were simply a bonus. Keep fishing!

    I find that tuna love the colors green/yellow so I like using green/yellow skirts when targeting tuna.

    Hi mark , I’m from England living in the south south f the Philippines, I’m 40 and always fished for fun but my dream is to retire here but a boat and become a tuna fisherman , I have no idea what to do or where to start , how far of coast I would need to fish or even where to find them , but it’s famous for large tuna where I live , any advice would be great 👍

    Hey. Great video. What do you do to avoid the many different lines from tangling together? alot of the times that ive tried trawling with numerous lines i always ended up having the lines tangling together...

    • @MarkCotton
      @MarkCotton  2 года назад

      Cheers mate when we hook up we keep the boat in gear and wind the other lures to a few meters out back then someone fights the fish while the others pull in the gear. also, tuna go straight down so they don't cross other lines ever really

    Great video Mark, I've got to try this! Quick question - what do you do to the fish when you catch it? Do you bleed it, or spike it? Or just put it on the ice?

    Great video. How do your lines not get tangled with each other? Mine keep getting tangled. Also I assume your rig is just lure and line, no weights, right?

    • @MarkCotton
      @MarkCotton  Год назад

      no weights mate just keep the boat going as the tuna head straight down
