- Hey everyone, it's Brandon here!👨✈️ Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 is launching on November 19th for PC and Xbox Series S & X, and I’ve got all the crucial details right here! Whether you're a seasoned sim-pilot or just starting, this video covers the biggest features, aircraft lineup, pricing, and more. Let’s dive into what makes MSFS 2024 an exciting leap forward for the franchise, with all the mentioned changes and up to 125 aircraft out of the box.
My top tip! Try out MSFS 2024 on the Xbox Gamepass for just £1 in the UK, then £10-15/month (a very similar price in USD). A great way to test the waters before making the leap!
Pre-order MSFS2024 now on the Microsoft Store, with Steam coming soon.
A big thanks for the exclusive footage courtesy of @twotonemurphy! Check out his video here: • MSFS 2024 | Your Quest...

Would be nice if Microsoft let us 2020 owners upgrade for a cheaper price.
We get the planes from the old premium deluxe or deluxe versions if u only buy the standard
@@strangegoat7382 is that confirmed?
@@kanemorgan7420 yes its on the msfs website faq
@@kanemorgan7420no it’s incorrect, things like the 787 and the citation longitude are still part of premium deluxe in MSFS2024. No idea where the other person got that information from. The aircraft list has been released so you can see everything.
I have standard in msfs 2020 and I get the Cessna 172 skyhawk, which I like flying, but it’s available for the deluxe version.
MSFS24 and Planet Coaster 2 are the two games that I'm rexcited for.
I hope control options like keybindings will save and transfer to MSFS2024 🙏🏼
I don’t know if they’ll transfer over (hopefully they will), but all controls that work with MSFS2020 now will work with 2024!
I'm not sure if key bindings will transfer from 2020. I know it will have pretty much the same default bindings as 2020. But confirmed from Sebatian Vloch, CEO of Asobo, in an interview saying 2024 will have the ability to have custom profiles for each plane and you can copy and port over bindings to other aircraft. It sounded like each plane will automatically select the profile you created for it when you start a flight. as well as importing and sharing key binding profiles to other players and from developers.
Fantastic video. You explained everything someone would want to know.
That’s great to hear! Glad you enjoyed :)
I probably will get it for Christmas.
Cant wait to see how the replay mode works on Xbox
@@OneAviation tbh I don’t mind how it is I’m just glad we have it
Where did you hear this?? I thought they said Xbox wouldn’t be getting a reply system
@@lsubesteva Aaron and Microsoft confirmed it
@@OneAviationnice!!! I haven’t seen or heard anything about it other than it wouldn’t be on Xbox! I’m very excited for this! Time to get my editing skills up! I will be cinematic videos for Xbox
@@lsubesteva same here!
I think pmdg are working on a 747-400 which is probably why there isnt a standard one in the new sim
should i get the $200 version or the premium deluxe
@@EastBloxYT premium deluxe, the planes besides 707 are kinda pointless + you can just port those planes over (on aviator)
Premium Deluxe
Still finding it hard to decide which version I should go for, and I might have to upgrade my RAM (it's just 16GB)
So there is nothing left that you need to wonder about. All questions have been answered in this video.
Excellent! 🤣
So a big unanswered question is if you set your rolling cache to let’s say 1TB, how well will the sim perform since the data may not be written as efficiently to your SSD compared to 2020. They have not been asked any questions on what kind of stress testing has performed on 2024 for both software, network and server side.
@@JDVVV378 im really hoping we can still manually cache photogrammetry that we want
Exciting times my friend 👍
Can't wait!
Sir I have a laptop Rtx 3050ti and 8gb ram will Msfs 2024 run
Do we get liveries off the bat or do we get them from pmdg centre
All I needed to learn was that I'd need a new PC that can run the durn thing. Mine no longer meets even the new minimums for 2024. Oh well...
I'll be a 'day-1' premium deluxe buyer. $169 cad is the same as I paid for the premium deluxe version of msfs 2020. Is there going to be opportunities for beta testers before the release?
@@unsupervised-sb8fo yes!
I want draw distance LOD as it was in 2020 PRE SU5.
So sick of it how it looks.
I think it’s a lot of money for little incremental benefit.. especially considering we made an investment into mfs2020 and its ecosystem
@@novemberkilo277 incremental? Lol. It looks significantly better.
Amazing
I would just like to know if windscreen wipers work, as in they wipe the rain away and not just move and ignore the raindrops on the screen;)
@@vangoghoff5521 yes
They don’t work unfortunately.
Lol, which is it? I can wait but it's the first thing I will be checking ;)
Yay!!! They definitely do work, I just asked them on Twitch!
Please is there AI Realistic liveries? 😢😢
There is!!
Still no Dash 8👎🏿
Its sales will fail because the problems of 2020 have not been solved yet
I have gone back to xplane 12
I think you are the only person that doesnt want to buy it 😮
Another xplane clown not realising 2020 best xplane by miles and 2024 will bury it permanently
Which problems? Explain?
I can not see any Problem anymore on MSFS. It works totally fine!
Why all streamers came to MSFS cause its a completely good Simulator now with nice Study Planes :)
@@newgeorgexci Airports are unrealistic, incomplete and have problems
Planes are unrealistic flight physics
Traffic liveries
Stuttering problems especially when connecting to vatsim
Firsst
Thanks for stopping by!
What happens to FS2020? Do you update 2020 with 2024 and the update removes un-needed installed data or do you uninstall 2020 and then just install 2024?
They are two separate games, nothing to do with each other
Unlike the majority of people, I will not be buying on day one like the pleb masses until/unless I see through others, that ai traffic and atc has been properly implemented. If not, I will stick with 2020 as I have no interest in career mode or any of the other gimmicks and new features.
@@trin162 New physics and nature environment: "nah, we just nothing"
Load in times!
Definitely won’t be perfect
Same here 👍
@@jobi6296Your knowledge is Very Low. Most of the game will get streamed from cloud. Resulting in faster loading times
Asobo/Inibuilds aircraft do nothing for me and I unlike most, learn from the past. If=when 3rd party devs produce new aircraft with proven accurate physics and sounds, then cool but if FSX, P3D and MS2020 are anything to go by, I have little faith that these default aircraft have true to life physics.
Yeah it’s a simulator obviously it’s not gonna be exactly like real life, if you want something so true to life just go fly a real plane and if you can’t stop complaining, these developers put a lot of work into their products just for flight sim elitists like you just to dismiss them just because the plane stalls at 150 knots instead of 149. Get off your high horses buddy and just accept it’s a game and won’t be exactly like real life.
@@treighknapp5323Facts 🙏
Thanks for the video. One question though, what happens to my current flight log, can it be imported from FS2020 to FS2024?
That outro was perfect. You should keep that as your outro
Getting it for myself on my birthday. 😊 (11/19) lol
🎉😊
shared cockpit and real weather radar integrated for the fenix?
What does it mean to install an add on locally?
Locally means that the data is stored on your computers hard drive as apposed to MS storing the data and you streaming it.
What about multiple monitor support
I just hope the sim will be more stable. MSFS 2020 just crashes randomly a few hours into a flight and there are stutters 100% of the time if the sim even makes it into approach.
@@A1cJ121 I think thats a problem with your PC
@@A1cJ121 - it’s a massive issue with 2020. Yes let’s hope 2024 is stable and optimised.
Its not the Simulator, its the pc. Maybe Lossless Scaling from Steam can help you to fix it or buy a new pc :)
Msfs improved a lot! No stutters anymore no ctds…
@@newgeorgexci - thanks for the advise, but we will have to agree to disagree. The game is a broken mess and the coding is terrible.
It’s been getting progressively worse and worse since launch.
Im on a budget but i do vatim. What dothink is the best version as i dont have the cash to buy lots of addions
I was wondering if given the new wake turbolence physics, ATC will allow for takeoff and landing separation, or there will be any improvement at all compared to the existing one.. that quite frankly it’s kinda poor.
It’s a very good point, I imagine this will be programmed in as there’s such focus on it!
It's going to be dead-on expensive & overpriced it's possible i will buy it on Christmas.
@@CubeAtlantic I don’t think it will be on sale this Christmas mate
Good update
