Was absolutely stoked to see Nolan's follow-up movie The Prestige when it came out the next year (2006). That movie seems to finally be getting the recognition it deserves.

Why are the voice overs for Nolan so bombastic and annoying? lol it's like someone went out of their way to make them as outlandish as possible
Batman Begins brought super hero movies to the forefront in a way that they hadn't been before. It forced everybody to up their game when making super hero movies. The MCU would not have been what it was without the Dark Knight Trilogy that came before it.
It's only that important by proxy. The Dark Knight is the movie that changed the game. Or if we really wanted to argue about it, none of this would be possible at all if the singularity at the center of our universe didn't expand for 13.7 billion light years. Personally, I give all credit to the butterflys.
Seeing all 3 dark knight films today in theaters back to back to back for Batman day!!!!

im so glad Killian Murphy played scarecrow instead of batman. he did such an awesome job with it and i can't think of another actor who could pull off such an unorthodox character like that.
I agree. But as much as I hate to admit it (since I don't like the guy or his music) I think Marilyn Manson would've done a good job if he got the role.

Batman begins released in the last 5 years would have broken every box office record. Well, sort of, because it's one of the reason superhero movies are everywhere nowadays. Thank god it came before iron man.

Yeah batman begins, sam raimi’s spiderman and the first ironman set the gold standard for superhero movies, being a kid in the early 2000’s must’ve been a nice experience

"Now we're two". One of my most favorite lines from any comic book movie. Right up there with Bane's response to "You're a big guy" ... "For you".
There's an audio cut at 0'35, we've lost a sentence, half a sentence or more - impossible to tell.
Movie should have gotten 'Lord of the Rings ' accolades and Oscar results,Mr. Bale should have gotten Best lead actor for playing duel roles itself not easy. Thanks
