- After a rough cold and an even rougher stomach bug, our house was in need of some serious deep cleaning. Here are the steps I took to clean things up. Anything I missed? How do you clean books? Leave comments and feedback down below. Thanks for watching.
Changing toothbrushes after sickness is super important too! Sometimes people forget that part.
First time viewer!! I love how honest you are! I had never seen a speed clean after illness/ such a good idea!!
Bleach is king and queen and god when stomach bugs are on the wind
I love how real you are! 💗 29 week FTM here and loving your videos as I get ready for delivery.
Congrats on your pregnancy! Wishing you a happy and healthy delivery!
You're hilarious 😆
You are prettt💕💕
Hilarious! Great video! Blessings!
So sorry you had to go through that! Thanks for sharing your sanitizing tips!
That’s a good question! We never wash our books after an illness. My son has only been sick twice. Thank the heavens above! & both sicknesses only lasted for him, 24hrs. We use Thieves cleaner on EVERYTHING!! We also diffuse Thieves to clean the air in our home. It seems to work for us.
I spied a Fly Lady toilet brush! :) love her and love your channel!
Wowww exact same thing that happened to my entire family coughing ear infection then stomach flu 😭😭😭😭 can’t wait until their baby immune systems are better and they understand why sanitation is so important 🤣I’m doing laundry too and my outfit looks like I pulled it out of a trash can 😭😭
You are beautiful without makeup
You are my sanitize routine twin 😂😂. I usually google the potential germs from whatever illness and see how long they live in surfaces and then take the items that can’t be sanitized and put them away for however long that is. My family thinks that I’m a freak but I tell them that they did not spend two years of their life getting an RN degree and have not worked in a hospital for ten plus years, therefore I am the expert on this subject and they are not 😂😂.
I love your videos
Girl your beautiful shut yo face ! Lol thanks for all the tips !
Bleach is a MUST for a stomach bug anyway. Other natural cleaners are fine for ordinary germs but stomach bugs require Lysol or Hydrogen Peroxide.
I typically use vinegar. But if i need to sanitize or disinfect, then I use H2O2. 🙂
My oldest was sick for her first time at 16 months old.
Something I just became aware of- splashless bleach and scented bleach DO NOT DISINFECT/SANITIZE and are not intended for this. I always just thought bleach is bleach, but it's not.
Wendy Nellis so then what bleach actually sanitizes??
@@anilovesme Regular bleach- it will actually say germicidal or disinfecting on the front (for clorox brand). Read the back of the bottle- it will have the directions for the intended uses and will state if it will disinfect or not.
Ick! This was so helpful! Currently 23 weeks with my first successful pregnancy and feel like I'm getting a crash course lol! I actually got norovirus a few years ago after spending time with my baby cousin who had been exposed at a friend's party. If I've already had it, will I get it again if my baby picks it up?
Amaretta Wright Yeah you can cause it will be a different strain
I've heard just plain ol' Clorox or Lysol wipes don't kill norovirus or rotavirus, but hydrogen peroxide does? I found some hydrogen peroxide based Clorox wipes on amazon and I use those on shopping carts during flu season and hydrogen peroxide at home especially on surfaces that can't handle bleach well. Just make sure to wear gloves so you're not burning yourself. Love this video though. We have the same practices of wiping everything down after sickness. And during flu season I try to clean toys every week and/or every time some one visits. Humans are gross lol.
2:18 killed baby fever in 99.9% of people lol not me I'm in healthcare...😂
