@@LeeFall Did you have issues with the Fanatec CSL DD since you mentioned the brand, I was looking for an upgrade from my T300 RS GT and wondered about its longevity
@@stufflike5844 Yes it was CSL DD the original one, it may be fixed now but I have had many of fanatec wheels/pedals and they always end up developing a fault. Which is why I picked Moza and was very impressed.
It's just sad that such a popular sim racing wheel manufacturer won't improve their design just to cut costs and then blame the users for 'playing for too long' or 'not plugging their device's power supply directly into the wall power outlet'. Thrustmaster is just baffling. I bought a T300rs but after all of these 9 year old design flaws and Thrustmaster's lack of taking accountability, I'm returning it.
You returning t300rs after 9 years😂.. You probably will sell not returning :) I had one sell him last year with 0 problems......if you guys wannna talk about shitt* wheells lets talk about logitech please😂
@@GremPTGamer I kinda messed up by English there I’m sorry. English is my second language. What I meant was I bought one new online this week (waiting for delivery). I’m still thinking if I wanna keep it since even though this wheel is super outdated, the cheapest Fanatec is like double the price here in Brazil lol
Playing to long is legitimate, wheel bases are not designed for long play, none of them not even Fanatec who have a 1 hr continuous use limit. None of this is new, but most people don't bother to read the documentation with the product, Most complaints on line are by people who misuse a product then complain it does not work.
If it's hot inside and i have the FB set to max. It will fade after 5-10 laps. I just set it at 80% and it's fine. Has been for 5 years now. There are hacks with better cooling fans that solve this heat related issue. I do believe TM should've made a better cooling solution. But i also believe that recycling the same wheel for 20 years is ridiculous. And that was the only alternative at the time. Now i would buy an Fanatec instead but that was not an option back then (Price and CSL elite wasn't in another galaxy performance wise) Unlike the current CSL DD and Mosa.
I bought this wheel, and after 5 days it started to loose FFB. I tried many tips, but nothing worked, so i returned it to the seller. After few days i decided to buy another one, so i hope it will work much longer now.....if not, i do not trust the Thrustmaster ever again
@@Mystic_Zeno 75 and rest to 100 + boost, but I even played on 80, 90 and 100 and still not an issue, I just don't like it because it clips easily. (AND I don't need to simulate really strong forces, if I wanted to simulate a GT3 I'd get a DD instead)
@AbrainboomO damn dude, i play F1 in 75 and it kills me. I don't use boost since it gives fade fast. I have 100 on 2 more settings and 0 on another two. I even played forza horizon, motorsport, ACC and AC. Idk whats wrong man. I cant even enjoy the wheel to its fullest potential
I have th same T 300 and wheel Ferrari 2011. with pedal TL-CM. I have play with the F1 challenge mod VB, I have general 70% other parameters on 100% what do you suggest I set? The T 300 suffers from overheating and cuts a little the power not always. On F1 challenge mod VB i Have the FFB at 100%
I have a TMX that started clicking during turning. Lowered the FFB to 30%, still did it. Contacted Thurstmaster and they told me I am not within the warranty period. I got it a month ago. Second Thrustmaster product in a row that was a dud almost immediately. Will never buy from them again.
Look in your user manual, it should say 1 year warranty, unless you're in Europe where it's 2 years. Long as you bought it brand new from them or an authorized retailer with proof, you get your warranty. Contact them again and advise them the owners manual states you get a 1 year warranty minimum. Unless there is missing information you've withheld from us.
Had same issue. The fix is to go into control panel. FFB to 100% and in game you lower it to 25% in ACC for example. You still have a good feeling and no sounds ;)
T300RS I replaced the fan and added an extra one and the problem still persists. Loss of heat and energy. g923 is better I didn't have all the problems with the T300.
I just sold my T300 this week. Very bad issues this product have, i cannot recommend like a lot of people usually do, i would prefer recomending G923 than a T300.
2nd hand owner for T300 here, after the (boost)update/ fan always ON settings. Product works as it should👌
Cna you provide information how to enable (boost)update / fan always on?
I had thrustmaster t300 rs . It worked perfectly fine
This is why I left Thrustmaster a decade ago
Same I had 2 T300 and both failed... Never again. Buy cheap, buy twice. Even Fanatec have the same issues. Moza is my new home.
