Blon has seriously nailed the design of the V1. It looks and feels premium.
These type of transparent circuit board design makes me remember Questyle M15 series. Good review Dave.
For $41 you get dual outputs, replaceable USB cable, 160mW clean power and a nice design. We're at the peak of dongle madness.
And for $29 you get double the power with the same internals from the Fiio KA11
I've been sitting on the fence re another dongle DAC (I have the somewhat ancient Fiio BTR3, now a ridiculous price downunder thanks to inflation). Doing the conversion to AUD, you've sold me ......

I love my Onix Alpha, got it for around 85 dollars around 2 months ago.
It seems to be difficult to find a bad dongle among the new ones coming out. Still rocking my Dawn Pro.
Tempotec Sonata BHD claimed to has 280mW via its BAL port.
During SALE, can get it for under USD33.
i prefer Sonata BHD over Moondrop Dawn Pro.
Think that pop is a dealbreaker to me. But if they fix that, this looks fantastic!

Moondrop's QC suck, dawn pro broke on me after just 2 months
The open design is risky and users need to act accordingly.
How did you measure that this DAC makes music brighter? Are there measurements confirming the higher treble?
