Oh well… I fast forward and trust that the next clip will be less frustrating😊🤣
I noticed it as well. I had a 65 Beetle many years ago. It looked about the same year. I cut the fenders out and the back end off. I installed big snow tires on the back with the rims backwards so they dished out. I put lights on the roof and 8' whips on the back and the number 69 on the doors. I had a cheap Baja Bug. I had a hole lot of fun with that bug. Seeing that white beetle brought back a hole lot of fond memories. They were 6V but I changed mine over to 12V but left the 6V starter. They could take the 12Vs and it spun over faster. With the motor open I started it many times with a long ratchet on the bolt that held the pulley on. Parts were cheap back then because there was a lot of junk ones lying around.
Daniel Daniel! I advised you a good while back to ignore the sat-nav it'll lead to disasters, the best is do your homework with an old fashioned map ,ask truck driver's taxi drivers whenever your at a cafe, the hotel the night before, some have root planners, this was so unnecessary,.
I’d say Wilbers suspension and RikRak have been tested but Danny I’m surprised you didn’t check your phone realizing the roads didn’t make sense but it did bring a much more adventurous ride for sure

As a loyal follower, I know you work very hard to grow your RUclips channel, what I don’t understand why would you allow subscribers to be confused about your Latin American journey, I lost interest once your bike turned up in Miami, fundraising in Victoria and so it goes on, I am aware that you are always weeks and months ahead of your actual journey with safety in mind, however for the subscribers it becomes far less interesting because the journey becomes predictable.
We all know that your phone map settings were wrong and that you didn’t realise until after you got home again but seriously mate, blind Freddy wouldn’t have gone on that goat track. Invest in a proper gps or learn how to use google maps offline at the very least. Every episode you seem to get in trouble and every episode locals help you out, but you still don’t seem to learn. It was a matter of time before luck just ran out.
Danny is unlike most people, he lives in the present moment. Meaning he does what he wants, he lives on the edge. You learn more in failure then success. Good on you mate you wear your heart on your sleeve and portray real issues. And to you guys hating your part of the statistic of 95% of people on there death bed regretting they have not really lived life on there own terms. Lets not forget that Danny raises money for charity, he's done more then most of you will ever do in a lifetime of good. to judge someone by one bad experiences is pathetic. What he chooses to do with his money and how he lives is his right. When your on the road for long hours and high elevation your choices are not always the best. Have some compassion it's not your place to be judge jury executioner. People make mistakes. Even people who know better make mistakes. Unless you've been in there shoes you can't judge. Good on you mate. if people aren't hating your doing something wrong. Oh how stupid... thank goodness Ithchy Boots is back.
She is a genius compared to Danny! Then again I think almost anybody is after this crap!
If you have to ask a stranger for food, you know you've F'd up. a few times...
This is what true madness looks like.
I’m done
Danny’s next adventure, gets invited to dinner by a tribe of friendly hunters. He’s the main course.
Putting money in that young girl's pocket, if she even had a pocket, was the most cringe thing I've seen in a while. (Other than 90% of this video.) Sold your soul to the Aussie version of Hollywierd!
why did you even bother dragging those knobbies all over and then taking them off...another genius move
Sorry… I’ll come back later… and fast forward through the dirt tracks sections… Too frustrating to watch 🥴🥴 Common sense should prevail…
Roger .... at what point does one say to one's self.... "let me check the fuckin nav settings" .. takes 10 seconds 🤦
@@StuHNomadBiker I know. I mean I have been watching Danny for some years now… but I find I’m just becoming more frustrated with each clip that shows common sense such as; BOM Check for weather; city to city stay on highway; wet weather have clip on visor handy for open face lid… basic common sense. Oh well… I fast forward and trust that the next clip will be less frustrating😊🤣
I love the expression on the girl's face: "stupid fucking gringo".
He is an Australian common sense in sort supply over there 😉
@@duckf I would hate to think MDB is represntative of the average Aussie's common sense allocation!!!
As a long haul ride, I thought you would be more prepared as far as food and water. You should have something with you at all times. Good luck Danny.
Don’t come to the US and put our Emergency Services Personnel at unnecessary risk. Selfish.
4:49 ... check out that VW Beetle ... looks like it's brand new. Such a showpiece!
That is indeed a beauty!
that caught my attention also...
Me too
Looked to be about a 66
I noticed it as well.
Yeah, we already know he's an idiot, this was just blatant clickbait bullshit.
Surprised ??? why, did you think he had someone with any common sense riding with him.
Millionaire asks for a push, then asks for food, lol.
Keep pushing on, the goat trail will eventually turn into a 4 lane highway.
Looks like you’ve found your death road . What a fine ness you’ve gotten yourself into this time Danny !
Danny's discovered the lesser known, but still treacherous, Ecuadorian Death Road!!!!!!🤣
Yer done with the guy after this one
Search and rescue. Also provide a detailing service. What a bunch of legends both the local people and the emergency team!!!! We are all going to need caring people like this one day or mulitiple in our lives, through or due to the fault of others
Mate, the emotions I felt through you watching this....Screw what anyone says, this is the most unique motorcycle content on the internet right now. Period. It's a mix of Harleys, insanity, human endurance and crazy audacious actions that no one in their right mind would think to make. Hats off to you and a life being lived!
💯 Said it way better than I have been able to. Went down the rabbit hole with a few arm chair haters and should have continued scrolling. Danny's the man! Love his stuff and I ain't one of those guys that fast forwards his stuff. In fact I watch his videos more than just one time...👊🤘
Holly crap Danny you are going to give me a heart attack you are one hell of a worrier mate...... you are a real rider, not those who judge you whilst they sit on their lounge and only take the bike out when its not too hot, or not raining or when there is not too much traffic....... haters will hate
Nothing like a tiki tour off the beaten track, glad you ok
We all know that your phone map settings were wrong and that you didn’t realise until after you got home again but seriously mate, blind Freddy wouldn’t have gone on that goat track.
Invest in a proper gps or learn how to use google maps offline at the very least. Every episode you seem to get in trouble and every episode locals help you out, but you still don’t seem to learn. It was a matter of time before luck just ran out.
Looks like you should have left the knobbies on. LOL
Me and you both know Danny 99% of people are just negative. may you never be placed amongst those timid souls who don't know victory nor defeat. And if you fail, least you failed while daring greatly.
Imagine wasting your entire life worrying about making 'content'.
The Rescue crew are just going to love turning out to this. I can imagine what they're going to say, it'll go something like this "WTAF....."
I hope the rescue team sends you a big Bill for have to help you Drama Queen 👸🇦🇺
Always the most scenic route you take Danny. Great shots as always.
Man, that was a journey and a half!
Too frustrating to watch. Why would you not check all your gps settings? Those countries do have paved roads. Had to stop watching this episode.
Love the Video Danny! Cant wait to see how you get out of this situation.
Just don't understand why you would continue on that road.
Thank you, I enjoyed it! 👍🤝
And that hairdryer thing could very well end in disaster too. Air not circulating amazing you haven't burned a few hotels to the ground 😱
Thank you for this episode. Danny had a massive day at work. It’s nice to get home and have something nice to watch. Ps I will leave two more comments so you have 1000 comments ❤
Manufactured nonsense.
Fast Forward button for the win
Fantastic scenery, and serious mileage no doubt. Thank you for that. But, this one was as painful to watch as the video last week titled, 'Help Me.' In that one, again he gets the bike stuck....again...on the beach. Lost count of how many times that has been done. Sorry, but I'm done with this foolishness!
Imagine people complaining about free content that THEY decide to click and watch lol you weirdos ….
Keep doing what you do Danny I personally love your content. Who else rode their road king to the Bolivian death road? FROM LOS ANGELES !
Cheers to future travels 👍🏻
Wow this is exciting! You was right.. your getting badly judged. Can’t wait to see the next video
Always check your Settings.
I do have to add…..I enjoy these videos, I don’t understand how someone embarks on an adventure of this scale without an absolute and complete understanding of how the nav system works. Such a simple mistake.
Totally absurd. To waste the time of the emergency services, after behaving so irresponsibly is frustrating and just annoying to watch. After watching Danny for years, I’m unsubscribing. Sorry mate.
He is a idiot.. how can you not know that your phone map settings are set to scenic route.. I would have checked after the first time it took me on a dirt track..
I have to totally agree…. This was dragged on far far too long and just compete idiotic beyond stupid of ideas and decisions a grown man should have known better!! Complete garbage and the funny thing is he’s lost a lot of subscribers and I think it’s hilarious
I agree self inflicted stupidity at what point did that look like a major highway and he is relying on his phone for directions but refuses to use it for translation but it’s all about the drama what a dickhead two thumbs down
I understand why we might think this way sitting in our temperature controlled rooms, having slept and eaten well etc however when you mix extreme fatigue, altitude with an optimistic personality you can see the result of this unfold.
bikerintheblood….this isn’t an airport so you don’t have to announce your departure…….just leave
Oh the difficulty of learning how to properly use iMaps or Google Maps.😂😂😂
Looks like your gps was set to take the walking route. 😄
Do they not teach common sense in Australian schools!
It’s less “common” than you think
Well said, if they did he failed
Why would you think this was a main road?
I stumbled onto this channel with the Bolivian death road video and watched the rest of the episodes up to this one out of morbid curiosity and man…., I gotta say, ……..you know how to make things hard for yourself. Riding a bike should be about having fun and it sure as hell did not look like you were having fun in this episode. On the contrary, I was having a panic attack just watching you. Hope all woks out in the end! Take care Danny and look after yourself mate!
Do you really think a disused dirt track is the way to the boarder? Or anyone believes that?
There is no way in Hell that I would get off of a perfectly highway and get on a goat trail. It's obvious that you don't check your apps to make sure that it functions ok. What a Blooming Shelia. Stop at a store and get some tampons...
This road seemed much more challenging than the so called " Bolivian Death Road".
I wonder how a smart guy like you didn’t think at some point that your GPS was misconfigured. I mean as soon as it starts to send you in muddy roads, first thing that anyone think is it is setup to avoid freeways. For sure that makes good entertainment for us! Anyway much respect to you Danny, I’m not sure there are a lot of millionaires that would endure that pain…
