Good project , but the speaker coil should go to the Port side.. better cooling for the voicecoil 😊

A friend built a box something like this for me. But I had two 10's each one sealed side by side. But one woofer had to be in reverse polarity to work. But everybody thought I had 15's it was loud and didn't take much power. Good job !!
Sounds like he/she built an Isobaric enclosure for you.
You have to wire them in opposite phase so that they push/pull together, since they face each other :)
@@KidCoyle we had them inverted from each other. I don't think that really matters you still have to have them wired reverse polarity. And the box was huge!

Hi......I have pioneer 312d4 I want to use it at home......any ideas on the best cabinet design for perfect bass.
Slot ported or aeroported vented speaker cabinet is very nice for that driver.
100% do a transmission line! Tons of work but man does it pay off! I recommend using a transmission line calculator online and plugging in your subwoofer's specs. They sound absolutely amazing when done properly. Maybe only do this if you are fairly experienced building boxes though, unless you want the challenge! :)

Should have inverted the woofers motor into the ported side to take advantage of the thermal effects.
You can inverted the mounting set the phase into 180°. But this subwoofer box is design for home theater only not for db drag use that is why it is fine to mount the subwoofer that way.

Makes sense, friction on the outside with the air movement. Seems like it would make for less air movement on the 0d side though. Possibly adjust inside partition for balance? Nice DIY!
Don’t overpower or clip the woofer and you don’t need to worry.

Mas malakas pa kami sa jbl party box 710 yan. I heard it na max power ng jbly party box iwan bass nun sa bass neto. Low bass pa ito ung party box mejo mataas ang bass. Distorted na tunog kpg lowbass ang ponatugtog ng partybox.

i made desame size of 4rth bandpass.. the bass came from this kind of speaker box ia massive bass output....we have a jbl 710 in terms of bass.sheeess walang panama 710jbl ..i swear dude..

Bandpass boxes make the best subwoofer boxes.Only thing I would have done different would be to add rubber feet instead of plastic.

boss, pano tamang pag calculate at pag tune ng bandpass box, may d10 sub ako ung cubic feet volume ng sealed part is 0.6(cubic ft.) tapos 1.68(cubic ft.) sa may cone side or kung saan ko i ttune ung port,,, tama po ba pagka calculate ko sa volume o masyado malaki? atsaka pano po kagaya sa mga thai concept na ang liit ng box tas ang laki ng port pero parang ang baba parin ng tuning frequency? baguhan plng po ako sa pagtune ng box sana masagot.. thanks po

Yo tengo una así, el tablero del medio le hice ranuras y lo encastre, y el ducto o bass reflex no lo dejo enfrente a el parlante sino que a un ángulo de 15 grados, eso mejora la frecuencia de resonancia y evita el resoplo

May nakita akong Bose brand na subwoofer 12 inches ginagamit namin sa function nong sa saudi pa ako. Napakalakas' parang di mo malalaman kung saan galing ang tunog. . Ang design nya ay parang ganyan dn s video n yan kaso nakataub ang speaker at ung butas nya s itaas ay retangular 3" by 6" at 2" lng ang distance galing s itaas. Paliit ang butas nya habang paoob (parang trumpeta rectangular size). Ung butas nmn nya s ibaba ay nasa harapan dn parehas lang dn ang sukat ng butas at distance s itaas n butas.. midyo nagulat lng ako s distance ng speaker papuntang ibaba kasi nasa 5 inches lng papuntang sahig ng speaker', ibig sabihin makapa mo lng ung cone ng speaker galing s butas.

Boss mas malakas ba ang double magnet kay sa isa lang
Kung same na 500watts ung double magnet at single magnet eh same lang sila ng handling power. Sa frequency response nlng sila nagkakaiba. Malimit ang single magnet na malapad diameter ng coil ay mas mataas frequency response. While, ung double magnet kalimitan subwoofer yan kya mas malalim ang xmax or travel excursion kya mas mababang frequency ang kaya niya ibigay.

Same lang ang series or parallel. Nakadepende yan sa amplifier na gagamitin mo kung ano impedance magmamatch. Meaning kung ang amplifier na gagamitin mo jan is 1000watts @ 4 ohms stable load dpt series wiring mo jan. Kung 1000watts @ 1 ohm stable load nmn ang gagamitin mo amplifier dpt parallel connection nmn ang gagawin mong wiring. Kya inimbenta ang dual voice coil pra mgamit sa ibat ibang amplifiers.

Ung 1000 watts rms in 4ohms load or 1ohm load. Kc dvc 2 ohms eto pwede iwire na 4 ohms or 1 ohm.
