- Decided to make another more in depth video on how to fake (roll backwards) on a bmx bike. This is typically one of the first beginner tricks you'll learn, essentially a fake is just rolling backwards than turning around to go forward again. Hopefully this video will help start you off on your road to progression, and all it takes is a bike and a ramp, bank, or wall.

All these fucking 20 minute plus videos of kids just talking showing nothing and here you come with 4 minutes of straight business. Keep it up like this dude, very informative.
Anything for you :)
Thanks @JACOB HAGER your video helped me learn within 1 day of practise, so many people have shown me but you were the best
Thank you! I try my best haha
Ive ate shit so much
@@joshie_1226 you and me both I have a natural reaction to as soon as I’m going backwards I jump off or sum.
No one ever mentioned pushing to lock up the back wheel this helped out so much I can’t explain
This vid helped me so much thank you and have fun with your BMX life🤟
Glad I could help!!
The best explained how to fakie video!! Helped me out alot 🔥🔥🔥
I'm used to ride a cassette and now I bought a freecoaster and I need to learn the half cab on it...
Fakie with the freecoaster is much easier, but the half cab is kicking my ass.
oof I'm right foot forward and I roll out to the right lol and I spin to the left hah
Same
Same
same, i thought that only being able to ride (if not ride better on the right foot is bad
Nice video i've got a freecoaster and breaks
Sssaaammmmeeee mines a voodoo with a gyro too
Yo 3:36 this is so perfect Thank you! It helps to see your feet positioning 👍
great tutorial to this day. learnt it in an hour
Good video, but I learned a different way. Now nobody wants to raise their seat...how I learned rollbacks was to raise my seat way up, sit on the seat and push off backwards with my feet. Build enough momentum to coast backwards at a speed, then lift your feet up and learn to balance. Eventually put your feet on the pedals sitting down. Easy this way and you get more momentum and rollback time. Your brain needs to re learn how to ride while going backwards. Next try to stand up. Down a slight slope is great. Once comfortable try off a transition or a bank then work on the turnaround. (I would suggest getting a separate wide seat and post for this tuff and barspins. Interchange as necessary).
Jacob, sorry to hijack your comments bro...just wanted to suggest another way for those who don't have a ramp, or who have not learned their balance going backwards. I had to gain confidence going backwards b4 ever trying a 180. I just couldn't get myself to rotate and turn my back (land backwards). Rollbacks is not just a mental thing it's learning to ride the bike all over again. Most guys watching this maybe can't do a 180 yet. I'm suggesting you can get much more time going backwards by just pushing off. Also the little moment up the ramp where you stop and reverse direction can totally mess up the fakie if you don't nail your balance. Nice videos thanks.
This was excellent.
i did it a few times by now but only get like 3-5 done from 100 attempts. also dont know how to fakie longer. i lose balance after 1-2 bike lengths
Check my comment further up...learn to ride backwards by raising your seat and pushing off backwards with feet. Eventually you will learn to coast, then rollback sitting, then standing. A slight sloping road or parking lot hepls. Leaning to ride backwards will make you very confident to jump and land backwards .
I started on a cassette and couldn't fakie I'd always flip out so it was easier for me on a free coaster
This was extremely useful
Nice
Thank u 😊
I did it in 3 days thanks
i did one in one day.. took me 30 minutes of straight trying
Same I tried it after looking at some tutorials and landed it on the first day
Thanx dud
No problem!
Used to bike years ago upgraded to a motorcycle now looking to get back into bmx. Checking out the Fly Proton bikes since I don't have 1100 to spend on a badass bike build I have to stick to a budget. Can anyone reccomend some good brands that compare to the Fly Proton or Kinky Whip on durability and price?
Problem I always had with fake is my front tire always slid across the pavement rather than turning the bike just before that pivot. Can ride fake forever but could never figure out the pivot.
Get a se wild man
Thanks
Dude can you tricks a 3 60 plss
wich steer are u using?
Thank you/
I cant get my body to make it true fully
Keep Practicing!
@@sonnybikes ok
I found the trick is to go higher up the ramps so you roll back a bit faster, go near the copin then as you get near the bottom spin it, check my fakie video i recently uploaded
We're can U get a free coster
How do we get that bike
Been trying for months. Can't figure it out
When I roll backwards my pedals go back too
When I try to turn around my cassette stops me
Richie Morales u gotta pedal backwards
when you turn use your pedal pressure, lift the front wheel, and turn your head and bars
I try and pivot and I lean too far to one side :(
we all do
#666 sweet tutorial
I have a hill

Thanks
