These are the best reviews on youtube. Some of the points aren't things I really care about but I'm sure for some they change whether or not they'll buy it or not. Thank you for these. Also! Please never stop doing the neck measurements and comparisons! That's such a big selling point for me and it's something that's so hard to know without having it in your hand. You bridging that gap has been super helpful!
Best reviewer ever, exactly what I was looking for.
Best part was showing tone change as voice changes, with string still rings. (So that I could see volume difference. Most reviews don’t show that)
I am looking foward you to review one of new cort guitar, x700 mutility if you have a chance. You could compare with this one.

I actually own this guitar.. I waited 6 months for delivery here in the US. Honestly, I haven’t played it much because during the wait, I bought a fender Stratocaster Ultra SSS in Aged Natural (Solid Swamp Ash) and have primarily been playing it.. Time to pull this one out again (before the 9 volt dies lol).

I have one, and it's a great beast for that price, in Europe the price may vary quite a bit, I had 1 issue with the guitar, and that is that it drains my battery all the time, I don't leave it pluged in, quick fix is that I always pull the battery out :) great guitar if I may say 🤙

If the battery was mounted further back it would helped against neckdive… simple things have often a big impact, if overlooked…
Neck dive shows that its a light guitar, have you tried shifting the strap to the truss rod bolt on screws .

I moved the back strap button up about 3,5 - 4 inches. Helps a tiny bit against neckdive, but generally hangs better and more comfortable on the strap. Did it on all 6 of my guitars.

How do you rate this guitar by comparison with Harley Benton Amarok 6 which you also checked and tested?
Hey. They do similar things in a somewhat different manner. KX500 will generally be more versatile while Amaroks used to have slightly more cosmetic imperfections. But that was like a few years back. I didn't have a chance to look at newer HB batches, they're constantly improving
Max please tell me your honest opinion about the neck profile! Is it thin like Ibanez? Is it shreddable?
It is in a way similar to Ibanez Wizard profile but much thicker. It's a D versus thin U on Ibanez. I'd say it's absolutely shreddable. But so is any other neck: at least for me the shape and thickness don't matter at all.

А как долго держится батарейка? Один знакомый купил на авито практически новый (неюзанный) Cort KX 500 Etched Black (то есть такой же как в этом видео) и у него батарейки хватает лишь на неделю...
С тех пор как гитара приехала, в середине прошлого года или даже раньше, ни разу не менял
Была такая же проблема с этой гитарой, покапал новой в магазине Pop-music. Отнес по гарантии, оказалось, что проблема в распайке темброблока. Джек постоянно был "замкнут", и гитара при вынимании провода не выключалась. Возможно, у вас проблема в том же
100 часов если что. Если батарея не совсем бедовая, но после 7 вольт звук немного тухнет.(как раз неделя если шнурок не вынимать)

I wish they'd all go back to the old kramer/charvel/Jackson headstocks instead of this new style.i don't like these headstocks at all.these things have made me not buy a guitar because of it.everything else is badass.

@@MaxSoloMusic Thanks I'm torn between the two. Bang for $ and easy plug in out different pickup on both makes both appealing. So far it's the steel frets leaning me to one side.
ALL guitars from indonesia will develop fret sprout. It's because it's coming from the most humid possible conditions in the world....any where it arrives will have less humidity, the wood WILL shrink and fret sprout WILL happen.
I propose we ask the world to stop making guitars in Indonesia or any other high humidity environment.
yeah, not gonna happen I know.
@@Feverdream7777 will find out in 20 years I guess. But speaking of guitars made in Indonesia, usually when a guitar with sharp fret end arrives to my place sharp ends disappear in a week or two. Happened to me multiple times with Harley Bentons , and twice with Cort KX300. But not with this particular KX500
