I usually click on something that looks appealing and promising. I don't want to judge your ways but I think the amount of views doesn't say anything about the quality of the video ( just the popularity ). Videos like this would never get much views or attention if nobody clicks on them thinking it doesn't have enough views :)

I don't know anything about Be More Chill but I've watched this a zillion times already just because I love everything you did here, your expressions are amazing!
So let me summarize it for you : So this guy wants to be popular and win the affections of his crush but doesn't really know how, but then his bully , Tells him about this pill that contains a super computer that you take with Mt.dew and when you do it will transplant in your brain and will tell you, how to be a better person. So yeah he actually gets one for 400$ and it basically tells him that he needs to change everything about him and he becomes a big jerk to everyone including his best friend, Michael, and a lot of things happen but in the end he manages to get rid of the squip with Mt.dew red and makes up with Michael, He manages to date his crush and everything is cool. (Sorry if it was crappy )

This is stunning. First off, it's pretty difficult to animate because its constantly one small space, a bathroom and most people don't focus on backgrounds, rather expression. Or they do which leads to crapy backgrounds. But you perfectly balanced both so nice job! As well not to mention the fluid moments. And to top it off, all the wonderful angles that fit the song wonderfully. Last thing to add : Beautiful ocs man!

In fact in the story I wrote that's exactly what happened, they were friends, she chose not to talk to him anymore to hang out with more popular people (this is why I drew this animatic, because Michael's circumstances were really similar to my OC Tony's) Anyway... In the novel, Michael actually does meet a girl at the party, Nicole. She doesn't make it into the musical. The writer of the musical's script, in fact, implied the Michael might be gay.

This has to be one of the best animatics I've ever seen. I don't begrudge others for their simplistic approach because I know how much work it takes to do a single frame. In the musical, he was actually having a panic attack and imagined the knocking and clanging, and that's why it stopped when he splashed water in his face and calmed down for a minute.
Everything about this was amazing!!! Especially the facial expressions and how he moved, you got the emotions of this song d o w n. Also a huge kudos for making use of the times where the music drops and George's voice gets rough on "Michael," rarely anyone ever does anything with it.
Don't push them. It takes a looooot of time and effort to get one of these out. We wouldn't wanna ruin the fun of animatics for them and make it stressful. :)

ahh i love this! youve gone to the effort to include facial expressions and motions like how i imagined him gesticulating mockingly when he says 'rides a PT cruiser, god he's such a loser', the ok sign at the end, etc, it reallys does the voice acting a lot of justice when you go to such great lengths to include every single motion and emotion that michael's actor portrayed.
First off, I'm in love with this OC. Second, the motions are truly pleasing to my eyes. I just love the expressions, the angles, and just this overall product. Like, it is obvious your hard work paid off. I'm so much in love with this. I've rewatched it so many times.

This is my first time seeing any work from you ever, I just got into the animatic scene and my love and respect for them has grown immensely since then and can I say how gorgeous this is?... I have a niche when it comes to animatics, movement, strong expressions, and a nice style... you put all of these together in a glorious way that I haven't seen any of the other animatics do and I've been binging these things for a couple months now and genuinely yours is the best. Because it is not only that the movement and expressions are there but its always really clean despite the sketchy style, it is not roughed up it's super solid. The movements are so natural and human and really give you a feel for the oc even if the song isn't directly for them. You can learn so much from a person demeanor from the faces and gestures they make an OH BOY is Tony exhibiting some great personality through these movements. I clicked the video cause I was like 'oh this one has a nice style, kind of realistic not super chibi or anything (Not that anything wrong with that just something different you know) and its got backgrounds...the backgrounds probably gonna disappear half in but its cool for right now' Well you backhanded me in the face and said look here kid, this whole thing has BACKGROUNDS, PERSPECTIVE, a solid character, solid movements despite only being an animatic, solid character traits and expressions and a fluid, controlled background like WHAT IS THIS!? I don't know anything about this artist DO YOU WORK FOR A COMPANY THIS IS A+ WORK WTH. YOU HAFT TO! I am going to be coming back to this...so often its super inspiring ugh. Edit: 4:10 - the end is so powerful and good looking, everything from teh music to teh expressions resonates with me a bit more then it probably should but ho boy does it.
Every now and then when I need more inspiration, I come and rewatch this. It's loaded with so many emotions and it's got so much thought put into it! Creative "camera" angles and super awesome expressions/gestures! This is probably my favorite animatic out there, thanks so much for making this!!

This entire animatic is extremely well done, there's so much personality pushed into the character expressions/movements that ties the nice looking art together and it meshes really well with the song! My favorite part is the very end with the 👌 of shame
This is my favorite animatic EVER!!! How are you not famous yet????? The expressions were absolutely on point, plus the angles that you drew are so incredibly difficult to get right, let alone have it convey the emotions that you did expertly. The bathroom is extremely detailed and I like the use of a key lock, it adds a lot to the realism of it. I was trying to find things to critique but I honestly can't find anything (I'm not a very good artist either so maybe that's why), this is amazing and I love it SO much and cannot wait to see what other fantastic things you have to offer!

In the musical, he was actually having a panic attack and imagined the knocking and clanging, and that's why it stopped when he splashed water in his face and calmed down for a minute.
I literally screamed when this was over. This is one of the best animatics I have ever seen, and I watch a lot.

Everything about this was amazing!!! Especially the facial expressions and how he moved, you got the emotions of this song d o w n. Also a huge kudos for making use of the times where the music drops and George's voice gets rough on "Michael," rarely anyone ever does anything with it.

ahh i love this! youve gone to the effort to include facial expressions and motions like how i imagined him gesticulating mockingly when he says 'rides a PT cruiser, god he's such a loser', the ok sign at the end, etc, it reallys does the voice acting a lot of justice when you go to such great lengths to include every single motion and emotion that michael's actor portrayed.

First off, I'm in love with this OC. Second, the motions are truly pleasing to my eyes. I just love the expressions, the angles, and just this overall product. Like, it is obvious your hard work paid off. I'm so much in love with this. I've rewatched it so many times.

This is my first time seeing any work from you ever, I just got into the animatic scene and my love and respect for them has grown immensely since then and can I say how gorgeous this is?... I have a niche when it comes to animatics, movement, strong expressions, and a nice style... you put all of these together in a glorious way that I haven't seen any of the other animatics do and I've been binging these things for a couple months now and genuinely yours is the best.
Because it is not only that the movement and expressions are there but its always really clean despite the sketchy style, it is not roughed up it's super solid. The movements are so natural and human and really give you a feel for the oc even if the song isn't directly for them. You can learn so much from a person demeanor from the faces and gestures they make an OH BOY is Tony exhibiting some great personality through these movements.
I clicked the video cause I was like 'oh this one has a nice style, kind of realistic not super chibi or anything (Not that anything wrong with that just something different you know) and its got backgrounds...the backgrounds probably gonna disappear half in but its cool for right now' Well you backhanded me in the face and said look here kid, this whole thing has BACKGROUNDS, PERSPECTIVE, a solid character, solid movements despite only being an animatic, solid character traits and expressions and a fluid, controlled background like WHAT IS THIS!? I don't know anything about this artist DO YOU WORK FOR A COMPANY THIS IS A+ WORK WTH. YOU HAFT TO! I am going to be coming back to this...so often its super inspiring ugh.
Edit: 4:10 - the end is so powerful and good looking, everything from teh music to teh expressions resonates with me a bit more then it probably should but ho boy does it.

Instead of just focusing on the character's face or movements like other animatics you essentially did full cinematography?? That's amazing. This entire animatic is extremely well done, there's so much personality pushed into the character expressions/movements that ties the nice looking art together and it meshes really well with the song! My favorite part is the very end with the 👌 of shame

This is my favorite animatic EVER!!! How are you not famous yet????? The expressions were absolutely on point, plus the angles that you drew are so incredibly difficult to get right, let alone have it convey the emotions that you did expertly. The bathroom is extremely detailed and I like the use of a key lock, it adds a lot to the realism of it. I was trying to find things to critique but I honestly can't find anything (I'm not a very good artist either so maybe that's why), this is amazing and I love it SO much and cannot wait to see what other fantastic things you have to offer!
