Are you just starting out in the industry and feel like you’re not really sure where you belong when it comes to Instagram? Do you feel like you’re not sure what to post because you’re still in school, assisting, or practicing on doll heads?
I know this industry can be over saturated with amazing photos of beautiful work that has taken years to master and when you are starting out it can feel super intimidating and overwhelming to take it all in.
It’s so easy to compare yourself to someone who has mastered Instagram and their profession and that comparison can feel ESPECIALLY strong when you’re not sure about your skills.

I created this video for cosmetology students and hairstylists who are newer to this industry because I know when I started out, I wish I had these resources that are now available to you!
I think it’s so important to document your work and your life starting out in this industry because it’s only going to get you where you want to go faster professionally, but it’s also giving you the resources to master Instagram from the very start.

i have virgin black hair and want to go to a dark caramely, honey, buttery blonde. after bleaching, my hair became quite light but it’s pretty yellow and brassy. do i tone it then dye it a dark golden blonde? or do i skip the toner and dye it a dark neutral/ash blonde to balance it out? i was thinking of mixing a neutral blonde with the dark gold. would i still have to tone?
I don't give out formula advice because so much of that depends on what you see in person. So sorry to disappoint! I would recommend checking out stylist's in your area on instagram and setting up a consultation with them to see what the next step is for you. Thanks for watching!
