All I know is I have a compressor with a flex volt battery, went and bought regular lithium ion batteries because flex volt took a shit...regular lithium ion doesn't fit into compressor. Pissed because I'm in the mountain and had to drive far...no biggie I guess I wasted my weekend and have to go get a refund/ exchange. Reason I bought the regular ions was because I got two for the price of one flex...lesson learned. Don't use this tool much but dewalt did not keep it simple...
I figured this would be a correction from the 1st video yesterday. Nope. The same video.? Guys, this compressor is a 20 volt flexvolt advantage. It's 20 volt and can use the flexvolt 60 volt batteries. The original model is 60 volt only. Meaning you couldn't use 20 volt batteries.
Thanks for providing the information I needed to hear! Generally these guys are OK but nowhere near great or awesome! I would really like to hear them explain pricing, where to buy, and decibel levels like the guy from project farm does. They might have the stuff on screen but that’s lost on a guy on me who can’t see them
Almost finished switching from Milwaukee to Dewalt. Most reason is ergonomics. Dewalt start adding more 12v tools which I use the most. The new 850 with power stack is same 12v size. Have still left my Milwaukee fuel 18v pack out, 12v fuel multi tool, stapler. Whoever designed the Dewalt multi tool looks like never used one. The Milwaukee with m12 2ah batteries is the best design you can get. I can select the speed, turn it on and use it any way you want. Tried to cut inside a small cabinet with the Dewalt and that handle is just awkward. The Milwaukee pack out vacuum I use because it fits on the van shelves and use dust bags, can’t stand cleaning filters.
Tank capacity is too low for that kind of12 v application, however Graco worked with DeWalt to make a Flexvolt texture sprayer and also a Flexvolt paint sprayer
