- Hey everyone welcome back to another video! Today we are going over the review and tuning of my new handheld tuner from Diablosport the InTune i3 programmer! Although it has many features such as tuning your vehicle, checking for trouble codes, data logging, etc. I wanted it to also disable the AFM/DOD on the car so I no longer have to worry about the car going into 4 cylinder mode. Another month (Canada) and my M7 comes out of storage. Good call removing afm, i had lifter failure in mine the first time i put it in V4 manually and had to buy a new motor. Purchases this intune for my '16 Denali 6.2 to disable. Did you ever try out the canned 91 tune on the vette? Running it in my denali and considering adding a license and doing it on my vette
I haven't tried that tune unfortunately so I could not tell you
I saw that Diablo Sport makes a few tuners for the Vette. What made you choose the Intune over the Predator or the other ones they offer? I’d like to find something for my C7 also.
I liked the way the Itune looked because of the touch screen mainly and having such a small design I wanted something smaller, both can tune and clear codes but user friendly for the itune was my main thing and making sure AFM was an option to disable was a must and both the predator and itune can do it.

Did you try the shift points in the tune? And if so did it make a difference when u did a first shift?
I honestly didn't try any shift points, I only used it to take off the AFM and use it incase any CEL came on.

@@KelvindeWolfe I think it does, I have mine dyno tuned so I can't check to see if it does
I’m trying to get long tube headers , I know it’ll throw the CEL after I done that. I know I need a tune to get rid of that CEL , would this help remove it?
I think only a dyno tune will help remove it permanently, it may come back with a hand held
Does it provide any performance boost without having to do manual tuning?
It does but idk how much, this is an old video, I no longer have that anymore
Do you feel the power difference with a tune?
I can't say that I feel a huge difference at all to be honest but it is a good little unit, now once I added the ported throttle body and throttle controller I could tell a big difference in response.
Install mines this morning, car crank up off timing like crazy.

Yea man, my car was shaking and chopping and had reduce engine power warning popped up .. Maybe the tuner is not compatible with 17 Camaro SS.. I called the tech team they try to walk me through the install, but I had no time this morning.. Will try one more time when I get off work this afternoon.. 🙏🤞, if still the same sh** going in UPS drop box.. 😆

Can you install performance tunes and does it have a pop tune option?
I believe you can install performance tunes and it does come with preset tunes and other options.

Another question if you don’t mind, I’m not sure if your from San Antonio based on the six flags video anyways where did you get the headers installed and how much did they charge? I should be receiving mine this Thursday and need someone to install
@@huntingforexotics2402 I do live in San Antonio, my headers were installed by my friend and I didn't have to pay anything. So I'm not sure what it would cost, sorry man.
What is dod/afm ? And why did you turn it off i dont know anything about cars and i just wanted to know?
It's makes the engine go into V4 mode to save gas
Did you have problems downloading the update agent to you pc

does it come with tunes preloaded or do you need to buy them somehow?
It does come with preloaded tunes on it and you can change or add on mods based on what your vehicle has! 👍
@@TheRogueVette I have a stingray also I think I’m gonna buy this if it comes with tunes on it. I wasn’t sure a lot say in the description that you can buy tunes after purchasing the tuner. Thank you
@@sprayonbutter1038 no problem, you can have tunes put on it too if you want from a tuner, but it already comes with preloaded tunes and like I said you can make adjustments to the tunes if you have aftermarket parts on your ride.

@Steven Searle when I had the diablosport handheld I just plugged it in and followed the onscreen directions, is that what your trying to figure out?

@@TheRogueVette if you have 6 cars, you can tune 5 identical cars with the same devil i3 for the other car, you need to buy another license you know something about it.

@Thepulsewidth it should turn off the DOD, it did for me, I don't have that tuner anymore, got the car dyno tuned, that's why I said it was 2 years ago, I made this video a long time ago
And it reduce engine power, restore stock file back and will send it back asap!!
