This is the power of competition! Had there been no new entrants like Kia and MG, Suzuki would have given the same old model with some additional features but thanks to the competition, they are giving the same 3rd generation model being used globally. I hope more car makers make their way to Pakistan and give a tough time to the big 3 so consumers could get the best for what they pay.
Civic 22 is also another example of how competition has lead to honda and suzuki launching latest car generations in pakistan

All three variants have ABS + EBD, Immobilizer, Electric Stability Program (ESP), 9 inch infotainment, standard 2 Airbags (top variant has 6), Tilt steering, Driver Seat Height Adjustment. Meanwhile, Hill Assist Control (HAC) and Cruise Control are offered in top two variants. This car is going to give a tough competition even to imported cars like Vitz and Passo along with local City and Yaris.
Yes after a long time we will get something different

In features, yes it can compete JDMs. I wish it was comparable in build quality and finishing as well.
@@murtazamalik632 Sir I have worked with Japanese and Germans. Our Pakistani labor cannot match the precision and excellence of Japanese/ German workforce. They have no concept of "Jugaar". Their attention to detail is matchless. So obviously locally made build quality will be different as it is human in the end who assemble most car parts.
What about Climate control .... is it present in Base variant ?

Build quality of the car is really impressive. I was amazed when i checked it tons of better quality than cultus and alto. Good work Suzuki 😀

The price isn't as high as it was expected if it doesn't inflate.. great competition to Japanese hatchbacks as they cost above 3 million
In almost this price you can buy Vitz 2018 model so why spend something made in Pakistan when u know their quality
@@ihsankhan-qn9hm 1) vitz does not offer these much load of features, Swift has definitely checked all the tick marks for features this time 2) This is brand new car with warranty, 3) it's quality is well known and no lesser than a vitz.

On extremely warm days or in places with usually extreme temperatures, this feature can be majorly ignored as usually, the ACs are on in the car.
On the days of harsh sun, moonlight car sunroofs only add to more sun rays which can irritate.
In case of the glass breaks, it is quite expensive to be repaired.
The integrity of old cars with sunroofs is affected as the buyers might not want to buy a sunroof car according to their preference.
It is high maintenance as the rubbers, glass, motor all the other mechanical components might require frequent maintenance.
During rainy days the water might seep in, making the car wet and filled with water.
The cars without sunroofs generally offer more headroom space for the passengers.
Last but not least, car sunroofs are highly expensive.

This top of the line variant is excellent, Suzuki done an excellent job as it has all the latest and required features. Well done Suzuki. Hopefully is ki booking bhi available hoo :) as nowadays cars are not available and companies at least taking 6 months for delivery.

By looking at Suzuki's past, I think within 1 year it's price will inflate so booking it right now will be good decision for buyers, as it has good features.

I don't have such money to buy this car but this time Pak suzuki have done a great job. I'm a car lover and I've watched this car online so many times before and used to think that when this car will enter in Pakistan Market. I was very unhappy when i initially heard the news of Swift's discontinuing but now I'm so happy to see it in Pakistan. Some day I'll get this car InshAllah.

So far the review is static with great features offered so far in market, will be interesting if the car performs well on road as well. You know the real test lies on Pak roads.

Whts the current price of yaris?
Witnessed top of the line variant today, being user of Swift 2013, I must say the new ones are cheap in overall build. Dashboard feels cheap plastic, leg room space is less than older swift. I could clearly see rough weld patches at different places. To be honest, it's disappointing build quality with 31 Lac "on road" Price tag!

@@helix7203 swift is not made locally in pakistan..Only assembled there..So there will be addition taxes and import charges..Parts are mostly sourced from japan and thailand I guess..

Great addition for hatchback lovers. It will compete with the upcoming MG3 and KIA Rio.
But I think Suzuki should consider the variants of this B-segment hatchback on the basis of its transmission (Manual/Auto) or power(1.2/1.0 Turbo), keeping all accessories and other things the same, like they did in the case of 2nd gen after 2016 (DLX Manual & DLX Automatic). That way, performance lovers will more likely book a manual GLX or Turbo GLX CVT. I mean who would not like a bi-projection LED headlamps with a manual transmission?

Very impressed with the release. Thankfully they didn't strip features when bringing this here. Price is debatable but definitely a good entry in the market.

Top variant will easily kick out City 1.2L CVT & Manual. Some extent Yaris too.
people should focus on the following things :
1. Engine quality and its horse power.
2. Petrol average of the car.
Rest of the things are just like icing on the cake.

At first I thought its priced very high. But considering these features I think it's gonna b tough compatitor to our C segmant sedans.
Also, I don't know international varient has it or not, If they include a sunroof than it would sweap out KIA Stonic for sure.
