Those Raptor decals would be much better if their was color options. The grey, white and black as the only option is meh, tho i like the little decal on the hood.
Just bought this same truck, but mine has the bead locks. Also paid msrp. Just asked about 6 dealerships. Couple tried the markup bs, i walked. Most didnt. Just went to who gave me the best trade in for my 19 trd pro.
Every dealership in Southern CA are charging 10-25k over. The best deal I could find was 7k over MSRP. Its tough out here, I tried calling Nevada and its the same boat there.
It's not you it's the darn system that wants to force us away from benefiting from our resources while ensuring their is so much red tap and taxes involved in building houses and farming that housing, food explode in price while salaries can't follow due to artificial manipulation of the capitalist system.
Graphics are very nice but price for them is totally a ripoff.Canadian price is terrible too.$84k add tax, you're at $94,000. I can get a ZR2 $62,000 CDN. Maybe not quite as capable but very close and thats $32,000 difference. Nice but not worth it
I think zr2 (not bison) out the box is quite on par with the raptor. For example they both top out at 430lb.ft. If price is a major factor, which it is for a lot of people, the Chevy should have most of the market share by the end of the year.
Nice truck but I think it would be much better with out a turbo and 4 cylinders. I believe the Nissan Frontier is the best option in 2024. That is a crazy price for a mid sized truck.
Is it worth it? No, it's a truck. You can get any truck to do most of the things this will do. Most of these Rapters aren't going desert running or ever hitting trails. The question isn't "is it worth it" ,but "do you want one?" I also don't see what so special anout the interior. If you've been around a bunch of recent model Fords it looks like a Ford interior. I don't hate this truck. I want one, but I don't honestly know what I'll do with it besides chauffeuring my two Boerboels around. I can just get a regluar ass Ramger for that.
The elephant in the room is always that all the damned Ford Ranger, Nissan Navara, Toyota Hailux, Ww Amark and all the other small Pickups are that their cabins are not big enough and therefore the cars are WAY too expensive because they are simply useless as family cars. The cars cost the same as SUV cars and are also more expensive than SUV cars, but you only get half a car compared to the SUVs. There is simply too little legroom in the back seat and the cars are also too narrow. A man of 183cm cannot sit comfortably in the back seat of any of those pickups because there is NO LEG ROOM. So what the hell are we paying for when we can't have our 17 year old sons and daughters sitting in the back seat. THE CABINS ARE TOO SMALL AND WE GET TOO LITTLE CARS FOR THE PRICES OF THE CARS. Why isn't anyone talking about the damn problem with the small cabins?? No legroom equals the fact that the cars cannot be used for families with children aged 15!!!!!! Too little legroom.
That Ranger is bigger than a full size from the late 90s/early 2000s. Somehow people survived using them.I live in western Nebraska and my dad used to make us ride in the bed of his 1982 F-150. I am still alive.
I have to disagree here...I have a 2021 Ranger crew cab that works great as a family vehicle. I've got a family of 5 and my two sons are both 6 feet tall and fit fine in the back seat. If you have younger kids, it will be even better.
@@donaldbrady7910 I don't believe you. I live in Europe and we have all the Rangers you talk about and now we have the latest Ford Rangers, Toyota Hailux, Nissan, Isuzu, WW Amarok etc. I've driven all the cars and I'm 6ft and I can't sit comfortably in the back seat of any of those cars at all. NONE. So if you say your sons sit comfortably in the back seat of a Ford Ranger then your sons are not 6ft. My youngest is 5.9ft and he can't even sit comfortably in the back seats of any of the cars I've mentioned. Notice that I cannot SIT comfortably. You can probably squeeze someone into the car and they sit like crap in the back seat. I can push myself to sit in a crappy position in the back seat of a Ranger, but you are not supposed to sit like a cripple in the back seat of a car that costs so much and is called a car with a full cabin. You have to be honest and prove me right. Here in Europe, only the men drive those cars and they drive alone in the cars because there is no room on the back seats, so the wife and children drive in another car. It is a lot of money to pay for a car with a full cabin which is useless for the family because the "full" cabin is far too small. So the menn drive alone in a car for a lot of money.
I have this same truck, same color. It’s a blast to drive! This is my first midsize, coming from F150’s. So far so good.
Thank you for sharing woth the community
Is it more red or orange?
@@robertovindell more red to me but others say more orange lol
Like the graphics but $1000 would buy a lot of paint protection.
That is true and paint protection wrap will make it a much better truck 10 years down the road
Those Raptor decals would be much better if their was color options. The grey, white and black as the only option is meh, tho i like the little decal on the hood.
Excellent point
You can get it wrapped any way/color you want, fairly cheaply.

Well played.
Lucky! Every dealer near me here in Tx is charging 15k bs markup
Every dealership in Southern CA are charging 10-25k over. The best deal I could find was 7k over MSRP. Its tough out here, I tried calling Nevada and its the same boat there.
Awesome intel. Thank you for adding to the community knowledge pool. I'm sure many will appreciate this.
I'd go without the decal and use that money for the spray-in bedliner.
100%. And clear wrap the front hood and fenders
Great video. Thank you very much!
Thank ypu for the positivity
I must be doing something wrong here in Canada since I can’t afford an $83,000 mid-sized truck. Nice truck though.
It's not you it's the darn system that wants to force us away from benefiting from our resources while ensuring their is so much red tap and taxes involved in building houses and farming that housing, food explode in price while salaries can't follow due to artificial manipulation of the capitalist system.
Dealer markups once again prevent sales. Lame
And rarity will also prevent sales.
undercoating for sure, dont want the frame to quickly rust out
Kinda tough to talk about bang for the buck in an 80K midsize.

Thank you for the added information
The Ranger xlt 2.7l with fx4 is close enough to the zr2? Proce wise it's roughly 56k
Nice truck just correcg size
My exact thoughts
Nice truck but I think it would be much better with out a turbo and 4 cylinders. I believe the Nissan Frontier is the best option in 2024. That is a crazy price for a mid sized truck.
It's not a 4 cylinder
wow ! 🤩

The Ranger raptor definitely looks better in the hot chili pepper marinara dipping sauce color
Thank you with assisting in my efforts to rename the color.
The Ecoboost motor is a terror to repair . The many issues it has turbos small and not rebuildable
All motors seem pretty horrible to repair these days
Not worth what the dealerships want for it....
Not fun at all when they are over msrp but all our rare models have been at msrp including our 1 allotment of darkhorse
