Slaves in seas of soot we drown
Come on down to London town
The cogs they creak and the pistons pound
Come on down to London town
Power cloaked in progress
Smoke in Eden’s eyes
A million choking chimneys burn and
Blacken out the sky
Grab your mates and join us
Where the rats rejoice
The brazen brass of the working class
Are here to find their voice
Revolution holds us bound
Come on down to London town
Break your back for class and crown
Come on down to London town
Steam train running on a reckless rail
Speeding right into the rising gale
Shovel harder cos we’re on your tail
London’s bloody cry
Crippled to deliver
The spoils of industry
Crimson are the rivers
Bleed our grief into the sea
Slaves in seas of soot we drown
Come on down to London town
The cogs they creak and the pistons pound
Come on down to London town
Steam train running on a reckless rail
Speeding right into the rising gale
Shovel harder cos we’re on your tail
London’s bloody cry
Cry revolution, broken dreams
Cruel revolution smoke and steam - Видеоклипы
It's crazy how EVERY single song of yours is poetic, beautifully written, and dynamic in structure. Not to mention you have an incredible voice. The first time I discovered Miracle of Sound, I thought it was a band. The fact you make all of this music on your own is truly baffling.
Rock on dude, we're huge fans!!!!!
-Skull and Pat
+JT Machinima Thanks guys, much appreciated :)
+JT Machinima It's funny. I finished listening to your guys' song for this game before coming here. I wonder if there's a chance that you guys are considering collaborating on a song?
unexpected appearance
They made a Far Cry Primal song together +MaNiAc Mikey
hi JT
"Come on down, to London town." Line will be stuck in my head for the rest of the day.
Month*
Rest of life*
This song should be used in advertising for visiting England
While fighting with The zulu tribe...
All of MOS related songs are stuck in my head for the rest of the millenium
The AC developers should thank you, this actually makes me want to play the game.
Miracle of Sound's music is the ONLY thing that makes me want to play the entire franchise.
By far Gavin's best song
dont lmao its dogshit
Same
I suggest doing so. It's a great game. My favorite AC actually
Your song is amazing, Thanks you, you inspired me to make a video. You are a great Nordic Viking
hola
I love how "cry revolution, broken dreams" is sung in the same tune as "my revolution sets me free" from the AC unity song. I like the throwbacks to older songs.
+Chris Wong There are 3 callbacks in this one :) I wonder how many people will spot them all!
+miracleofsound
Was the "crimson are the rivers" line a callback to the "la justice est une riviere rouge" one from My Revolution?
Or are the callbacks all musical instead of lyrical?
+Chris Wong That is, indeed, one. "Crimson rivers" is featured in almost all his AC songs.
+miracleofsound What's the third? :O
+miracleofsound There's "Cry revolution, broken dreams", "Crimson are the rivers"
And I'm not sure of the last one, the melody sounds quite familiar in some parts, if that's it. Fantastic song as always Gav, and the drums sounds a fair bit better in this version! :)
This is great, beautiful song!!!
andá Juga lol Bo!
+Matías Sánchez :v
+BarbaKahn Teshible la epic guia del Teemo wn
+Barbakahn teemo epic guia papa!!!
+BarbaKahn Larga vida a Lord BarbaKahn
I understand not a lot of people were entertained by this game and found it disappointing. But I actually loved it. Maybe I'm just a sucker for Victorian London
i liked it too but felt it was missing something for at least the first half of the game, I decided to put away my criticism and look at it with a fresh pair of eyes and I really started to enjoy it. the only thing I would add to the game really is an introduction to the Rooks. It's like you save a few of them and suddenly you're the leader of the Gang.
Solaire of Astora maybe
I enjoyed the gameplay of this game but I am probably a little biased cause I LOVE victorian london
actually it was way better received than unity
One of the greatest games in my oppinion. Love it for ever.
The Hi-hat rhythm sounding like the piston on a steam engine is an especially nice touch.
Why don't you have more likes? Thank you for pointing that up!
@@crestfallenknight7983 *out
@@AFrickingOrange out. What the hell was wrong with me. Thank you.
@@crestfallenknight7983 well you are only human mistakes are bound to happen
AC2 song: "Pools of crimson sin, on swollen throats I leave my mark."
AC3: "Musket guns and silver slivers, justice runs in crimson rivers."
AC4 Black Flag: "Hoist the black flag, lads! Justice runs in crimson rivers!"
AC Unity: "La justice est un riviere rouge. Je tu cherche, ou-est tu?" (Justice is a red river. I look for you; where are you?"
AC Syndicate: "Crimson are the rivers, bleed our grief into the sea."
+Reirainsong These rivers are so red now, in the next AC Game, Hitler can paint his signs with it xD
+ExtremAlexYT Soooo AC is going the Sniper Elite way?
woestewouter96 Would be funny :D
+ExtremAlexYT They're so red, the fish in it have formed their own Communist society. Troutski as their leader.
+Andy S Richards booo!
You should get paid for this, just because of this I want to go and buy the game now.
+Spartan John-G172 Thought I was the only one... This song has actually got me excited for an Assassins Creed game. Jeez.
He does get paid. Ubisoft pays him to make these.
+David Teter Money well spent.
+David Teter i doubt Ubisoft pay him directly. He most likely gets paid the same way any other youtuber does
They do. He has said they sponsor his videos.
I'm twenty-five years of age, and I have never been attached to the work of any particular musician. Until coming across Miracle of Sound, I was a guy who liked random songs from random sources, with no real interest in any one performer. For instance, I could adore a certain song, and be left utterly cold by everything else produced by that same artist.
This guy is, quite literally, the first musician that I've ever been a fan of. So many fantastic songs, and hopefully very many more to come!
1:19 that transition is beautiful.
Sealer's floodgates hold us bound, come on down, to Londo Town!
Darkwraiths lurk as ghosts surround, come on down, to Londo Town!
Journey answering the Lord Soul's hail,
black lake testament to man-kind's fail,
four kings waiting under darkest veil,
Londo's drowning cry!
+Android 19 haha, nice :D
Underrated comment!
This one song makes me want to play this game more then ANYTHING EA/ubisoft has released
What does EA have do to with it?
Breakfast221 EA owns ubisoft
+William B (PKMN12) No they don't they do however have a stake in the company of around 15%, not nearly enough to significantly sway development or marketing and most certainly not a controlling stake.
+zainethedemonking Actually, not for five years they haven't, according to Bloomberg Business. www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2010-07-16/electronic-arts-is-selling-15-stake-in-ubisoft-entertainment-terms-show
Look, Ubisoft dropped EA awhile back. This is old as hell news. Raised Cain until they sold their shares.
I think it's a great thing that if someone with no experience with AC were to listen to this they could still enjoy it as a song about the Industrial Revolution.
We need a Assassin`s Creed Rogue Song c::::
BECAUSE YOU`RE AMAZING!
Fair enough.
There is one, you know
The title is "Forsake me now"
IT IS NOT MADE BY MIRACLE IT DOES NOT COUNT!!!!Though that doesn't mean its not a good video.
WHATS WITH THE CAPS??????????? ITS NOT LIKE HE SAID SOMETHING BADDDDDDDDDDDDDD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
BECAUSE IF YOU TURN OFF CAPS LOCKS THE CAPS ON THE KEYS FALL OFF AND YOU WON'T KNOW WHICH BUTTON TYPES EACH LETTER--7 year old me.
you guys never disappoint for the assassin creed songs ... i cant say for the others cause i havent hear them all keep the performance
+N3wmon3y guy, as in generally the one person. he did at one point ask a women to do a voice for at least one song, but beyond that, this is all him.
yeah, as said below, when someone other then him helps with the song, he has it listed somewhere.
With the exception of Dan Bull's Metro Rap, Legends of the Frost, Lady of the Worlds, Dream of the Sky, Dream of Goodbye (Maybe not 100%), and Sweet L.A., and possibly other songs I can't think of currently he is the band. What you hear is all him.
+La Volpa I think there was a female vocal in Evacuate, it's on soundcloud.
+D-Slayer Pornstein That's correct. I wonder when he will put up the video of Evacuate
+deamento From the video: "Special guests: Jack O'Rourke (piano) and Gary Baus (saxophone)"
This song is single-handedly responsible for making me play Syndicate. Just brilliant!
for realzies
"Come on down, to London town" ..... Well, yeah. I can´t get this part out of my head :'D
This feels like it should have ten million more views. The fact that its only at 6 mil means there are far too many people missing out on this masterpiece.
this song makes me feel like the most badass person. Honestly, London Town is the ultimate hype. Good job, mates!
Ya know, I've never played the games, but listen to the songs because it's Miracle of Sound. The fact that the songs make sense, even when you don't fully understand the source of inspiration, just says how great of an artist you are.
Truly underrated game. It was the first time since Ezio where I really loved the protagonists. They were awesome and so was the setting!
Lies again? Marine Soldier
I showed this to my best friend one day. He can now remember the lyrics better than I can after watching it once.
What.
I kinda want to play this game because of my infatuation with the Industrial period, but I also don't want to be disappointed by another AC game. urrrgh
But luckily I'm never disappointed in Gavin's songs based on the franchise.
Eh, I was satisfied with Unity simply name dropping people in the French Revolution, so if you're already geeky about the Industrial Revolution I'm sure you'll be satisfied.
+PlagueDoctorLove After you look past all the horrible glitches and microtransactions Unity was really good.
+Random Guy Well lets not go that far, gameplay wise it was realy stripped down compared to older AC games and the story wasnt that great either but its definitly an alright game if you can get it cheap somewhere.
+The66Hammer What the hell are you on about? Have you played AC 1 or 2?
+The66Hammer I thought it was good, if not because the last AC game I played was 3 and a little bit of 4. The difficulty was a pretty big spike, but I still got what I wanted out of it regardless.
While the romance elements felt appropriately cute and were a decent plot element, I felt that they could've been done better, and seeing as though that was the main driving force of the story (the French Revolution being a thematic backdrop), I can somewhat agree that the story could've been better.
It was like they shoehorned elements of the overall series plot into an already competent story, which detracted from the "star-crossed lovers" thing they were slightly subverting.
Am i the only one who enjoys his songs more the second time?
+SuperPineapplejones Happens all the time. Can barely stand them the first time through, personally. Part of it is his voice.
+Malcolm Swoboda true that
+SuperPineapplejones Yes
"Smoke in Eden eyes" makes me wonder - is that a refference back to your first Assassins Creed-song "Brothers of the Creed" with the line "Eyes of Eden upon me"?
Well played, Gavin - good one indeed! With the "crimson rivers" and "my revolution, broken dreams" referrences being the obvious ones (and probably more well-remembered)
Besides that, what an absolutely great song - think I've already heard around 40 times already! :D
+Jonas Bjerregaard Well, it could also be a nod to the whole 'Piece of Eden' thing. Although I do like your idea.
I think the smoke in Eden's eyes is more referencing the the way industry is destroying nature, and Eden was/is God's Garden and therefore associated with nature etc. but I like your idea too :)
Some girls
Or it could be all these things since Gav is amazing.
Jonas Bjerregaard you forgot black flag "Justice runs in crimson river"
Okay, okay, corny up. You are one of the best musicians I've ever heard dude! Like seriously, this is completely amazing.
How do you constantly put out content this good? it's evident just how much you care about your music, great work as always
+Adam Blaney Because he's awesome... obviously
+Nicholas Chandler-Yates and clearly he is some kind of god of music
+William B (PKMN12) Well he IS Irish Jesus and it's rumored that he was trained in the womb by Apollo. (Greek Gods of Music and the Sun)
+Adam Blaney Apparantly he works up to 70 hours a week. Amazing.
+La Volpa The Greek gods were all a bunch of total jerks, I wouldn't compare people to them as a compliment. :P
Hey, Gav, I just wanted to say..well. thanks for existing XD. As an aspiring musician you're a huge inspiration to me. Not only did you teach yourself, but you're a successful independent artist. You're also and incredibly kind, and laid back person, something I try to do in my everyday life. In fact you're one of the only musicians that i've kept up consistently with. I'm probably sounding like a broken record, but seriously, you're a huge inspiration for me and I hope you continue making amazing music for ages to come!
+Colin Crompton I'm glad to hear that. Keep on going & I hope you find lots of joy in your own work :)
Colin Crompton Is England your city?
The reason I started playing my favourite game series of all time
I love how easy it is to climb in this one but unity is my favorite
Listening while driving a carriage in the streets of London, en route to stop Templars from blowing Parliament. What an ambiance. And what a song.
its videos like this that make you wonder. "who the hell is disliking the video??"
+Nightstalker Gaming You sir, didn´t play AC Rogue.
Dominik Heß Aye!
Dominik Heß Wait, no... not aye. I think he was calling him a Templar scum BECAUSE of AC rogue's story.
But AC Rogues story was very good and the protagonist Shay was far away from being a scum.
Dominik Heß Clearly you don't understand...
I really love how you mirrored "My Revolution" there at the end, very cleaver.
"come on down to london town"
gonna be stuck in my head forever now
Listening to this song after watching your layering video makes me appreciate it even more
The beautiful thing about you, is that you always learn, you never hit a peak. When I heard your first album, it was great, admittedly dull with the instruments, but since then, you consistently expanded, and have reached a level that many have only dreamed of. If I could sing to save my life, you would probably inspired me to follow a career in music, or at least develop these talents. Sadly, if humanity's fate was based upon my singing skill, we would all be dead
I'm now entirely convinced you simply cannot make a bad song. Been a fan of yours since i heard a mass effect song waaay back. I've had the pleasure to listen to many a good song of yours throughout my life and I seem to find one for almost every occasion. Sometimes I just go on a miracle of sound spree and listen through all my favourite song of yours and they all have their memories to them.
Wow. Just wow. THIS IS AMAZING!!!
A true masterpiece! You're one of a kind Gavin Dunne. Never lose that voice, that desire to make such beautiful music! ✊✊✊
I'm buying this game for two reasons "jack the ripper" & "Charles Darwin"
+Bookworm2013 Quotations for the lack of good character design I hope.
+Bookworm2013 hmm good
+Bookworm2013
You'll have to buy DLC or Preorder for that then.
+Richard “Firebug” Merrick I may want the game but I'm not gonna pre order, I'll just buy the dlc
But will we have Spring Heeled Jack?
I keep comming back to this, the chorus just plays in my head a whole day.
In my opinion, AC Syndicate was my favorite in the series. The setting was nice, the combat was simple, but fun, and the missions were very enjoyable.
Don't you forget the protagonists! Evie and Jacob are one of the best characters that UBI managed to create in the AC saga.
My favourite as well. I loved the twins and the whole dynamics of the game.
This song has been out for a little over a month now, and I still can't stop listening to it. I still find myself listening to it for hours on end. I salute you Gav, for creating the most addicting song ever.
I really like when you throw in callbacks to previous songs of the series. My Revolution in this, You Died in Fires Fade, Call of Home in Shadow of the Ash etc.
Love the parallel between the French Revolution and the Industrial one, stroke of genius right there.
beautiful. simply beautiful. the thing i love the most about these is that you manage to connect all those songs of assassin's creed to each other with lyrics/melody.
"Come on down to London town" - this is amazing!
Lmao Ive been listening to this for like 4 years, never gets old
Do any of you guys know other songs like this? I really need them
This song is incredible. You could not possibly have portrayed the game better in a song.
Hahahaha I freaking LOVED your reference to "My revolution" in there. Very subtle, A+ :)
Love that you used the melody from your unity song at the end there. Really gives the two games and their respective songs ... well a sense of unity lol. I've always loved that about your songs from the same franchise. You always manage to tie them together with common lyrics or hints of a melody. Great song and great work as always.
Another absolute masterpiece. You are without a doubt the artist with the most consistent quality I know of. Keep up the amazing work Gav!
All I have to say is that I hate how long it takes for you to come out with new music along with their videos. But it is well worth the wait every single time. You have yet to disappoint me once at all, and every single song you do is worth buying. (BTW I would rather be stuck on Mars with your music then anyone else's music.)
I'mma buy the shit outta this.
Everything about this comment is hilarious, the profile pic/name, the one sentence, the fact that it's almost as soon as the vid was uploaded. Best comment 2015
+Danger Beans Thank you for this comment.
+Danger Beans I hope you mean the song, rather than the game.
+Cj Lange Why not both? Syndicate looks amazing.
It does, but I'm still a bit wary after Unity. I prefer not to get my hopes up before a game is even out yet.
you are GENIUS for music
This franchise consistently brings out some of your best work, Gav.
8 years old and its still so good. The game had its fair share of issues, but this absolutely nails the mood. Its so good
They need to make a Series of Syndicate and the opening song MUST be this one!
Absolutely incredible!
I could really feel the metal gears turning and smoke rising.
JUST AWESOME...Great lyrics
Factory smoke and silver slivers,
Justice runs in iron rivers.
When?
Come on. A 500/0 dislike ratio's gotta say something.
+Liito-orava 1850/6 now :P
+Liito-orava Capitalists, not Templars.
3000 to 16 Even more!
4k to 16
5k to 24!
Songs like this genuinely make me wish I had a better sound system so I can hear every juicy detail in the chorus. It's that good.
Your verry best song so far! Love the franchise, love your music, love Syndicate. Perfect combination!
This is the first song I have ever heard of yours and I legitimately thought this was simply the trailer for the game and thought "This trailer has really nice music". Now I know better but the song remains my favourite :)
I thought the same thing when I heard wake the white wolf last year, it thought it was a song from the games soundtrack or something
"Come on down, to London Town". That... that is STILL in my head 5 years later.
Yes yes there is another person is enjoying this right now
*Appears a third*
fourth
"'slaves in seas of soot we drownCome on down to london townThe cogs they creak and the pistons poundCome on down to london town " that was my favorite part keep on going miracleofsound, alsoWho is watching this in 2018?
Is it only me that listened this song like two hundred times?
No🙂
NOPE
Have you found any other songs like THIS one?
And counting.
You mean in one sitting right?
Miracle/ Gavin.I only just realised that the opening beggining vocals are the same rythem as London bridge is falling down... :3 how has it taken me this long xD
The greatest thing about this song is the images that it's music evokes. I can just close my eyes as I listen to the song and feel the Industrial-era London be conjured up in my mind.
...
Holy hell, your music is the animus!
I've not listened to this in a long while, there is so much more here I didn't appreciate the first time I listened to it. I'm late to the party, but listening to this on repeat. The stadium organ and guitar man....good vibes.
I love this song, I love Syndicate and Jacob. You are Awesome to make such a masterpiece.
One of the best songs you've done so far, Gav. Love it!
Since i found your songs,i can't stop listening them,i'm replaying them,and replaying
Dang. Everytime I think one of your songs is my favorite, You make a new one and it blows me away. Good job.
All your music is fantastic, but London Town will always be my favorite!
You know, this is the best trailer I've seen for this game. The official trailers left me indifferent but thanks to you, I'll probably buy this.
You know, I used to be a TOTALLY DIE HARD AC fan, and recently I took a few months long break. I tried it up again after a good 6 months but I couldn't seem to get back into it. I didn't have the enthusiasm to get Syndicate, so I decided to wait until my birthday, which is now in a month. I tried and tried to get back into it, but I couldn't it. But this. This is it. This did it. It has once more sparked my love for the series. Thank you so much! Sound is a miracle indeed! :P
Catchy. Love it. Can't stop singing along. Great job guys! This one is amazing!
I love your music so much. So beautiful. So addicting. Literally 90% of the music I listen to is yours! ^-^
"Come on down to London town" is stuck in my head and it won't get out.
See? It even rhymes. lol
Great work, sir. miracleofsound :)
Don't know if i commented this vid yet... but this song is amazing and I love it. Also bought it. Happy to see some people still care this much about Assassin's Creed! I have no words for how amazing this song is. Rock on, Gav!
One man made this and somehow it sounds like a glorious orchestra. Beautiful!
3:05
That was a nice callback to your Unity song "My Revolution"...
Vocal stats :
Lowest note : A2(0:29/0:35/1:08/1:14/etc)
Highest note : G4(1:17/1:23/1:30/1:36/etc)
A2 O_o so my ears doesn't got that wrong.... wow.
I love how both this and My Revolution start with the slow piano before it kicks off into the main song.
I finished the game two days ago
You're killin' me man, this is perfect THE FEELINGS ARE TOO MUCH
My favorite AC song from this guy! 😁😍
Love it. especially the piano cords which created beautiful melody! Now I want to play Assassin's Creed when it comes out.
My friends and I play a Call of Cthulhu game set in Victorian era London. I watch this video before every session to get hyped for the look and the feel of the setting! Thanks Gavin for improving my tabletop experience! :D
I heard this on a stream and I thought it was a song by some cool British rock band I'd never heard of. I'm blown away that it's Miracle of Sound! Great work.
DALE VOLI DALEEE
this song is gold.
I love the way the revolution part is woven in from your AC Unity song. Great work, keep it up!
I love the throwback to your AC:Unity song. When I first heard it I thought it sounded familiar and I had to listen three times before I realized why.
How many here are legitemately interested in another game playing as the Templars, like AC:Rogue? I can say, I certainly am.
London Town! This song is absolutely masterpiece
I just realized you even made a reference to Shadows in the Moonlight.
Now that's one of the thousands of reasons why you are and always will be the best at what you do.
Well I don't really see what is the difference much from the previous version of this, but well it's still amazing
+Aerunn Allado The kick drum in the previous version was way too loud & flabby, it had far too much in the low-mid frequencies. Only something that you'd notice on bassy speakers or headset
+miracleofsound I did feel like part of the song was a bit off.. Now that you mention it, this sounds a lot better. Dont you worry, those 40k views will be back, and might bring some buddies. :D
Thanks for the explaination, I just don't have speakers or ear/headphones that's why I probably didn't notice it
+miracleofsound yeah I noticed it towards the end on my razor gaming headset, you are definitely on point that this version is better.
+miracleofsound Yeah, I notice it ^^
still love this song 4 years later
