Congrats on the 1k! Now the big bucks start rolling in! 😂 I’ve seen you have a few good scores on ps4 as I crawl up the leaderboard. Really like your vids
Haha, I'm not monetized right now but I'm sure I'll eventually enjoy getting those Absolutely Huge Monies for niche shmup videos 😌 I really like how the new M2 port has a separate leaderboard for every mode and ship type. Often you have the best players just dominating the top, but here you can get a decent ranking just by exploring the less played modes and ships.
Ah, I thought it was at at 1k. Maybe hold off putting your name down at the Lamborghini showroom then! Hopefully you enjoy doing them tho, as I have picked up a few things from your vids.
You're right about the 1K subs, but there's also a watch time threshold. So keep watching those vids 😈 really I'm just grateful that people enjoying this stuff and I try to keep this fun and sustainable for myself.
For me, laser cancels were the key to this mode, as with proper routing you can circumvent a lot of the dodging. If you can do Arrange L, I don't think is quite as big a jump in difficulty as it may seem at first. Good luck!
Thanks for watching! For Daioujou, BL 1-Round Mode clear is something I'm considering as a long term plan. For shmups in general, I have Akai Katana and Blue Revolver installed and ready to play, so maybe those.
@@hazylevels Nice! I bought Akai Katana when it released on X360, but never ended up giving it a ton of time. I've been considering picking up the Steam port in hopes I'd actually spend some time with it's multiple modes, all of which look interesting.
thanks for the content, and jenny hval was a great recommendation, too. i love her music. btw these bigger patterns like on boss 3 seem to be much easier with a stick. for me at least. the micrododging, not so much. then again, maybe i should get the seimitsu ls 40 instead of the ls56 which i use atm? maybe i then can finally get a 1cc. i could, if i stick with one game for longer, like i once did with esprade, and i was close. so if you need another motivation and passion to get deeper into shmups, and in another way, to switch it up so to speak, try it and report please, if you do :) much love
If by switching up you mean playing with a stick, then yes, that's something I think about from time to time. I actually started out with stick, but eventually drifted to pad as I just seemed to get better results with it. From what I understand, the 8BitDo stick that I have can be modded with quality parts, but I've just been lazy about doing the research and figuring out what lever etc would be the best for me, haha. I'll be sure to talk about it on the channel if I end up going back to stick! And awesome to hear that about Jenny Hval 😊💛
Pad player here ✌️ I use the stock DualShock on PS4 and 8BitDo 2.4g controllers on PC. My early clears were done with a stick and it's fun to play with one, but I just do way better with a gamepad.

Great job! Enjoying your commentary.
Thanks for watching!
I really appreciate this sort of commentary, so please keep it up!
That's awesome to hear, thanks for watching!
Congratulations on the run! Love your ddp/doj content! Thank you!
Thanks for the support as always!
This mode is still intimidating for me, maybe I should give it some more practice. Love the commentaries as always!

That's impressive 😮😮😮
Also, the Stage 4 music makes me feel badass.
Hey hazy! An impressive run. I really like your style and commentary on video games. Keep it coming 👌
Thanks, glad to hear to it!
Excited waiting for the game to arrive. Thanks for the fix! So much cancel...
Hope your order arrives soon! Don't cancel it 😉
I enjoy the music of every hazy level in here. ❤
Yes, the new music is really good!
Stage 4 especially is very catchy 👌
nice run, congratulations!
Thanks!
Great run, and I really enjoyed the commentary. What are your plans for next shmups (or modes) to tackle?

Hi Hazy, curious to what input method you use? Pad or stick etc
Pad player here ✌️ I use the stock DualShock on PS4 and 8BitDo 2.4g controllers on PC. My early clears were done with a stick and it's fun to play with one, but I just do way better with a gamepad.
