It blows my mind how they pretty much like stripped the heart and soul out of the character now that he is an adult like the writing for him as a kid was like unbelievable and I read a lot of psychology and really would love to see more stuff like this it's sad but still gives you a good feeling.
Agreed !The dynamic with mad Cilla and Les gave the character more to play off. He looks like an old man now. The writing was much stronger in the naughties.
