So I visited the G6 Sukzuki showroom, to get a better feel for the car, few things I would like to point out. Quality control wise it's living upto Pak Suzuki's name, gaps were uneven, specially hood ones and no two panels were even, slight unevenness in them. When I asked why is this, the gentleman over there said it's a ckd unit this normal. If you use Pakistani way of checking a car by lightly knocking on the body panel. It sounds just like a tin can. You have to use force to close all 4 doors properly. All 3 variants have this characteristic. Just like cultus. Android panel is much better than the one that comes with cultus. Front seats thigh support on gl and gl cvt pinch you, as if the seat is a bit small. Glx ones were top notch. Rear leg room is ample, boot space is also very good. Gl and gl cvt Inner cabin have a cultus like vibe. Ac knobs on gl variant have a cheap feel when you operate them, same is the case with window control buttons. I was told gl has sohc engine, so based on that it should have good average. They have given you room for a spare wheel but you will have to purchase it, it does not come with car. The car sits very high from the ground and even with 16 inch alloys, tyre & fender gap is alot. You can fit a shoe in between the space. Armrest and spoiler are optional and that will set you back 54k, regarding delivery it's 90 days. Went with mindset of booking gl but decided not to. You are not getting value for your money. Most of peeps will be sold when they will sit in the glx but other 2 variant are lackluster and bland. Not going to talk about safety features because it's never on our agende, the way we drive and to the extent we follow law, driving mannerisms and ethics, no amount of safety can save us. Lets come to key the point,this car will sell like hot cakes if it's average is good because it's a Suzuki. It is only 70 kg heavier than cultus, so average should be good.
I went to see the car today and found nothing that you mentioned. GL cvt has a premium feel to it as well. Its not like glx interior is made from other material and gl from other.
@Emran Mahmud wah, interior of wagon R and cultus are also made from same material. Above 2 car's I already have and drive daily. We can keep on this banter all day. Your and mine mind set, perspective of looking at a thing and what to look in a car are quite different.
I have auto swift 2015 n this new swift seems to be a nice upgrade. However, need to get a test drive to compare the engine performance. Plz share if anyone has already compared old n new swift
This swift is full of features and i have the older gen which is a great car but it gets ignored due to its fuel average, hope this top of the line glx variant takes the market by storm and suzuki’s build quality of swift is great besides the alto and cultus.
I too have old swift (nav auto) and its a great car with all necessary options. Alloys, yokohama tyres, rear view camera, nav, spare wheel, and most importantly, powerful engine and a proper automatic gearbox as oposed to the stupid AGS in alto/cultus. Personally I dont like leather seats coz we live in a hot country so for me, its a perfect car. If we maintain it properly, fuel average isn't that bad.
@@fozyk1099 yes obviously everyone has the misconception of the fuel average so that’s why i have highlighted it baki to it has the features, aftermarket android panel etc. alloy rims etc etc and it has a great power output as well.

The old shape of Suzuki swift is equally good very sporty n power packed I'm in Sydney Australia n I have noticed that new generation swift is available in the market but people are crazy of the old generation n there are lot of cars on on the road although Suzuki brand has a very little presence in the Australian car market .one can only see swift n baleno on the roads.
In pakistan the older swift lacks in terms of fuel economy coz of the non-vvt M13A engine given by Pak suzuki you have to be very light on the throttle and keep the rpms low to attain good fuel economy and make sure you change the spark plugs every 25000km if your using simple copper plugs but on long route it's good.globally the older gen swift came with vvt M13A/M15A engine which improves fuel economy and low rpm torque drastically even the sport model which came with the 1.6L M16A VVT has better fuel economy then the non VVT M13A I'm running a swift sport engine iny swift and I get 13-14 in city and 16 on long route even though I drive with a heavy foot my cousin just changed his swift automatic head assembly to japanese M16A mind you the M16A he got has less hp then the one which I have in my car I believe the engine he got was taken out from a Suzuki SX4 or a AERIO but it's a one day job coz everything is bolt on and just like factory fit no alterations or anything to change the engine and then he installed japanese model ecu and VVT is activated now and on the orignal M13A non VVT engine swift auto is very bad on fuel he was getting 9 in city and 13 on long but now he told me not only is the car more powerful now its also very decent on fuel he said it gives him 11 to 11.5 in city and 16 on long route which is very good for a 1600cc engine two factors play a role one the engine is equiped with vvt/varaible valve timing and second Is coz the car is light weight he said his car is even quicker then a Grande 1.8 cvti now which makes sense coz of good power to weight ratio I on the other hand have a manual swift with a M16A engine from swift sport and some mods on it which gives me excellent fuel economy and it's faster in terms of acceleration then a manual reborn,manual rebirth,civic x 1.8 cvt,manual grande,accord cl9,c200 kompressor and mark x 250g have no plans to sell the car and will be buying this new one aswell soon

Suzuki new cars are really nice. Alto, cultus and now swift all are beautiful, full of features and excellent fuel average. Only down side is their steep pricing.

Changan alsvin is Chinese maal. Keep in mind gadhay aur ghoray main farq hota hai. Chinese engines r not reliable n tough as japanese even Koreans can't match the japanese so what if alsvin is a bit better looking than swift but japanese will remain japanese they have no comparison

I think the fuel average for old swift is a misconception and also depends whether it's manual or automatic. I have had swift for 7 years manual, 75k kms, all driven by myself from zero and i still get between 10-11 km / litre. The car is super responsive and accelerates quickly, excellent road grip at high speeds or winding mountain roads. The most reliable car I have owned so far. Automatic variant however has very poor mileage compared to other automatic cars that's why the perception of bad fuel average is there.

Walaikum salam. I believe this Swift would sell better than former generation. Not only the former generation consumed more fuel but fell under an extraordinarily high tax bracket. With it's 1.2 l engine is going to be fuel efficient and tax friendly.

yes poor editing however i think the quality gets compromised due to uploading first in the pak youtube community
