You guys are PROS. And not just that, but you seem passionate about your craft and want to do things right. I wish we had people like you in our area in Texas. A lot of people here in my area cut corners, not educated enough or just don't care enough to do it right.
I don’t believe in cutting corners and doing crappy work if somebody is willing to pay me for doing the job properly I am more than willing to do so I hate people at cut corners and I have lots of videos on people like that. Thank you for your comment. I appreciate you, if I was in Texas, I would help you
Painting anything is relaxing for the soul lol besides looking better then before. When you have a partner you can work with to make good times go by any jobs are great ones even the toughest jobs. You just can't wait to work again. RESPECT TO YOU BOTH. Love your educational videos.👍👍👍👍
Drew your advice about grinder use saved my 69 year old body when doing my bathroom floor. Thanks. When i did my exterior I removed the metal siding repaired structure and insulated where needed then covered the outside walls with 3/8th plywood glued and screwed making it air tight and strong then replaced the same siding. love the channel
EP DM is fine like it is the homeowner wanted to go with the white two number one lighten it up and number to cool it down. It makes a big difference in temperature.
Can you put this stuff directly on metal roof as well ?of course having the rubber is the proper way but I wouldn’t mind doing every 5-8 years ?is that do own mobile homes are not wealthy and every dollar counts . Thks drew
Paul only reason why we used the three eights now is because it was a smooth surface. If it were a mobile home with a rough surface, I would’ve used a three-quarter nat The three-quarter net will get down into the grooves of a mobile home roof. We didn’t have to worry about that on this particular job. When I do a mobile home Cool Seal, I always use three-quarter nat
Off-topic question.....I need your help with a debate I'm having. I say it's not necessary to put blocking under the subfloor joints that have tounge and groove as the tongue and groove support the floor between joist, making it unnecessary to put blocking. Am I correct ? Or does even the tongue and groove joints require blocking? Thank you. 😊
Should I do this to the two areas I have rubber on my roof on my house? The one rubber is two years old but the other patch I have no idea how old it is. Also my whole two car garage attached to the house is all rubber roof and doesn’t look like anybody has done anything to it before I bought it. So it’s gotta be at least 10-20 year old rubber but it looks like it wearing and needs some attention. Maybe I’ll call you one day for advice cause I really wanna take care of the rubber roof especially on my garage cause I have no idea how old it is and it looks like it’s really aging.
@@Drewsroofingandhomerepair I don’t know how I missed this comment I was looking back like hmmm it’s weird he never answered me….RUclips is weird dude! I’ll def call you soon cause I need advice on my rubber roof
Also people who put this or something like it on shingles makes it look white to. Maybe one day a video can be done on mobile shingles. They done one in my mobile home park. Looks like snow but boy does it stand out.
I would never recommend putting cool seal or any other product on top of shingles. It will rock the plywood trust me a Naber near me did it and he ended up having to replace his entire roof moisture buildup underneath rotted all his plywood, then it started leaking everywhere.
drew i really like this video i plan to use this on a manufacured home metal roof
You will not be disappointed

Definitely having somebody working next to you that you’re not complaining is a plus
Great video brother thank you for clarifying that they didn't do my roof the right way
Unfortunately, not everybody does it right if you don’t clean the roof surface first your new product will never stick
@@Drewsroofingandhomerepair I knew that he wasn't doing it right but I'm not certified so I couldn't tell him he was doing it wrong

Thank you friend
Is this something that I will need to do years from now? Is this something normally done?
If you have a black roof like this. It’s a good idea to do it as soon as it’s installed
@@Drewsroofingandhomerepair you did my roof in RI😁
I bet this will help save a small fortune on A/C bills
O yes
Can you tell me what would be a good lubricate to recondition a slideout seal on a camper?
Lithium grease. He comes in a spray can
@@Drewsroofingandhomerepair Thanks...Will try it
Why are you doing a coating over the EDPM ?
That's my question.I thought epdm was good to go
EP DM is fine like it is the homeowner wanted to go with the white two number one lighten it up and number to cool it down. It makes a big difference in temperature.
It made a difference in the temperature of the roof
I'd fall
SO YOU PUTH THE 1ST COAT ON LIGHT AND THEN COME BACK WITH THE REGULAR THICKNESS ON THE SECOND. DID NOT KNOW THAT.
Yes, that is exactly what I would do nice solid, thin coat let it sit 24 hours put the heavy coat on the next

Yes as long as no mood or mildew is up there
Drew, I think you should be using a larger roller 😉

No blocking t and g no
You won the debate. Tongue and groove takes care of itself.
