'Quiet Mind' - Quartet for bowed vibraphone by Joey Eng

Quiet Mind is a piece written for four percussionists, each using bows on the vibraphone. In my opinion, bowed vibraphone is one of the most beautiful and pure sounds that exists in modern music; the epitome of peace and serenity. I often find myself being swarmed by many buzzing thoughts and voices in my head, struggling to find which is the most important one to focus in on. But by centring myself and delving deep within my mind, I enter a place of tranquility and silence. This is what that silence sounds like.
