I'm comparing the BEST phone cameras for taking Hair Photos including the new iPhone 11 Pro Max, Samsung Galaxy Note 10+, and an older version iPhone 6S Plus to show you which phone has the best camera for us hairstylists!
One of my most asked questions is “Jamie, what kind of camera do you use?” While I typically use a DLSR in a the salon, I was curious what phone camera would take the best photos in different light settings and what I found was so interesting!
It really DOES make a difference what phone camera you are using and the results are so obvious!

I'm definitely not surprised that the Android camera shot great. I'm an iPhone user and even I know that Android cameras are better 🤣🤣
I'm honestly thinking about investing in a camera and just learn a little bit of photography for taking the hair photos that I envision!
I think the 11 is more true to tone and the middle bone looks so warm

I see you do lowlights straight into the bleached blonde. How do you do that without filling the hair first ?? Ps your work is amazing
So moral of this check up is.. 😂 get a new high end gadget . Invest in your tools to get the best results together with your skills/ expertises.. I just gut my Dyson - Professional versión .

Honestly the Samsung looks the worst! Was hoping to see that we don’t have to spend that much money on a new iPhone but this one clearly takes the best pictures and the realest picture. The Samsung just looks blurry and changes the tones to warm

Do you have a recommendation on an app that I can use to take a curtain hair photo ?
I used to be iPhone 8 then I noticed just how warm all the pics of hair came out so I switched to Samsung s20 so much better!
Still debating on what phone I’m going to invest in next.

Huawei mate 30 pro is the best camera ever no comparison
Iphone 11 pro max is the best for hair photography beacause it looks natural.
