Why didn’t mention how she avoided the confrontation about Reese. Lieberman tried to minimize the effects of Reese’s actions and statements and Stephan A did’t push it he let her finish and went over it like it was nothing and went on WRONG Bring it out in the open don’t just go over it as if not said. Everyone is afraid. There’s more injustice and racism than ever before. Don’t ask young people or 30 to fifty year olds l am 81 years old. I’ve seen it and see it today. It’ much worse and getting worse by the day.

God bless you Ms. Lieberman. You may be the very first woman I’ve heard praise & respect Ms. Clark for her accomplishments & who she is as a person. Her talent, hard work & humility are all traits that made her the best. You’re looking at her true value & keeping ego out of the equation. Her greatness shouldn’t hurt any one else, because it doesn’t take away from past greats. Thank you

I'm a former D1 athlete from the early 2000's and I reaped off the insane hard work that former women in athletics plowed through before me. Clark has been signing autgraphs for young girls for the past four years. She's still signing autographs on the jerseys she sells after every game. She started a foundation that supports children with nutrition, education, and healthcare. I don't hear anyone talkìng about the connection shes made with the communiities in Iowa. She is a great role model for young girls. Many of the players are great role models. The Dallas team could certainly offer a discounted ticket for kids under 15 who want to meet the players. A little effort goes a long ways. Thanks I enjoy your show, Chris

Caitlyn Clark, Angel Reese and Aja Wilson are the bag for the WNBA. Protect the bag!! Can you imagine what would happen if Caitlyn Clark suffered a career ending injury due to one of these flagrant foul purposely aimed in her direction. The WNBA would be over!! Fans would deem the remaining players undeserving of support because they would feel the players sabotaged her and would boycott the WNBA. If they think fans didn’t show up before… let Caitlyn Clark get hurt and see what happens.

The problem with the WNBA is that the old guard are demanding respect and acknowledgment that they feel they should have. And they are demanding it from a generation that didn’t see them play. The people of their generation didn’t care for them. They didn’t want to watch them. So now that they see this new guard being praised they feel disrespected. They are blinded by their ego. And there’s where the jealousy and resentment comes from. But these are not their fans. These are this new generation fans. These new players look up to them. Idolize them. Want to learn from them and be mentored by them. So if the old guard want to be praised by these “new fans” they have to embrace these new players and their fans will notice that and start to give them their flowers as well. Cause let’s be honest. Before the new fans came you couldn’t really talk about a fan base for the WNBA matches weren’t sold out. Merchandise wasn’t sold out. Media wasn’t talking about them. So stop being jealous and ride that wave

Someone with some power needs to appoint Nancy Leiberman as commissioner of the WNBA asap. Enough of this analyst sht. WNBA has been shooting itself in the foot for so long that they need a shake up from top to bottom and remarketing of the league. Remember less than two years ago that the most relevant WNBA player was Britney Griner. This is no different than the NBA of the late 70s needing to clean up its mess (in the form of its perception to middle america). It began to do that when Magic and Bird arrived. Well, Caitlin Clark's arrived and I like her because she's a woman who is exposing why the WNBA hasn't made a profit. Men like her and the other women don't. We're happy CC's getting paid (so we don't have to hear complaining about being paid less than the men). They're the ones who are too short sighted to see a rising tide lifts all ships.

I was at ODU while Nancy played there. Not a lot of student housing. Two dorms, Rogers and Gresham ( Roger’s 2nd floor ruled!), then Holiday Inn Scope, because they hadn’t yet finished the new Powhatan section down by the water. I worked part time with the bounty rainbow sports helping teach gymnastics and I lifeguarded at the pool with Sue Richardson at lunch, which meant we checked ids and watched lap swimming. Nancy was a LEGEND when she walked into the dining room. EVERYBODY knew her. Her teammates were in awe, the students, the community, the professors. She handled it all really well. Do you know how rare iIt was to SEE an Olympian in PERSON? The men had just won the division 2 championship, so there was basketball energy. No football at the school, so we lived and died basketball. And Nancy took us all the way to the championships and beat UCLA and put our school on the MAP! My son graduated from ODU , and I certainly mentioned the basketball team on more than a couple of occasions. It’s amazing how sports really does play such an important part in our lives. Either as a participant or a spectator, it defines and inspires. Nancy was the ORIGINAL GOAT, and her Jersey was hanging in the new arena they built when I took him for his orientation.

There is a concerted effort by the league and the media to minimize her skill and impact to uplift other players. It's really sad to see so many black women doing this. Especially when we as black women have a long documented history of people doing this to us --its called discrimination. Give Clark her flowers and stop being jealous haters. Jealousy is such an ugly and weak emotion. The only reason why she isn't being completed stomped out is because her fan base is loud and strong and we will not allow people to keep undermining her impact and success.

You're backing down the truth is Caitlin Clark was better than most of the girls on the Olympic team and that is just the truth she has the leading assist record in the WNBA right now she has one of the highest shooting percentage records in the WNBA right now and she is doing pretty good on defense she needs to work on her defense more but to say she is not better than one player on the Olympic team is just stupid when she is better than more than half of them right now

Thank you Stephen A for bringing light to women’s basketball yes, it is very very wrong for the women that came before Clark to be jealous and have an attitude they should be supporting her because she’s lifting up the women’s basketball game and every freaking area Ride this train like to man dude like Jordan Magic Johnson, Kobe Bryant ride this train women get your feelings out of this game and get on this train of success let this player Clark do her thing and ride this train with the women’s basketball team sometime in life God send certain people to do certain things we are all children of the most high God no one is better than each other. We are all blessed by God. God has always given every man a measure of faith, so if Clark got faith in her ability that is what God has given her so all these other women need to stop, whining and complaining and stop trying to hurt her on the basketball court unacceptable certain people come alone once in a lifetime to transcend the game to different levels in life get on this train, stop whining, and complaining and start thanking God for the money that’s gonna be made in this journey now women can be able to get what they always want it that man has always had finances to be able to take care of your family and support your children Look at all the thousands of children watching you play basketball they dreaming of one day they can be just like you. Hallelujah.

They won't. They don't care. It's a poorly run league. They're going to get fianced by the NBA anyways.

Caitlin needed to stay exactly where she was. Resting for the second half. Olympics would have done her no good. That rest has her shooting percentage up, turnovers are down. She carried a college team all year and turned around and started for a bad Fever team. Look at them now.

The Dallas player showed respect and admiration for Caitlyn Clark, SAS missed that one. The Dallas player was not critiquing their fans, it was all in fun. Way to go to number zero.

I disagree with the hard fouls are behind us .
    Game 1 of playoffs ...
that was a defining foul that almost ended Caitlin's ability to see !
    It was laughed at !

Nancy L talking about how her own experience being chosen as the youngest player on the Olympics team for the future of the game > veterans who will not be getting much minutes is what NEEDS TO BE SAID
We do not need to build on a legacy of a player of the past who will no longer contribute in games nor results
That is strictly an individual record for no purpose to the larger picture of the sport
Olympic team should have sent CC for the future of the game, giving her the experience to lead in future Olympics, for economical purposes, for spreading the WNBA worldwide further (imagine all the foreign TV broadcasting rights they could have sold if CC went off in the Olympics and drawn an even larger audience!!)
Thankfully CC made full use of the Olympic break to get the rest she needed and training she needed with her team to grow their chemistry, but what a loss for WNBA and the sport as a whole

I can’t respect this woman when she says Caitlin’s not a phenomenal talent. Lady she’s prob top 3 in the league…….Clearly. Smashed every college record and will do the same in wnba if racism doesn’t rid her of the league. Racism against Caitlin from the black players is such a light that needs to be shined on. It’s reality.
