Johnny, No concerns about the weight of the pipe and road vibrations putting stress on the green plastic fitting? I have seen vinyl plastic covers for RV propane tanks, to keep them out of the weather.
Interesting explanation about the yellow gas line tape. I still have Teflon plumbing tape from several decades ago, it’s much thicker than modern plumbing tape.

Hi Stuart. Im pretty sure it’ll hold up, it’s really secure, the pipe is very light as well. I’ll know soon enough. Thanks though!

Tip for when you are putting teflon on the threads... Do what you did with covering the threads, but then run a bit of length past the threads further back on the pipe.
After you've threaded the fitting on you can then un-wind the extra teflon and it should remove the extra that isn't needed! This way there is no visible teflon tape once you're done. It's all where it needs to be.

Hey Johnny, if that was my trailer I would mount the regulator right to your battery box and then run a hose to it from the tank and out the bottom to your supply lines. There would be no rigidity in the system then. I feel like if you hit a good bump there would be a lot of force on your ‘L’ pipe. Just my 2 cents:)

We tested for leaks with soapy water correct.
