While many people might wish for a show like Recovery to return, the entire landscape for discovering new music has inexorably shifted. There is no longer a tv show or a radio station that everyone listens to. Instead there are thousands of little channels on RUclips, Spotify, Facebook, etc. In some ways this has given more opportunity for new music to reach an audience of some kind. However, there has been a loss of a larger sense of community and shared experience.
