Heard this on the radio 3 months ago on the octane channel and thank god they said who the band was. How many times do we here a song for the first time and love it? not into the video but love the song and this version to. But at 58 ..I let the warm burn of Irish whiskey slide down my throat , turn my head from the video and listen to great music in the dark..thanks guys
Back in 2002 we toured warped tour with these guys. We were both on the Maurice stage. Sometimes they played before us. Sometimes we played after them. I know that they’re Christian guys and warped tour is a debaucherous flea circus. However, they were the nicest guys and let me use their guitar cab many days. Our gear was stored in a trailer miles away from the stage. They obliged without question. hey There were some days where the shows got rained out. It amazed me how they would entertain the crowd acoustically usually with no effects. Show is over they kept going Doing covers and such. I will always stand in awe of thrice. Talent.
This is one of my favorite new rock songs and damn does thrice sound good live. Love the singers strong and raspy voice, and the construct of this haunting song. Well done!
You know it's a good song if it can be stripped down to just an acoustic guitar and vocalist and it still sounds great. Then again, I've heard Dustin cover Miley Cyrus so it's also about who's performing too. :P

Love thrice. Their music really was slacking compared to the early 2000's when they were my favorite band. This is definitely closer to their original style

Its not damaged, he sounds that way on purpose. I do the same thing when I play.
You can literally hear how his voice breaks in the process of the song.. I love his voice so much, let's hope he doesn't lose it.
