@@LifewithBrock Ah, it was a Red She-Hulk, Everything popped apart easy after boiling but when I got to the hip joint and it wasn't giving in, I knew had to crack it. Took 3 quarters of Titans vs Chiefs before I finally cracked it open. I had no idea what it looks in the inside (1st time cracking) so I drilled on the crotch and 4 more spots along the seams, damn thing wouldn’t t crack. Had to scratch that glue line slowly until I could wedge two knives in to split it. Didn't know old hips were done like that. Glad the new female bodies have ball joints.
Awesome tutorial! I hate opening up figures, %90 of the time I get the plastic warped, not sure how you guys do it so perfectly lol also, was wondering if that black/white priming actually create shadows for you? I tried it many times but my paint seems to just cover up those details and feels useless priming it that way.
@@LifewithBrock yes I mean I primer the figures after long time of joint prep, but I use that black to gray to white shading technique, but I always end up coloring the whole figure and the shade does not show. Unless I'm doing something wrong? Maybe just use water downed paint to keep the shadow effect?
If it's glue on the torso seam, has anyone tried subjecting it to below Zero temps? I didn't find any info though. Thing is working in a store's Frozen Dept I learned most all glues fail at temps well below zero unless made special. Often times a jolt would cause the glue to shatter.
Hey Brock I am thinking about using the vulture baf wings for my Archangel custom. What do you think? I have KO wings I could use but I thought the vulture baf would be something nobody else would use.
Of your figure does not have bicep swivel, just cut it (carefully) then dremel the bicep area and drill a screw onto the other cut part and plug them in.
I think there's more figures made from Batroc than figures displayed as Batroc! Poor Guy!! LOL Great tutorial sir!
Very true!
Thank you for the tutorial. I had seen a tutorial in Figure Realm, but it had pictures. Watching a video tutorial, it is much better.
I agree! That’s why I do these :)
Thanks for this video.
Those pliers are for C-clamps
Split rings
Can you give my some tips what boormachine is best for marvel legends figures,?
So would this technique work for a Marvel Icons figure too? Basically the same thing as a Toybiz Legends figure but bigger, right?
Thanks, do you drill at the same places for a female figure?
It depends on the connection. Heat up the figure and separate first.

Does this work with GIJOE CLASSIFIED??? Cus I need to recrack MY OFFICER TORSO to fit the arms
🤷🏻♂️
How lucky you are my friend. How I wished to have this one. But it is not available in my country. I wish you more

The priming definitely helps. I use an airbrush so I’m able to build up light layers layer and the priming does affect the color.

I recently cracked a sunfire body by using an exacto knife. It worked fantastic. Haven’t tried it on any other figures though.
I’ve tried that and almost sliced myself 😂
Will this work with the Ghostrider figures with that fire and collar at the neck?
Haven’t cracked that one, but it should.

I haven’t heard anyone trying that.
Hey, Brock I have a question and that is as follows: Is there another way to crack open a figure without resorting to drilling holes into it?
Some cut along the seam lines with an exacto.
how to disassembly glued part?
How can you get the neck peg out to use on another female figure ?
Those players are for jewelry making (working with wire)
I hope I don't sound rude but what is the point if you're drilling holes into the figure?
Just for fun 😄
Does this method work on black series figures
I'd imagine it would, but I haven't tried it on any of them.
Great tutorials, really appreciate it. Question - why apoxie and not the Green Stuff? What is the major reason to use one over the other?
Green stuff cures like rubber so you’d want to use that on hair, gloves, boot cuffs etc.
@@LifewithBrock gotcha, appreciate it
Can this method be used on Mattel DC Universe figures?
Yes
cool im buying these tools
Dope tips brother!
Thanks G!
Im thinking of using apoxy and paint to tone down the muscle definition on some marvel legends figures.

jdonkey39 I think it's worth the go.
Yo! Just saw this! What did you end up doing?
Can you do a tutorial on creating a bicep swivel
Of your figure does not have bicep swivel, just cut it (carefully) then dremel the bicep area and drill a screw onto the other cut part and plug them in.
Hi nice tutorial, do you how to cracking body of marvel select? I'll try to figure it out how to take a part hand from marvel select body, thanks
Just cracked Drax and it was pain.
Thanks dude!
Is it any different for the Spider UK buck or the Sunfire buck?
Should work the same 👍🏻
Would this work with anti agent venom that comes out next month
Yes sir every figure can be cracked
good for you
Cool video bro
This has never worked for me without destroying the figure first
It really depends on the figure. Some have been super easy for me and others nearly imposible.
I tried to crack an old Drax at the wast and is was all one piece it was a pain in the ass.
Sometimes that’s the way it is. I had a super hard time cracking a Select Cable recently.
@@LifewithBrock I used the top half for a Bonecrusher and legs for a Marvel Mr. X just had to do a lot of covering up after.
People who do this deserve jobs somewhere, this crap ain’t easy or fun for me.
Only a hobby for me. I couldn’t do this for a living :)
I dont believe you had to drill a hole in it I think it will crack on it's own if you just grab it inside the shoulder joint
I’ve seen someone use a flat head screwdriver to pry apart. I haven’t tried that yet.
Do a female figure please
