I'm an old Hip Hop-Head an I love to produce with my old 12Bit and 16Bit hardware , but it's great to see all the young cats with their new tools, like the Machine, FL Studio, etc. You are never too old to get inspired by the new generation! Peace, Loop Ferrigno
Respect! Too often I hear people of the older generation talking down and being unnecessarily critical of today's innovation, technology and music makers. You can favor a particular style and methodology of doing things without disliking another!
Those chops were dope, Did he put a sort of oscillating filter on it? Around 1:00 sounds kind of like that or filter sweeping back an force over the sample. Not hatin I just donno how people Draw in drums man, I need the pads to get rockin right but that's just me! Subscribin to maschine masters now these episodes are dope!
DJRELLYRELL man, i have all official jahlil kits but these sound names aren't in any of these. over google you can find tons of jahlil kits. to find the right one would take to long
Kenny Lopez i'm sure your drum sounds aren't your own sounds. most producers using the same shit with different names and compilations. how you see in the vid he isn't using his own sounds to make hits. a free jahlil kit bro! :-) but his personality is still audible.
+RealGeeNius I sample my own drums from time to time. I don't use a "such and such producer kit" unless I know I'm actually getting from that actual producer, and even then, that's rare.
Damn.. i know its just in my head/opinion but this song would have went next level if went in / out between double time and this smooth ass laid back flow. Dynamics would really make that that snap. Either way, awesome stuff guys.
on some real..i wouldnt give a fuck if drake shouted me, let me get a shout from andre3000, any one from the wu, cole, kendrick, oddisee, tribe, de la, fuckin charlamange the god lol just my opinion and how you make a 381 tempo beat? cray but efficient if you want your drums to be tighter . respeck to relly rell tho
A DAW is only as strong as the producer behind it (9th Wonder/The Bartenders/DeMitrus Parks are 3 producer of the top that's created great music within FL). Some have better/wanted features others don't. (I use LPX/R8 and PT-10....LPX* primary). Learn your tools and craft them to your creative flow. No way would I EVER ALLOW A ARTIST TO SMOKE AS THE RECORD IN THE MICROPHONE!!!!!! Like really WTF?!? Total lack of respect for equipment. Ya' on some Bulls**t with that one. TheGift of7™
I have listened to over 10 episodes of this series and i can honestly say that maybe one or 2 were cool. The rest were nothing special including this one. If the purpose of these videos is to promote the sample packs they aren't doing a good job of it. So-so producers with limited skill on how to manipulate samples will not sell sample packs.
As you can see he did not use any midi gear to record the samples into fl studio. He only used the sequenzer. If you double the tempo you can use twice as many buttons in there to place your samples.
ima sample ya sample pack and build the beats from scratch. Relax. Ima bring 97 back. No autotune just real ass tracks. But hey...what am i doin I don't rap.
You dare the world to say something about fruity loops? Are you wrong in the head? Of all the DAWs out there, you want to appraise FL? Fine, I dare; Learn to use a proper DAW, any DAW, any DAW that didn't begin as a children's toy, for fck sake, FL reminds me of eJay, and I think no matter how much it evolved closer to a real workstation, it's like you're an adult rolling around in an expanded Hot Wheels toy car, at the end of the day, you're gonna want a real car.

DJRELLYRELL man, i have all official jahlil kits but these sound names aren't in any of these. over google you can find tons of jahlil kits. to find the right one would take to long
Make your own sound. Don't be a cookie cutter beat maker. If you're the same that means you're interchangeable and replaceable.
Kenny Lopez i'm sure your drum sounds aren't your own sounds. most producers using the same shit with different names and compilations. how you see in the vid he isn't using his own sounds to make hits. a free jahlil kit bro! :-) but his personality is still audible.

Yea you are alone in that.
I'm ok with that. LOL
can you tell me whats the difference between this and any of the other rap? i honestly can't. it all sounds mediocre "af"
I have listened to over 10 episodes of this series and i can honestly say that maybe one or 2 were cool. The rest were nothing special including this one. thareal Muse1 I personally can't stand FL but if it works for you to each they own bromie. I'm a logic man myself.
ima sample ya sample pack and build the beats from scratch. Relax. Ima bring 97 back. No autotune just real ass tracks. But hey...what am i doin I don't rap.
