Hi, I'm writing from hell because I'm dead from drawing in such a detailed style for this thing(why did I think that was a good idea...).
Not exactly totally satisfied with how it turned out? but you know what it's done finally..after like a month ARE YOU PROUD OF ME MA?!

Jeremy and Michael are my sons and my sons in law, and I love them.
It hurts to see them hurt each other like this..
I will not excuse Jeremy’s actions (my boi’s made some really poor life decisions), but I cannot bring myself to hate him in slightest. He’s been through a lot of crap over the years, and songs like “Loser Geek Whatever” help illustrate that and explain his actions.
You know, looking back on it, when Michael was questioning the origins of the squib he asked the question that not only put this whole thing into perspective, but also really should have opened Jeremy's eyes about his current predicament. What WAS that squib doing inside Jeremy? For all intents and purposes Jeremy was a loser, as harsh as that may sound, he even acknowledges that nothing has ever gone right for him, and then suddenly the universe is giving him everything he's ever wanted in the form of a pill shaped super computer. How could he not see that something foul was at hand? Or at least be somewhat suspicious of his sudden luck? Especially if his life sucked as bad as he said it did, and I get that he was just so excited with finally feeling like he was a somebody that he was probably overwhelmed, but still. Jeremy has his rules for surviving high school for a reason, he's learned the hard way that nothing in life goes right without SOME kind of pushback. So what made him disregard Michaels findings? Was it Michaels tone when he made that observation? Or was it the insinuation that BECAUSE he was a loser this should have never happened in the first place? That it was only popular people, like Jake, that could ever have anything important happen to them? Or was it simply because he didn't care? He just didnt care that he could be seriously harmed or die if the squib decided he wanted to take the reigns from Jeremy permanently, which it already had started to do by that point, if it meant he could have a even a TASTE of what the otherside was like. It's so interesting looking back at it and I can't help but feel like he was Pandora in that moment. He knew that there was something in that tiny, unassuming pill. Whether he was coerced into swallowing it or not can be debated, but the fact of the matter was that he let this pill consume him and he gave into his desire of knowing what made this pill so special and opened the metaphorical box, and like Pandora, he was not truly aware of what he had unwittingly unleashed when he decided to sate his curiosity.
I'm late to the party but yeah... How come Jeremy was just defending the squip when it almost got him raped by a Chloe and beaten up by Jake? The squip caused Jeremy to hurt the people around him that he actually cares about, but when someone shows concern, he immediately disregards them or brushes it off?

Ah. But in the Squip’s defense: it WAS genuinely trying to help him. Joe confirmed that the Squip honest-to-god was just trying to meet Jeremy’s goals. The problem was that it is a computer with no sense of morality, and Jeremy continuously encouraged its less-than-stellar behavior. Not saying it was right to do what it did, but I am saying it did nothing out of any intent to harm or be evil - it did what it learned worked. In Be More Chill, the real antagonist to Jeremy’s protagonist IS Jeremy.

I've seen comments defending jeremy and I agree but he called his best friend aka the one person trying to help a "loser" which would hit close to home because they were always losers together. Think about how Michael felt knowing the person he called a friend and who stuck with him through everything just called him something they use to be together. Michael just lost his player two....
