Far and away, Robocop. The game plays so slowly, and so many invisible enemies can one shot you. No checkpoints in the level. Back to the start after ever death. Kabuki Warriors did have me laughing immediately when I started playing. Not a lot of comedicly bad games, more like genres to avoid. Cabela's Deer Hunt 2004 Season (or any Cabela's games) are worth missing entirely. High Rollers Casino and other sports related games didn't age well. I'd much rather play Aquaman.
I think you covered the "best of the worst" here. I recall back when Official Xbox Magazine (OXM) first published, Pulse Racer and Stake: Fortune Fighters were the only two to get a score of 1.0 out of 10. Nothing else came close at the time of that issue's release - around the time Ninja Gaiden released in '04. I heard that "Shrek" on the Xbox was just as terrible to play, especially since it was made by the same people who released "Aquaman: Battle For Atlantis".
Okay. There was a game for the original xbox that I can't remember the name of for the life of me. Either this was all the game was, or I couldn't progress further: but essentially you were a yellow car, in a completely empty city, and if you drove within the law, you were just left to wander. This game was for 360 but I never had so much fun in a racing game when you can race the Michelin test track and everybody would pick the same car and it would just be perfect drafting racing just like NASCAR but better then they could ever do it , but the best cars to pick were the T1s some of the closest finishes and racing I've ever been a part of , I remember One race we all crossed the finish line within the same second..... 🤗
A few additional pieces of data: Pulse Racer: John you did not mention the idea behind Pulse Racer. Your car is tied to your heart rate and when it gets too high, you are forced to stop until it drops. Does this make the game better….nope but the animation is worth a great laugh. Drake: Yes it is a terrible game but worth calling out that it was forced out unfinished.
