Anyone know if the Ahyris piece loosens. I assume this is how you adjust the temple height but I don't want to try until I know it's possible. Strangely I can't find any info elsewhere. Thanks

Will the saddle bridge slide off your nose with increased sweat/oil on the eyeglasses? Just don't want to worry about pushing them up constantly.
Hi Jeremiah! There is a chance they can slip down your nosebridge if you get sweaty. We would recommend going for model with Unobtainium nosepads if you are concerned about grip. Check out the Portal X: www.sportrx.com/oakley-portal-x.html
Trust me, these are pretty useless in the current design. Don’t invest in Apparitions if you don’t want to constantly keep pushing them up or have them slide off your face!

Hi there! The Apparition does fit Rob too! The flexible spring hinge definitely caters to the wider heads out there. They eyeglass version is offered in two sizes, 53 and 55 mm lens width.
Are the 55 size exactly the same in both versions besides the colors?

Do you know of any grippy temple sleeves that are available for these?
Unfortunately replacement temple grips are not available for this model from Oakley.
Try Amazon - cheap silicon inch long sleeves: not the best looking but they’re partially stopping mine from slipping until Oakley address the issue!
The only flaw on these glasses is that they easily fall off your face if you turn your head too fast or if you look down if you are picking up stuff off the ground. They get very annoying after a while. I have to keep pushing up on my nose bridge every 10 seconds. I had to buy a wrap around my neck to keep them from falling.
Hi Jose! Thanks for your honest feedback. It is true that the Apparition lacks Unobtainium grip on the nosepads and temple arms. You can always check out the Targetline or Portal X in the future!
Try bending the temple tips so they wrap a little bit tighter around your head. Just picked up a pair yesterday and was having the same problem. Bending the temple tips helped substantially.
Wish I realised there was a review of these Apparition glasses! Spent more money (than sense?) because they were amazing in the store, worth the £400 for frames and specialist lenses. First day of heatwave = perspiration today and off they go, sliding down my face!? Can’t rely on these for my eyesight or the chance they lose to gravity.
Now tell me there’s no solutions...
OriginalHandprint Add to say miss you with my apparition glasses. The way I solve that problem was to buy those glasses rope straps that attached to the arms of the sunglasses. They sell them at sporting good stores. It’s it’s like a rope that you tie at each end of the arm and you can use it as a necklace kind of when you’re not using your sunglasses on your eyes. Hope that makes sense or at least try to help out
Jose Reyna Amazon had the solution - slide on silicon sleeves. Don’t look good aesthetically but they stay on my face better. Still have to push them up sometimes!

I have these and they just keep sliding down my nose, also fog up a lot which sucks because they’re so nice 😫
Hi! Any lens without an Anti Fog coating will have a tendency to fog especially in humid environments. We do offer an Anti Fog coating for customized Rx lenses to pair with the Apparition! Yes, a number of users have reported the sliding issue with this particular frame due to the lack of unobtanium (rubber) accents. Makes for a great lifestyle frame, but not the best option for sports/activities.

Hello! It's a great athleisure frame that could be used for some activities thanks to the adjustable temples that bend behind the head for more staying power, but for intense sports you'll want a frame with more grip like the Flak 2.0 xl or Plazma models.
