ya it really is. once you start getting new tools, your ideas and abilities do expand alot. Especially with a dremel. Not only cracking open figures but also easier to sand down etc etc. make minor adjustments if something is too big etc.
hey wylun. I just popped the Bucky cap leg from comic strange ,and popped blades leg's out from the hips. and I think it's awesome for a very quick fix.
thanks man! i'm glad you enjoyed it. ya i really like this figure alot more now. I also added the jacket from punisher to him so he looks alot cooler also. (slit a whole in the back to stick his sword in too)
yup I did, sorry didnt show that in the video b/c I just wanted to get the swapping parts in. I use Citadel paint. Tamiya is also very good, I use that sometimes as well.
Thankyou so very much, i did not know the "anatomy" of the toy, and how to change torsos, now i know better and will take on future projects. I subscribed, i apreciate your effort and knowledge.
ohyes, no problem ill try to make a video review of him of what I added on. IF not , he will def. be in the next up coming size comparisons with other figures.
Not sure if anyone mentioned this already but it's possible your Blade hip joints were placed in the wrong side L/R , R/L. I bought 2 of this figure and they both could get the hips and thighs aligned.
Hi, mine is actually from a very old kit, I dont think they make it anymore, but they of course have new ones. Just go to Amazon and type in Dremel Kit, you can find them easily. (the brand is Dremel)
Have you ever tried to swap an upper torso to go with a lower torso you like. I ask because i like the upper torso of the new Blade but i wanna keep the Lower torso of the scourge figure when i swap
prob not, to be honest, I kind of like the look of how that black panther head looks on that body, alittle bit of silver and white to really complement the look. it looks very .. different but i dont mind it lol
you could leave the holes in the sides for halo mcfarlane style peg weapon mounts. also the hole in the bottom of the crotch could be used for gundam type display stands.
hm.. I have done the opposite lol. I've put DC Universe Classics/superheroes upper bodies on ML lower legs. I havent dabbled into the newer DC figures yet though.
thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it. Check my tutorial playlist, I have alot of videos of basic things like body swaps and painting jobs that you can maybe take some tips from.
ya i dont see a reason not.. as long as you smooth it out and it dries hard. why not? lol then paint it after. the hole will be small enough anyway, no one will know if its apoxie
no problem! ya its possible to still do it with the punisher legs, you just have to work alittle bit more and crack open the body of blade. For the sake of the video to keep it short (and i'm lazy as F) I decided not to. sometimes the easier route is the best.
hm.. i'd have to see the insides to really know.. but i guess try it yourself and if you need to crack open the upper bodies to get the pegs out.. then it must be done.
How much more work would it be to take a crotch piece that fits but then to pop off the legs at the hips and switch the legs that way. Is it just a simple boiling water pop-n-switch or more involved?
hm.. well i did change the crotch piece to fit, if you want to change the legs also, its fairly easy, if you watch the video you can just swap out the legs from the crotch too. if you just want too. but most likely you will always have to take apart the crotch area first.
Sad hasbro quality so bad now that leg and butt issue made me pissed... I gave him away just sad so many dont do customs and get bad design flaw. This is to common with them now.
Cool vid! The boil & pop used to be the extent of my customizing skills but once you start cracking open figures it really expands what you can do.

Awesome vid bro, thank you so much for showing this. Exactly what Im going to do with him now.
Keep up the fantastic work!
thanks! glad my video was helpful. I have a bunch of other ones also that show you how to take a part figures and to swap body parts, check them out.
Nice work. I use that same brand of glue too. gotta love dollar tree.
lol thanks! yup, best glue ever in my opinion. (both i showed in the video)
What camera lens did you use? It's amazing how it can focus like that.
hey wylun. I just popped the Bucky cap leg from comic strange ,and popped blades leg's out from the hips. and I think it's awesome for a very quick fix.
lol. forgot to say I switched legs and he stands a whole lot better. legs were easy popping from the hips, just be gentle.lol.
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!! this video helped out 100%, a Blade to be proud to have. keep up the good work man.
thanks man! i'm glad you enjoyed it. ya i really like this figure alot more now. I also added the jacket from punisher to him so he looks alot cooler also. (slit a whole in the back to stick his sword in too)
Great fixup! Looks better. Will you paint over the white glue marks that dried on the legs by the crotch peice? If so, what kind of paint?
yup I did, sorry didnt show that in the video b/c I just wanted to get the swapping parts in. I use Citadel paint. Tamiya is also very good, I use that sometimes as well.

Hi friend. a question, what black panter casting did you use for the modification? thank you very much from Mexico :D
Nice modification would love to see that punisher one in background
ohyes, no problem ill try to make a video review of him of what I added on. IF not , he will def. be in the next up coming size comparisons with other figures.

Iron man 80 all over again
@@RetroPillowcasewhat happened with the 80th anniversary iron mna?
@@turnthepage8980 all of the the biceps were swapped from the factory. Mislabeled for the children workers lol
Question: Do blade legs fit with punisher's torso?
I like the black but it looks weird without a belt
Where'd you get the dremel from/what's it called?
Hi, mine is actually from a very old kit, I dont think they make it anymore, but they of course have new ones. Just go to Amazon and type in Dremel Kit, you can find them easily. (the brand is Dremel)
Great video God bless!
Have you ever tried to swap an upper torso to go with a lower torso you like. I ask because i like the upper torso of the new Blade but i wanna keep the Lower torso of the scourge figure when i swap
Couldn't you sand down the punisher joint to get it to fit
Are you ever gonna do a full custom on that black panther?
prob not, to be honest, I kind of like the look of how that black panther head looks on that body, alittle bit of silver and white to really complement the look. it looks very .. different but i dont mind it lol
you could leave the holes in the sides for halo mcfarlane style peg weapon mounts. also the hole in the bottom of the crotch could be used for gundam type display stands.
those are actually fantastic ideas lol, thanks! ill think about that for future figures!
I wonder if it's possible to put Marvel Legends legs on D.C. Multiverse figures.
hm.. I have done the opposite lol. I've put DC Universe Classics/superheroes upper bodies on ML lower legs. I havent dabbled into the newer DC figures yet though.
What type of drill do you use
Great learning video, thanks for showing.
thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it. Check my tutorial playlist, I have alot of videos of basic things like body swaps and painting jobs that you can maybe take some tips from.
Are you able to use clay for filling up holes??
ya i dont see a reason not.. as long as you smooth it out and it dries hard. why not? lol then paint it after. the hole will be small enough anyway, no one will know if its apoxie
Nice! I did the same thing to my toybiz Wesley Snipes Blade 👍😉
ya!! man that one had horrible legs.. I used the Punisher from series 3 legs on my wesley snipes blade
Luv it my man. I'm posting this on my page.
thanks man! appreciate it! glad the video was helpful!
I was going to do the same thing with the punisher legs thanks for doing it first know i know
no problem! ya its possible to still do it with the punisher legs, you just have to work alittle bit more and crack open the body of blade. For the sake of the video to keep it short (and i'm lazy as F) I decided not to. sometimes the easier route is the best.
Does this trick work on D.C. Multiverse too? I want to put Marvel Legends legs on D.C. figures.
yes.... to a degree.. but when youre working w/ two different brands, you have to make sure youcan get the joints to fit correctly.
I'm thinking of using the walmart exclusive winter soldier to blade. Any idea if that would work??
hm.. i'd have to see the insides to really know.. but i guess try it yourself and if you need to crack open the upper bodies to get the pegs out.. then it must be done.
Great vid man. Good job
thanks man! hope it was helpful!

Dude, I dremeled underneath that lower shin guard , to get better ankle articulation. I'll tag you in a IG post later in the eve.
Less about the ankle articulation and more just the look.
hm.. well i did change the crotch piece to fit, if you want to change the legs also, its fairly easy, if you watch the video you can just swap out the legs from the crotch too. if you just want too. but most likely you will always have to take apart the crotch area first.
+WylunCustoms oh wow yeah that completely when over my head lol.
Dope mod! I like these vids alought, you should do more!
thanks! ill do! I know alot of ppl like to watch tutorial videos to help them.
This will make Bobbyskullface very happy ;)
You should use an Indian kuri knife or a tomahawk.
You should do a vid on fixing the ankles even though you explained it
Although I know there's a problem with this figure but I'm worried about ruining the torso, so I'll probably leave it alone.
Same concern totally, it has kept me from so much work like this.
Awsome man
thanks! hope it was helpful!
great video. classic!
Kragle
cb2k761 Lol.
LOL I'll have to use that name from now on
I must have gotten lucky I've possed my blade in all kinds of ways and it's not rubbing no issues
well then you are def. lucky!
WylunCustoms yeah I got lucky on that but the hela Thor Ragnarok figure her foot keeps coming off every time I try to move it
got a blade today for $5 , didn't really want him but i outa the pack i really like him
Anyone recommend any belts for this
Ghost Rider’s belt from the rhino wave
I hate the little nubs still on this body from the Electro. Awesome tips though bro, lot's of fixing options.
ya me too, you can probably just sand them down easily and smooth it out. Glad you like the video! thanks for watching!
Thanks so much for this.
no problem! glad to be of some help!
Nice tutorial wish you could also do modefiction tutorial on colossus...cuz the neck part is a little bit long....thanks...
Amazing
Sad hasbro quality so bad now that leg and butt issue made me pissed... I gave him away just sad so many dont do customs and get bad design flaw. This is to common with them now.
I dont have or want this figure but i never liked the amzing spider man 2 electro legs.
looks like bro keeps wiping blades a$$ lol love the mod though
Old Man BLADE
Why do I feel like I just watched you pack 3 lbs. of C4 into Blade's butthole? Lol. Thank you for sharing sir.
Yeap,I fixed this figure cutting part of but and ankle. Hasbro....No coments, design fail.
yup extremely design fail! now much of his butt was left over? lol, im sure maybe if you dremel the inner parts of the butt, you should of been fine.
yes, little bit, i think 0.40 inch, much better now, i dont have other figure for replace parts like you. Nice video, i like your reviews,
Just paint the figure!
Never!
GJ
why is BLADE bald 👴
itd be better if he was white
I cut my finger trying this tutorial.

Ha! Yeah that happens a lot.
