Dude what an amazing player you are. How is the fretwork in this guitar & didya find any issue with intonation (as it's 8 string version is notorious for poorly set up) Should I go for this guitar?
Thanks buddy! Yes, that's right! it's the standard 7 string guitar tuning. I use standard .010 strings setup E .010 B .013 G .017 D .026 A .036 E .046 B .056
Hey buddy! So here are my thoughts: The first challenge for getting used to a 7 string guitar was the fact that you have so many strings to mute and avoid them making noise while you are playing something else, especially when you are playing a solo. Another challenge to me was creating a "mind map" to be confident and playing freely through the scale without being intimidated with the low B. Talking about the neck thickness, this wasn't a big challenge for me. Actually, the neck of a 7 string is pretty comfortable and I believe it fits much better on your hands than a 6 string guitar neck. It's definitely not a big deal getting used to the neck thickness. About the multiscale, it's hard to say properly because we have many multiscale configurations out there.. In my case, the scale length goes 25,5" to 27". So talking about my experience, I took a couple of days to get used to the multiscale. It's pretty intuitive. It's not like completely different from what I was ever used to play. The only thing you certainly will notice is that reaching distant notes from each other (something like "Back in Black - ACDC" main riff) in the lower strings it's a little bit harder, because of the 27" scale. I believe it's something close to a baritone guitar. So that's is it! lol I definitely recommend getting a 7 string guitar. It's a very interesting and cool experience and I'm sure you will not regret it.
If is it your first multiscale, did you have any problems with the fan frets? I like everything about the guitar, and I want to get it, but I dunno if the fanned frets are that much of a difference from a common guitar. Thanks in advance!
Hey buddy! Thank you for commenting! Here are my thoughts.. Before I get this guitar on my hands to finally start playing, I was thinking that it would be soooo much different from the standard frets. But actually, it's not that strange at first place. I know, it looks like your fingers will give you some weird feeling to fit on the scale, but it's not like that at all. Actually, you gonna play pretty much naturally like you ever played on other guitars. I think the only exception that will make you feel the difference.. is to reach distance notes on the lowest strings (B - E - A), in other words, the longest part of the scale. Idk.. Like the Back in Black (ACDC) intro riff, you know? Or some complex chords that you need to put fingers far from each other... I have tiny hands, so some stuff is a little hard for me to play. But nothing that makes playing guitar less pleasurable. In my opinion, the best thing you should do is play on someone's multiscale guitar, or find on some music store, to feel how it's like. Because everything I described here was my personal experience, but I really recommend you to try multiscale guitars, it's awesome! See ya! :)

How did it felt for being your first 7 string? Did you find the neck too tick? How easy did you get used to the multi scale fretboard?
