- Driving an Audi A6 3.0 TDI Quattro with 245 HP fast on the German Autobahn A29 from Wilhelmshaven past Oldenburg and back. All in all about 120 km. Video comes in two parts, this is the second one. Recorded with GoPro HD Hero 2 and a small keychain camera stuck to the steering wheel.

I really like your videos. I must say, you are an excellent driver. As an American, I really wish the US adopted German standards for driving. In the US, a major reason for accidents is Driver Education. People simply don't know how to drive. Instead people are mostly educated on policies and regulations instead of real life driving scenarios. I feel that politicians have a mentality that going 80 MPH is deadly. Recently 80 and 85 MPH speed limits have been introduced on major interstates in Utah and Texas. I wish we had the availability for good drivers to drive at unrestricted speeds and experience the sheer driving pleasure of driving at very high speeds that you enjoy! I also wish things like "left lane passing only" and "no passing on right" was more accepted among drivers, even though that is the law. Instead, if someone gets a traffic ticket, they always try to fight it in court (innocent till proven guilty) and cause traffic enforcement to be broken. Guess I'll have to book a ticket to Germany, or go to a local racing speedway.

Wenn es da einen Unfall gibt, dann sind zu 98% die Leute schuld, die ohne zu gucken einfach auf die linke Spur ziehen und dabei gerademal 3 Km/h schneller sind als der Vordermann !!

I had a similar close call like you did at 2:41. I was driving in a Megane RS at 240 km/h and this stupid driver with a french license plate changed the lane in front of me. I slammed the brakes and barely managed to stop 2 meters behind him, the stupid bastard didn't even notice.

i think you can go with the Belgian Drivers... they are as asocial as the vandriver. Making manoeuvers without watching and not respecting others that are faster. That's one of the main reasons, accidents happen. The Audi-driver is respectful. He keeps distance ànd he respects speed-limits. He anticipates in time to other car's manoeuvers.
I must say... i love the way he drives. Everyone should behave that way!

Persönlich finde ich auf einer 2 spurigen Autobahn über 200 km/h zu fahren, das kann dann schon mal ins auge gehen, egal wie gut man Auto fahren kann, man muss meistens immer mehr auf die anderen Verkehrsteilnehmer aufpassen als auf sich selber. Greets
Also wenn man so schaut, sieht nice aus aber die Aktion von 2:40 hm.. dein glück und sein auch, dass er dich in letzter Moment gesehen hat und zurückzieht sonst würdest du mit min. 190 km rein gefahren, von deinem Audi wäre es nichts geblieben und von dir noch weniger. Also ärgere ich mich über solche Leute. Das Auto ist natürlich ein Wahnsinn!
+Dejan Deki Ich weiß nicht ob du einen a6 schonmal gefahren bist aber der wäre bei einer Vollbremsung noch deutlich hinter dem van geblieben. Glaub mir ich spreche da aus Erfahrung...

2:40 happend to me at 240 kmh with a bus like this. fortunately with 3 or 4 lanes, so i could avoid on the right side, to close to break.
its funny how americans an foreigner feel about the german autobahn haha.
in USA happen 3x MORE crashes than in GER and 100 mph (160kmh) fell like an orgasm for them LOL. my first car had 250kmh (155 miles) max speed and driving about 220 kmh where regular speed for me at the "no limit" ways...
but i have UNDERSTANDING FOR THEM :)

Your car must be in excellent mechanical conditions to drive this fast this long. Cause if there's something wrong, one shaky tiny screw or tire that decide its own way... You'll have your great great grand dad asking you: "What are you doing here?"

Dieses 3-Speichen-Sportlenkrad... so schön. Viele Audis sehen innen soooo "alt" aus, weil die diesen 4-Speichen Multifunktionslenkrad nehmen, aber das 3-Speichen-Lenkrad ist richtig sexy. Naja und 3.0 TDI quattro ist ja eh eine Klasse für sich. :-) Gibt's bald mal wieder neue Audi-Videos Laserfrankie? Ich folge dir nur wegen denen.. :-)
we have no choice, a gallone standard gas (95 octane) costs about 7,80usd (1,60 €/liter). we have to use diesel ;)

@Ma3kte Ja, da bin ich absolut Deiner Meinung. So schön, die deutsche Autobahn und die Prämienautos sind (fahre selber einen 7er). 2 sperrige Autobahn über 200 Sachen wird's halt eng...
ein sehr schönes Auto hast du da! es währe cool wenn du noch mit einem A7 fahren würdest aber das blöde ist das der Innenraum vom A6 genau so aussieht wie der vom A7 :D

Vermutlich eher die Vmax der Winterreifen. Sixt stattet die Fahrzeuge fast immer mit V-Index Reifen aus.

Lack of speed control measures makes drivers better in terms of reactions and discipline, shame here in the UK we don't follow that.

Das entsteht durch die Saugnapfhalterung am Glasschiebedach. Offensichtlich verursacht das Vibrationen bei ca. 4000 Umdrehungen. Ohne die Saugnapfhalterung gibt es kein Vibrieren.

Oh, ich bin mir durchaus bewusst, dass die meisten, die sich über die "Autobahnraser" beschweren, selber kein Problem damit haben, mit 70 durch geschlossene Ortschaften oder mit 50 durch 30er-Zonen zu fahren. Viele von denen halten eine gelbe Ampel nicht für ein Signal zum bremsen sondern zum Gas geben. Und viele erzwingen sich auch hin und wieder mal in der Stadt die Vorfahrt oder zählen Blinken zum Datenschutz... Ich weiß das alles, keine Bange ;-) Auf die Doppelmoral ist immer Verlass.

Friend of mine decided to drive his 5 hour new gallardo like this guy. Within half a second, he hit something, car lost control, flipped a few times. His body was beyond recognition and seat belts at speeds like this speed are anyway no good. Sad part to me was not that he died but the fact that he killed an innocent security guard who made a living to feed his poor family of two daughters. Only a matter of time Mr.LaserFrankie kills himself and someone else too.

Im quite sure that everyone who watches the videos of Laserfrankie would like to sit next of him on the passenger seat while hes doing 240km/h+ on the Autobahn.
If someone really thinks he can move from the rightmost lane to the leftmost lane as quick as you say without even taking a good look at the left rearview mirror, this person shouldn't be driving at all.

Und an der Stelle nochmal Daumen hoch an Laserfrankie: Du fährst sehr passiv und freundlich, bei der Situation wären viele Fahrer dem Yaris halb im Kofferraum gehangen, allein damit ers checkt, dass er hier grade *etwas* knapp rausgezogen ist

Hat der ein schmales Leistungsband? Ansonsten kenne ich den "alten" 2006er 3.0 TDI eher als durchzugstarken Allrounder. Da braucht(e) man eigentlich nicht schalten.

Of course I flashed him, since it was a van driver and van drivers are known to pull such stunts. It may not look that way but there would have been enough time and space left to avoid a collision. Video footage sometimes fools you.

My dream is lost. I live in Brazil and always hated the way people drive in motorways here. I aways had Germany as the supreme example on motorway driving... stills better than Brazil's, but not as far as I once thought. I'm disappointed... the quality of the motorway itself again surprised me: many motorways here are better. Very well paid they are and not as straight, I must add, but max speed limit here is 120 km/h.

P.S.: Aber man sieht wie zäh der A6 ab 200kmh wird. Geschuldet dem Gewicht und der Stirnfront.

because it is the a6 is very comfy up to speeds of 250... they dont go faster for security reasons^^
that is always why i dont dare to drive on high speeds on the autobahn.. im always scared such thing would happen and i will not react right....
Warum das? Weil bis zum 4. Gang sonst keine Traktion erreicht wird und bei schneller Gangart dauernd geschaltet werden muss? Kann nur anhand meiner eigenen Erfahrung in nem Octavia II RS TDI CR (6MT) raten.

Dieser Geschwindigkeitswarner *piiieeep* oder was das sein soll würde mich ja dermaßen nerven. Das lenkt doch ab.
Für Mich war letzte Woche die gefahrlichste Moment das 1 Lastwage hat angefangen überholen eine andere und derjenige hat gas gegeben. Es hat dann so ca 3-4 Minute lang gedaeuert bis Er vertig war. Aber interessant war das bis beide nebeneinander waren hat schnell gegangen nur danach war sehr langsam. Aber wo der vertig war und schon zurück in seine Spur hat gebremst. Zwischenzeit habe Ich auch gas gegeben aber der welche War überholt hat angefangen überholen weil der andere hat gebremst...
Ich finde es interessant, wie sich anscheinend manche Leute mit dem Van-Fahrer identifizieren. "Okay, gut, er hat halt die Vorfacht missachtet, nicht in den Spiegel geschaut, gepennt... aber DER ANDERE KAM JA AUCH SO SCHNELL AN!!"
