Ya, I agree. The same with me. I was the last to find the last great find for the region, right after Heroes Shelton found the Savanna collection, but that was back in 2010. I do find fun things every once in a while, but it's like walking through a vast desert in search for an oasis.
Awesome pick up's bro. I just left my LCS and found star wars #2 and Darth Maul #1 high grade for a combined 50 $ thanks for all the information on Hunting.
I am happy for you. Comics at garage sales? Yeah I just don’t run into those in Minnesota but I don’t go a day early so maybe I miss out. When I had sales years ago they would show up a day early with sob story of being out of town. I just told them sorry. But anyway I did find 2 silver age lois lane comics sitting there at a neighborhood sale for $5 Not keys but early sixties and I picked them up. Just fun. Then went to a video game sale that has some comics later. Got there a half hour later and all the video guys were there but then two long boxes of $1 books and actually found stuff in nice condition that I would read. Dr Who and green lantern. So I bought about 36. They had a bunch of warlord but wasn’t interested. He had other higher books but they seemed retail and I was in garage sale mode by then. Crisis supergirl for $25 and flash for $15. I guess I just really really like comics that are priced at garage sale prices. Oops sorry went sideways. Anyway nice video. TY
I had some serious FOMO the last two weekends - we headed out of town last Friday and got back into town this weekend, and there were TONS of garage sales and even neighborhood-wide garage sales on both weekends, and I missed them all. I'm sure they all had comics that I missed out on, but if I would have been able to go they wouldn't have had any 🤣
@@Stickygoose The trick is when you go out of town, say with the spouse, you go out early and hunt in your area. Just make sure when you get back by 11 and have treats with coffee so when they ask "where were you?" you say out getting breakfast. In your backpack are two AF15 and a tec27 😂🤑
I completely understand the guy not wanting even an acquaintance rooting through the personal collection. It’s one thing to have stuff for sale, fine and good, but I don’t want anyone to know the actual location of high value keys in my house. I’ve got 120+ longboxes and nobody is rifling through those, even friends, certainly if I don’t know how carefully they’d handle them. (I have everything alphabetized A-Z regardless of publisher. Some high grade Golden age is alphabetized next to lower grade Bronze & Copper. Sometimes, you seem to overextend your wants in your video.
He most likely knew you’d attempt to barter in regards to his personal collection, which is y he didn’t wanna show it to you.. sometimes it’s hard to refuse good money, so it’s better to not even go down that road #GreatHaul #subscribed 💯💪🏽💪🏽

I'm a big Justice League fan/collector. Wasn't aware of the significance of that issue. First time I've seen that issue. Gonna make that the next book to look out for. Great finds.
You're welcome! ❤
Thanks again!
Nice pickups. That Marvel Premiere title run is LOADED with keys. Almost every issue has something special about it.

@@Stickygoose I collect. I have no overhead other than my search effort. I definitely pay way more than a shop or retailer ever will. and have.
You make great comic book videos. Greetings from Finland.
Glad you like them! Im gonna keep on doing them haha

@@Stickygoose hey I appreciate that bro. I'm a former addict so I like to try and spread the message.
You passed over several major and minor keys, including several issues of Iron man armor wars from the 80s
There were a lot of keys in the boxes, many of which I had or were in a condition I did not want

@@Stickygoose yeah I see that too but maybe these guys are just lucky or just live n an area without much competition. Just not sure.

HEY, you just flipped past first Darth Bane.... I bought that comic last month lol
Hey! I flipped through a lot of good books but that’s just not something I collect
I’m from Charleston. I’ve been in the south for over 30’s, but you never forget your roots.
The south is the best
Looked like a fun garage hunt
early morning but fun
Nice finding ! bro

Yep, in Portland, OR I will find good comics in 1 out of 100 estate sales. It is pretty rare.
I would think that would be a hot bed
I am also trying to break that habit of having to buy something because I drove "there".
that really hurt me when I went to that big lick comic con show one of the worst moves ive ever made
Nice sale! 1st Mongul front and center! Congrats on the pickups!
always good to walk up and see that right away
Silver surfer run is amazing
I wouldve picked up that copy of The Awesome Slapstick #2 .. It's only a 4 issue set. I buy all the ones I run across in real good shape.
The other day there was a garage sale of just comics and collectibles… but, all the asm had been bought 😂 Still some nice finds though.

Cool story
Great comic book garage sale video. 😀👍
Glad you enjoyed it
Should have gotten the 1st jubilee but great haul!
nice book but I already have a copy
@@Stickygoose I'm trying to get several copies bc it'll probably be a 100$ book when she comes to the mcu

Good point!
You went by Wolverine 145 like it was nothing. If that was the gold foil you missed an ultra rare modern grail.

You missed the first Jubilee appearance and alot of it looked like $1.00 books.
I didn’t miss it just don’t want it
