100% agree. I use the ProShot and think the lower chin camera mounts are hands down the best view. Good tips on mounting camera to helmet without spending much money, ProShot is a little pricey for what it is IMO.
I use a adhesive chin mount and I have a string tied from the gopro to my helmet so that in case it does get knocked off I don't lose it. It saved me once at Hatfield-McCoy.
I get a lot of good feedback with my under the visor mount, but not as much bike movement as yours on the chin. On some helmets the visor is pointing up a bit high, but tucked up under the visor it tends to not catch as much roost. Definitely going to look into the foam wind covers!
Awesome! I have tried the under the visor and liked it as well, just not as much room to mount and I personally like the little more bike movement. For sure a great option though!
Something I use for battery life is the 3br powersports external power adapter. xpwr.php. Then I connect it to a Lithium Ion lipstick battery like you'd use for emergency charging your cell phone. It all mounts on my ProShot chin mount. It's light and compact, and lets me get about 4 1/2 hours of video on a 256 gig card at 1080p 60fps. Battery life issues almost completely disappear.
@@NoahClark32 I’ll show you my setup at one of the Hillbilly races. I’m in Washington State for work right now, but I should be home in time for Rnd 2 at HHR.
Chin guard mounting definitely makes for the best riders eye view. Mounting on top of the helmet is too high and puts the camera in a vulnerable spot for hitting tree limbs and such. I have the pro shot mount.
Are you running the Hero 8? What editing software or app do you use to edit down your videos? I enjoy your videos. Great quality and enjoyable to watch.
I'd like to see what you do for training exercises bike wise!? Like slow maneuverings or balancing techniques because I do know techniques can help tremendously! Log crossings or splatters what's best way to gain know hows and or techniques for that? Other than time and practice. Love your videos and especially the angle of your gopro!
Probably won't see this until it's over but good luck with the last NEPG this weekend. Quick edit - most laptop native resolution is 720p. Running 720p @ 60 FPS really brings out the detail in the video and also eliminates the graininess you sometimes get if you're dealing with sun and dusty conditions. Me and the little guy love the videos!
Ive tried every mount there is and non of them make me look as fast as i really am. I keep telling everyone im really really fast but my videos and results cant keep up....
boot cam mount is pretty cool. I fabricated one and it shows the bike in a cool angle. Coupled with a 360 cam.. really opens up some cool shots. Can see it here - ruclips.net/video/Z0IQhixqOxY/видео.html

Agree! Ive got a mount that puts the camera low left on my helmet, but i want to be alittle lower like under chin
This is the same mounting option that I run and it's great!

Love the gym and outdoor training vids as well. Thanks for the gpro tips.
Glad you like them! Thank you
Thanks Noah!
what about side mount, with a 90 degree bend so it shows more if a view infront but still some of the bad n stuff
Helpful, thx
thanks bruh very helpful
The Dango is an Awesome mount
I lost my GoPro with that mount. It must have come off in a crash I don’t specifically remember the moment I lost it.
What light settings you think will suit the woods with shadow and deep gullys

Yep exactly!
@@NoahClark32welcome back...an update to this video please
What do you use for editing software and export settings when exporting from it?

Thank you! I use the hero 7 black just using imovie to edit

Bro that’s great I live close to The Iron man Gncc and I’m doing it next year and I need a good setup to tape it thanks
Sweet! Good luck and see ya there!
You too!

Awesome thanks! I appreciate the support and thanks for watching the videos!
Now with the new AMA rules, what do you plan to run? I currently use the ProShot and really like it.
What’s the best mic for dirt bike GoPro vids and street bike mics yk
Can you make a video on some options for mounting with the new GoPro ban at gncc’s and such
chest mount is the only option
Why not the large protective case as opposed to just the screen protectors?
The audio is much better without the case
What size SD card do you use and what brand is it?
My OCD wanted me to let ya know your plaques are crooked...
😂😂😂
I always wondered what you ran. Thanks
What mount do you use
why not under the visor thats what i do you have less of a chance of losing it and its pretty much the same as the chin mount
Is the GoPro hero 7 grey a good GoPro for riding ?
If you can, get the black just because it has the stabilization. The grey has a great ability but just doesn't have the stability built in
I guess I could but would it still be good quality with the grey

@@150xcw Turns out the camera wasn't the problem. lol
@@150xcw you got it!
The GoPro is upside down does it come out right side up still?
Yes it is a setting you can change on the gopro or it just does it automatically
