I was born in 1966 and I've been going to rock concerts for over 36 years !! This was by far one of the best shows I have been to. SKILLET ABSOLUTELY KILLED IT that night. I was truly blessed to be there!!! I could feel the bass drum in my chest-just awesome !! Thank you Jesus !!
It was great! I was there with my son who is at his 3rd year at Liberty. 4th time seeing Skillet, but I could feel the bass and Jens kicks on the bass drum in my chest! LOVE Johns preaching before Surviving The Game!

I got to sit in the front row, which has been a dream of mine since I first saw them in the sixth grade. Also got one of Jen's drumsticks! I couldn't ask for a better concert!
You can go see them again on the Winter Jam tour there's no tickets only $10 at the door it will sell out because it's only $10 at the door you can buy your tickets ahead of time to reserve a seat so when it sells out you still have that ticket for that seat

I was there (it was my first rock concert). Absolutely loved it.
I absolutely love Jen's drumming style! As a female drummer, Jen has always been a huge inspiration for me and I even got to meet her when I was 14. It was super encouraging for her to remind me "Don't worry about how good you are. There will always be someone who thinks you're not technical enough, or not as good as them. Just have fun with it." That's definitely the best drumming advice I've received, as long as you enjoy it that's what's important. This has stuck with me, and helped me to see drumming as a form of expression and less as a technical formula that needs to be followed in order to gain the approval of a random dude who thinks they could do it better. Of course technicality is important, but by not prioritizing you end up learning it as a byproduct of not worrying about it and letting yourself enjoy it.
I hate people who judge a drummer by technicality. Some drummers ruin good songs by being too technical. It’s about rhythm and feel. It’s easy to lose the feel by trying to be too technical. That really was the best advice she could have given you.
I love it when John gets all close with John and Seth is just absolutely shredding and John is like “THAT’S WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT BUD!”

I have been listening to rock for 40 years and I had never heard them, by chance I saw them on a social network and I fell in love with their band and their music, what an excellent band

This was my first concert, cant beleive how loud it was
I was there too and after the sheer sound ruffled my shift sleeves I pulled out my decibel meter app on my iphone and measured a peak of 121.8 decibels!! This was over maybe 3 songs so there may have been a louder peak than that over the night. And it was clean and undistorted sound too. Totally amazing, what an awesome show.
Yeah definitely should be wearing earplugs so you don’t ruin your hearing

I was there with my daughter for CFAW. She'll be starting school there Fall 2022. We were about 8 rows up from the floor in the center rear. Second time to see them for both of us. Awesome, as always!

Edit: just got back from winter jam…if you ever have the opportunity to see Skillet you better take it. This band sounds phenomenal Live. RUclips Videos definitely don’t do it justice. Go see them in person!

Man, even Skillet uses backing tracks. I guess everybody does now. Too bad bands cant do it live anymore. At 13:50 on "Sick of it" we hear Jens voice but she's not at the microphone. I didnt watch the whole show, but what I did watch is really good. Except for the fake singing.
In this dark times, the people of god are The Resistance, never surreender to the evil!!!
Marathon runner should try this even without singing, just move like them, where they get the power from? I would die by the end of concert.
How loud was this show live
I was there and measured a peak of 121.8 decibels (!) on my iPhone with the “Decibel-X” app. And that was across three just songs so there may well have been a louder peak. And it wasn’t just loud but it was also very clean with tons of bass. The mix was perfect.
Nita Strauss would fit in perfectly with this band!
