The contrast between the super organized Nerissa Debut and the all over the place FuwaMoco Debut is quite funny. Both fun to watch and didn't bore me for the entire debut duration.
Both debuts were great and showed us a lot of what they have to offer. Nerissa's got some spice to her and has an amazing voice. Honestly enjoy how straightforward she is. It'll be interesting to see what genres she chooses to go with for future covers and to see what kinds of streams she'll be doing. FUWAMOCO brings a whole new energy to hololive with the energy and the passion and the--MOTHER OF GOD THAT'S A LOT OF GOALS AND DREAMS. It's like Koyori-levels of ambition and drive but it's two of them. This is gonna be great. These three crushed their debuts and all five are gonna be great to watch.
I remember back when Holo EN first debuted with Shork & the gang. I've watched each new EN generation of hololive and holostars since then but mannnnnnnnn I am excited for this one. Shiori is the exact kind of person I love watching.
Numbers of Kanji in common use are 2136, so if you can read about 2000 Kanji, it means you can read most of letters used in Japan. Some of JP members might be able to understand Kanji less than 2000...
You might be able to read them individually, but that doesn't mean you can read japanese, and that's not what makes japanese hard. What makes jp hard is the vocab. Think of vocab as combinations of kanjis, and for each vocabulary word, there's a good chance that the same kanji will have a different reading. An example would be 初めまして and 初歩. Here the kanji 初 is read as "haji" for the first vocab and it's read as "sho" for the second one. Some kanjis can have many readings, and that's what makes it so hard to remember them sometimes
What has me hyped the most is Nerissa's singing. I've been following her previous work for years, so I know what the new fans are in for. She's absolutely going to be EN's version of Suisei. Hololive struck gold with this one. Edit: I won't say the name because of how crazy some of the fans get about the whole past lives thing. But I will say that she's one of the most famous English cover singers on RUclips, and has been doing this for a long time. In fact, there's a good chance you've heard her sing before, especially if you love city pop. The algorithm will spoil it for you soon enough.
Looking forward to Calliope and Nerissa collab or singing original song together haha. Their characters matched its like Calli with the bros Gura and Kronii vibes haha. Also Calli yeet FuwaMoco hahaha.
